Hi Cris the constant chucking up is a nightmare at any time but even worse in hospital and when you are feeling weak after an op. I doubt it will delay her discharge - even when I was throwing up hourly they were still planning my discharge ... If she can't keep down the anti sickness meds will they not give them to her as a jab. You poor thing Iris, that's the pits.
Thanks Cris you are a star - keeping watch over Iris for us and managing to run errands for the likes of me.

Hi Speedy,
I will check on her tomorrow. Hey you realise i am flying almost the whole length of the UK
Get your list ready for me in the morning and I shall get it. You have a good night flower and hope you have got a decent answer re your 6 week check up? I shall go look. Luv and a ((( ))) Cris xx0 -
Today's the day, hope Iris gets home and they've sorted out the nasty sickness. Thanks for keeping us all updated Cris. Fingers crossed today goes as planned. I'm sure she'll be absolutely wrecked when she gets home but at least she can rest better.
big hugs always rita, will try to pop back later tonight to see how things go0 -
I know she's supposed to be released today - is there anyone at home to look after her? Has the swelling decreased? Oh poor dorcas, she has had a rough time of it (as though any op is easy - duh DD). Wishing you well, Iris, and skezier - you certainly are putting in the miles! Diabolic Damsel.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

DD, Iris said her daughters were going to take time off work to be with her during the day ... I'm sure.
Iris, Hope you had a better night.
If they keep you in, make sure someone/anyone ... brings you in something you fancy eating again and are likely to keep down ... hospital full meal not the best thing ...

Hi All,
Poor Iris they are now saying they might keep her another day cus of the sickness...... she asked if the rescue committee can go into action.....
I am getting the bus and oddly enough its still reasonably full  I guess they spent the night in it?
He has his best white coat on and his stethoscope and Little Legs is still a matron but we must stop them from taking temperatures or educate them in the ways of humans
The good news is her swelling is less and she is waiting for the ward rounds so she will know if she can leave today or not.
Bless her I hope she can but she was very ill yesterday so I guess they are being cautious eh?
You all take care and have a decent day and I shall go get the escape committee active(((( )))) to you all Cris xx
Have sent on all the messages and me,I don't feel so good but its evenings when it catches up... its either the mtx, the crohn's or fatigueThink I might just pick one and blame it
This forum is so good and hugs back to you all from me

Hi Cris, thanks for the update ... I think you need an easy day today - you have been very busy the last few days ....
Iris you must be feeling a bit better if you are waiting for the ward round ... hospitals are all about waiting aren't they?! When you are feeling really rough ... all you really care about is when the next meds round is ... but when you feel perkier ... you seem to be waiting for everything!! It has been fab getting updates via Cris.
Cris, I think the team might be safer with those forehead thermometer strips?!!!

Welcome home Iris! Hope you recovery continues apace now you have escaped!!!
Cris, you have been amazing with all that flying up and down, here there and everywhere, being pigeon of mercy!
To help you with your day of rest on Saturday I have ordered sunshine for the garden, and will pop in later to set up the hammock for you under the trees. And a magic genie (masquerading as a tame deer) to bring you anything you want from the cafe all day long - just click your fingers. Oh and hunky guys are awaiting instructions on what needs doing for your animals, so you can have a proper, well-deserved day off!

Hi Cris, nearly forgot what was going to say then ... my friends hubby had an op yesterday and she was just updating me by text ...
I have tied S's sledge to the scooter, so should be able to transport your shopping ... do you think they'll have hay and chicken pellets at the Co-op or the local little Spar???!! Might have to resort to Amazon!!!
Hi Iris, hope you don't feel too rough. I left you a message on the chit chat thread ... you've got a lot of catch up reading to do ...!!
