Hi Chris
Thanks for keeping us informed of Iris' progress. It's good of you to start the threads for Yvonne and Iris.
Please pass on my regards to Iris and all the best for a speedy recovery.
Many of us have been in the hands of surgeons and it's not very easy coping with surgery as well as everything else - arthur in other joints and other medical problems. Support encouragement from family, friends and forum users makes one feel optimistic about the future.
With warmest regards

You're obviously one of our forum pigeons...sorry closest I could get (at least it has wings
)
Anyway please tie a message to your leg, fly in Flower and give Iris all our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
She'll be back with us before she knows it.

Hi Legs,
I make a good wood pigeon... not so speedy though and its seems makes a better pie given all the arrows I have had to dodgexxx
Hi All,
Just heard from Iris again, she is hoping to come back home Thursday (they do it quick now a days don't they?)
She got a huge belt of pain last night, bless her and is now hi on morphine and a bit more comfortable. Bless her I hope they will keep it well quiet for her now cus it does really sound painful.
She said to thank everyone and say how much she appreciates the messages ad support. Also we have to move the bus as we seem to have parked it across a few consultant bays..... we had to put it somewhere
Will keep you posted and the one thing I know is how much the forum really helps people so recon we should all pat our selves n the back as well
You all have a decent day and I am off into town in a bit of anyone wants anything? ((( ))) to you all Cris xx
Hi Carol,
Bit better than yesterday thanks..... slow old process these conditions eh? Hope your doing ok as well? Cris x
Oh Legs thanks for the grain and the nest box as wellxxx
Sorry I forgot to say passed on all the messages to her .... my brain couldn't remember to tell you that just now :oops:0 -
Hi Cris
I hope that morphine keeps the pain at bay for her the poor poor thing
No problems....
have this thing shifted in a jiffy....
Love

Hi Cris, thanks for keeping us up to date.
Wow - being chucked out on Thursday ... that is quick - make sure she remembers to pick up enough pain meds on her way out.
That morphine stuff is great isn't it??! Just keep it topped up - Iris.
Tell the consultants we have enough blue badges between us to stay put - and it wont harm them to use their legs ... they are just humans in gowns!!
I totally agree Cris - this forum IS great - it has really helped me.
If it's not too late - I'm low on bread, strawberries and paracetomol ...
Please pass on my love to Iris,

Poor dorcas, but immediate post-op stuff is always rough. She's not even 24 hours yet! The fluffy pink cloud of morphine intoxication is designed for just these situations, let's hope it does its job.
