Do you take cyber cash or shall I start a tab?!

    Speedy
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Thanks Cris, you are doing a great job ... liaising with our cyber mate Iris and even doing my shopping ... a cyber tab ... awesome!!

Let's hope Iris has a good night .. the nurses will have other ideas ... just checking your blood pressure/your drain/take your temp/do you need a bed pan/check your line/give you some antibiotics ... any excuse to ensure the patients are awake on the night shift too ...

Hi Cris - you do make a brilliant carrier pigeon (sorry wood pigeon) and it's lovely to have regular progress updates on Iris. Just adding my good wishes for Iris and hoping she had a better night and is looking forward to escaping tomorrow. Best not let Toni drive the bus tho!
Hope you are bearing up Cris. Have left a cuppa for you on the garden bench if you get chance to pop in for a bit of a sit-down. Think the sun is coming out so might pop in myself for a bit.
    Love Tilly xxx

    Hi Again,

Found an opened window this time :D

Poor Iris has had a mixed time of it. Swelling! Not kind eh? She said she is ok and they have split her plaster so it has room to swell up.

She asked e to send hugs to all and she is still on for going home tomorrow.

Have passed on all your messages and hugs and well i shall add mine to you all as well as hers/ Luv Cris xx and a bucket of mixed (((((((((( )))))))))) form us both.

Do hope that the healing is quick for her, it does sound horribly painful - I've never been able to keep a plaster cast on either of my feet, 'cos they just dislike it and swell the minute the plaster goes on. Not had to have one on hands and arms so far!

All my love to Iris, hope she feels able to cope if they are still chucking her out tomorrow.

Hi, let's hope you are more comfy Iris with the plaster spilt. My leg was like a big old oak tree trunk after my op - so I sympathise.

Wish I logged on soon Cris, would have saved me a journey - I needed a few bits from the supermarket ... never mind, I did a mad dash on the scooter ...

    ((((hugs)))) to both,

    Speedy

    Hi All,

Poor Iris has been throwing up most of the day, she said like you did Speedy? GA's don't half mess with us eh? I have the white liquid now a days as the last ordinary one I had I threw up for the next 72 hours so anyone who find GA's horrible hat what to ask for..... Don't remember its name but think it begins with a M? Sorry kinda brain dead just now

She is hoping to still get home tomorrow but being sick like that might delay it by a day maybe?

She was saying in her ward are some very nice ladies, all with arthritis and one is her consultants MIL...... Got to be useful that  She has told them and the consultant all about us and well its got to be good they will know if they need/want us we are all here eh?

Sorry I am rambling away but well got to earn my bowl of pigeon corn

She sent hugs to you all and Marion, Wonky, I and Toni I added you to her list of hugs and bless her she said they really help her. I know from my drip how good it is to know you have support and hugs even though you can't see them till you get home.

Some of you know the only way I get through the drip is cus of you lot and your support and kicks to make me go so I honestly know how much this helps and how grateful I was so I know Iris means it when she says to thank you all.

Will fly up again in the morning and see if they are going to let her out.

((((( ))))) to you all from Iris and also from me cus you know what you are such good people. Luv and a hope for a decent night to you all Cris who is sure there will be another foal in 3-5 days :D now where can I get some real feel better drafts and energy  xx

Hey Speedy if it helps I will get it for you tomorrow  ((( ))) xx
