Oh Tilly,
You treasure I shall so look forward to that! Got a bit of running around to do today so have slipped an energy bucket into my pocketGot a straw on it so I can use it like a runners bottle

Hi Speedy,
S's sledge is juts what you need for that lot and if its too big maybe you sit on the hay as well?
you have a good day ((( ))) xx
Hi Michelle,
She will be a min before she is able to post but its all gong well and the biggest 'problem' she has with posting is her fused wrist isn't so good at typing. It does sound very hopeful and t rare cus its fairly new isn't it? I have told her you re waiting for one and she will tell you all about it as soon as she is able. I told her not to rush though cus its very early days for her at the mo.
Hope your are ok today as well? We go a bit of sun and no clouds((( ))) Cris x
Hi All,
She just text me and had a good night. Sends her love and hugs to you all and has her arm elevated above her heart level. She was sick this morning so was very lucky yesterday eh?!
I will pass on the messages later and she said she is being spoiled at the mo, still think she has earned that!
Lynn hope I missed your sheets todayI did fly over Legs's place but not sure if I remembered to leave a card..... a few others as well (what am I dong excepting the blame for pigeon calling cards.... anyway I got sea gulls..... bit like flying elephants
You all have a good day and I know how much this support is helping Iris so thank you all form me and I know her
Hope everyone has a reasonable day. ((( ))) to you all Cris xx0 -

SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Hi Iris,
Do hope things improve soon. Glad to see you are being well looked after. Sending lots of hugs.

Hi Iris and Cris
So pleased it's all over and you're home again, hope you're into daytime TV or have plenty of DVDs to watch/mags/books to read.
Choccy is the order of the day with lashings of tea/coffee/wine/beer/gin or whatever takes your fancy.
Apparently there's a website called 'Be My Butler' where you can hire a nice young man just wearing skin tight trousers and a bowtie to tend to your every need. I'm thinking we could have a whip round on the Forum to get you one .....only thing is, make sure if he speaks English with a French accent that DD doesn't find out otherwise you won't get rid of her
Luv Legs XX
PS Cris, I did see a pigeon fly over earlier and it was wearing wellies ....was that you by any chance? :?Love, Legs x

Hi Iris, if you are looking in, Cris if you are not...............hope the nausea has stopped and you are feeling more the thing today. A night in your own bed often works wonders!
Also hope the spoiling is continuing, you can't have too much at a time like this.
Cris, glad you are a pigeon........we've got flippin' great seagulls shrieking about today................I've been wearing a hat and I'm not even thinking about looking up...............I haven't been the same since one got me in Brixham 10 years ago.

You take it easy Cris, you've been doing a lot these past few days. Hope the nurse was able to suggest an anti sickness tablet for the nausea.
Brilliant news that you are home Iris. Hope you be a good patient now that you're in your own place. Do let your Sister and Family help now won't you and get lots of rest.

Hi Trisher
What a fabulous bouquet!! Iris will love them..
Hi Iris
Hope you are OK - I guess these early days will be very tough for you, but I'm really hoping the future benefits will far outweigh the current pain.
Hi Cris
'm envious of you with all your lovely animals.. hard work (and lack of sleep) I know, but nothing like a new 'baby' to make the world seem a better place...
Marion0 -
Hi Rita,
She didn't offer anything bar see the gp so if it keeps on I shall make an appointment for next week. Hope your doing ok and Iris sends her love and a ((( ))) to you. Hey don't you go oer doing it either. ((( ))) Cris xx
Hi Speedy,
He is actually a nice little chap, legs already straight and very bold.....Just her idea of foaling leaves a bit to be desiredHope you and S have a good weekend.
They are three quarters done but I just don't seem to have that final push as yet but not been too well so guess that's why? xx
Hi Marian,
Its not a bad way of life really3 have foaled so far with one more to go..... Their owner has a feral mare.... she is feral as well but getting better and she will be foaling probably in a couple of weeks. Hey I intend to spend between now and then sleeping
I hope your doing ok? Its a hard slog sometimes isn't it but you will get there soon I hope. A ((( ))) and what are you like at sitting up with a feral mareCris x
Hi All,
Have flown up and knocked on the window but couldn't in as yet. I am late cus i had a late night so have left the messages and flowers and will let you know later. She did send love and hugs to you all last night and i may not have told you as I was a bit side tracked.
I hope the sun is in your bit of the UK and leaving some ((( )))'s for all that need and for those that don't as well. You all have a good day. Cris xx0 -
Hi Iris - hope you haven't been in touch because you are resting ... visitors for too long can be tiring in the early days. As long as you have stopped chucking up and the pain meds are making things tolerable.
Speedy
Hi Cris - I hope she turns out a better Mum than she was at foaling. Was it her first? In your experience do they get better at it?
Re the sheep - sounds like you are getting through the shearing somehow ... although physically it must be a killer - it must be a relief too.
S is tired and unpredictable today ... hoping this is just because he is tired and not because he is sickening for something. This is when life gets complicated ... he is no good at working out what''s wrong - and I have to rely on analysing his behaviour and symptoms .. a bit like you have to with your guests!! We gave athletics training a miss today - too risky - but a shame as he needs a fair amount of exercise for his general wellbeing ... Keep your fingers crossed for us.
Speedy

Hi Cris
I would be in my element sitting up with a feral mare! If only I didn't live hundreds of miles away from you I would be over like a flash...
Hi Speedy
Sorry to hear S is not too good today.. hope that your evening is not too bad and there is an improvement tomorrow..
Marion0 -
Thanks Marion, things have been calmer/easier here since late afternoon - but not out of the woods yet ..

You all take care and I hope everyone is ok today? Hugs to all Cris xx
Oh forgot to say no this is her 3rd foal..... that I know of..... She did the same last year and I know how serious this bag and fluid thing is cus I wasn't here last year (it was drip week) and came home just in time..... I welded to her this time and Rowan hasn't suffered any birth trauma..... Think I might have

Hi All,
Just herd from her, she is ok but her arm is hurting and she is very bruised still. She said her pain control is holding it but bless her she hasn't been able to use the lap top yet.
She asked to say she is missing you all and well she will be back as soon as she is able. I still think a voice activated one is the answer..... Bless her she is bored but being well looked after and at least this way she is still in touch with all cus I should have worried my self sick.
Oh do you lie the bells I have round my legs so she can hear me fly in?
You all take care and Iris sends her love. xx
Hi Barbara shall pass on your message xx0 -
Iris, hope you are improving and that you will soon be bouncing back. Keep your tail fluffed up!
Cris, you are a wonder!
Annie0 -
Hi Annie,

Hope your ok and thank you so much for the name cus it suits himxx
Hi All,
I know how much it helps to get support when your cut off from it so will make sure she gets all the messages.
She has her plaster changed soon (I think that will really help actually) and they will have a look at it and her physio is arranged and also the ot have helped but she said she hasn' been able to loo at the lap top as yet.
Will keep you posted, Luv the pigeon in the nice cap, jacket and with the lovely sachel (so big to carry all the hugs and good wishes in) and not forgetting the lovely bells on my feetxx
Iris if you do look in (((((((((( )))))))))) xxx0 -
Hi Cris

Poor poor Iris
