    If you google 'Amalfi' you will see that the houses are built into the side of the cliff mountain withsome rooms dug out of the mountain. The apartments all have balconies and the time we went, most of the tenants had moved out. The nearest hotel were buying them up which was sad.
    I don't think I could climb up there now and I expect the hotel has put a lift in. It would be nice to find out.

    I did see some houses built well not really a mountain a big hill, in Malta,if we had not looked over the edge we would not have known they were there

    It did looknice though, no noisy neighbours.

    Where would you like to go tomorrow :?: What about Sorrento and the Bay of Naples? We could climb Mount Vesuvius if you were feeling energetic.

    That sounds soooo good, Joan.........I'll look forward to it. One more large drink then I will retire sedately to my cabin (that'll make a change) to recharge my batteries for the climb.

    That woulde be fun climbing Mount Vesuvius. I'm sure we could do that. :shock:

    Vesuvius last erupted in 1944 I think, but it is still an active volcano. I hope it doesn't choose to erupt when we are halfway up it. Just our luck if it did :!:

    Do you have splints to wear. They do help you so much. I like mine it gives me the help I need when I tranfer from my wheelchair to my armchair or bed they are a gtreat help.

    i'm on the board of the skylARC, so it's been given to me to check up on you all.

    should i report back that the trip is going well, no one worrying hte cap'n, adn all alcohol is limited to one per day to each person?

    ( i will of course need to be properly compensted formy report form the cuisers)

    good morning wonder where we going to day did enjoy the chair lift the views were lovely sorry missed the party had hay fever form all the pollen and had to go straight to bed when got back meds have kicked in now so will be up for what ever trip going

    No Trish i don't i was offered them but i was worried about getting up to go to the loo with them on :shock: i do have wrist supports to wear in the day

    I hve come to make an announcement. Trisher, Val, Julie, Joan,Rehab Sanjita, and all those I have missed.

    I have decided to leave the ship at Capri. I have met a wonderful man, he is a multi millionnaire, but that doesn't matter. He is letting me use a beautiful studio in Anna Capri. When it is time to go home he said he will fly me back in his private jet.
    I am having my hearts desire. He has already made arrangements to collect my things off the ship.

    What more could a girl ask for?

    Rehab. Sanjita.
    Do not fear, everything is fine. My dear friends in Eboli have organised this wonderful stay with their old banking friend. After my stay here I shall meet up with them in Positano where they have another home and then fly home from Naples.

    That will be the plan and it all comes true in September.
    Now I must get on with some work.
