    Good night all

Just peeked out my window to see we have had another couple of inches of snow  Thank goodness I am going nowhere tomorrow. Stay warm everyone.
Thank goodness this cruise is in sunnier climes. Lots of adventuring to do tomorrow.
    Chris

I was hurrying on deck to watch the fireworks when I got shoved aside by a lady in a slinky catsuit, tripped on a windlass and went overboard. Good job there was a trailing rope I could grab as nobody could hear my shouts for help!

    Ruined my Tux it did.

I shall be seeing captain rehab later to demand an investigation.

Off to my suite now to get warm.

Good Morning Delboy, and a belated Happy New Year :!: :!:

So sorry to hear about your mishap last night, but glad you survived.

Who was the lady in the slinky catsuit, I wonder :?: Was she blind not to see that she was shoving aside the opportunity of a lifetime :?:

An investigation is definitely called for. It could have turned into a murder mystery, after all, but thankfully, you are still with us. Shame about the Tux though.

Hope you are nice ande warm now :!:

Mea culpa, oooooops, sorry, sorry, it's all my fault! I'll get you another Tux, Del, from the shop. Mind you, you shouldn't have shouted 'firemen!' at the top of your voice like that, I just wanted to see where they were and have first pick.
On second thoughts, did you actually shout 'fireworks!'? If you did, then I'd better get a hearing aid attached to my new specs when I collect them next week.
Did you know you got ice-cream all down my catsuit when we collided? It's OK, though, I licked it off - what flavour was it? Rather nice.

    Love and kisses

    Hi all

New Year's Day, and the sun is shining on us all.

This is undoubtedly the dawning of a whole new life, so relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy yourselves.

That beach volley ball looks far too energetic, Val. I think it is a day for chilling out and taking stock of your life, ready for the year ahead.

We can all meet later in the bar, and then another lovely meal, followed by a cuddle from someone you love, if you are lucky.

    Cap'n Rehab, for your information,

An anchor windlass is a machine that restrains and manipulates the anchor chain and/or rope on a boat, allowing the anchor to be raised and lowered. A notched wheel engages the links of the chain or the rope. A brake is provided for control and the windlass is usually powered by an electric or hydraulic motor operating via a gear train.

So there you go :!: :!:

    ^ Wot she said

Slipped ashore for a cask of Sherry earlier so will have a glass or two before dinner tonight, fillet steak with field mushrooms, beef tomatoes, and a small green salad. A bottle of Château Neuf Du Pape to go with it too.

    Wot did she say :?: :?: :?:

The meal sounds nice, but are you going to be sitting all alone :?:

A whole bottle of Chateau Neuf du Pape all to yourself :?: Don't go falling overboard again, will you :?:

    Hello Jan
I was wondering what we are going to do tonight.
I suppose we could chill out in the lounge bar, have some of the rat pack music. They are here to sing.

Then we can plan this fancy dress ball. What do you fancy coming as,
    Robin Hood?

Wasn't me! I was busy licking liquorice ice cream - mmmmm - off my catsuit. Blame Del.

I rather fancy going as Juliet - perhaps the Captain will come as Romeo? We'll make a lovely pair................it's the elegant long white gown and headdress doing it for me, makes a change! And the thought of the Cap'n in his doublet makes me come over all unnecessary. Besides, I'd have to eat the Captain, er, I mean eat at the Captains table tonight, and I rather fancied his pudding last night. Mind you, that was before the ice cream.

See you all later in the bar!
