    Ooooh, I just opened my eyes on to the most glorious view.......Trish, it's much warmer than the Needles lift! Isn't it lovely here?

    I can't make up my mind what to come as tonight...............I might have to go and have a little drinkie when we get back; you got any ideas, Trish?

    Yes, it was beautiful. I am getting itchy feet and have started looking up holidays to Amalfi. My Italian friends live at Eboli which is 60 kms from Salerno and Amalfi. I have stayed several times in Amalfi. The 2nd time I went was my honeymoon and we were given a lovely apartment which went deep into the apartments up the huge cliff and we had to go 72 steps - I could not do it now.
    The walls and ceilings were painted with murals and flowers and very high up like a domed roof.

    The third time we went we stayed in a lovely hotel (cant remember the name at the moment, but we use to take the boat out to Capri and Salerno. As I said I am getting itchy feet for Italy again.

    We are in Capri, so think of something. Is Val coming? I remember my mum listening to a song about the Isle Of Capri but cannot remember it.

    Lets go and have a little drinkie while we think. Julie, Joan, Joy, Val, Chris, anyone fancy a little drink for now???

    You had to climb 72 steps to get to your Villa on Honeymoon Gosh, that's a lot to do.

    If you google 'Amalfi' you will see that the houses are built into the side of the cliff mountain withsome rooms dug out of the mountain. The apartments all have balconies and the time we went, most of the tenants had moved out. The nearest hotel were buying them up which was sad.
    I don't think I could climb up there now and I expect the hotel has put a lift in. It would be nice to find out.
