Hopefully only an hour or so to go now? I think someone on C/C is planning a big party to celebrate the the end of a dreadful week.
I'm sorry but I still think it's a shame our Cris even had to write a letter for this sister. Why did she have to be so nasty?
Sending gentle ((((hugs))) Cris - nearly there!
love Pennie XX0 -
HI Cris, TOni, Ange & everyone
so glad that the letter had an impact. Sometimes the written word is so much more powerful ..... perhaps because it has been considered and worked on, so can be so much less emotional than a conversation.
SO glad that it helped, and even happier that you are almost out of there
loads of hugs Cris, and I'm so proud of you for going today, when it would have been so much easier to stay in bed.
oodles of hugs

Cris is sleeping, but sends hugs for all of you....

So glad this awful week is over for you. Was so sorry to see about the escaping horses and the savage nurse who had you in tears. I know it really has been a tough week for you and really hope you feel the benefit soon after such a rough time. You have been so brave to keep going each day, we are all very proud of you.
Sorry not to have been about much but am so grateful to Toni, DD, Iris and Ange for the updates and I have been thinking of you Cris.
I hope you get some restful sleep tonight in the knowledge that it is all over for now.
take care, love, hugs (((( )))) and CDM when you can face it.

So glad Cris that you have got to the end of your week from hell. Hope the benefits kick in soon. Thinking of you,
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -
Well done darlin`.
So glad that you are already feeling the benefit. Now, deep breaths and just wallow in the beauty all around you.
Much love.......Ange.x.0 -
So relieved and glad for you, Cris, it's all done and dusted for another while. Certainly hope you feel the benefit soon and good on you for getting the sister on your side.......you must have had some piskie magic in your letter!
Give those horses a severe ticking off! Well, not Rowan, he was innocent.............
I can remove my pilots helmet with a sigh of relief and put my rope back in the shed for another time........it's that time of the year for reviews and follow-ups round my way, so I expect it will be needed again soon.
Thanks to all those who kept us updated - Toni, Ange, Iris.
Lots of love from Annie0 -
Well done Cris..
Hope you are feeling/will feel the benefit soon..

Hi All,
Firstly I really do thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your help to get through another drip week.... next one is in January so a while off.
I wasn't going to go today.... I was fighting with the delinquent mares (Wonky haven't done them a letter but have read them the riot act ) and it was getting later and later before I could get them back and then get clean.....
I still didn't know as I was gong cus yesterday had been so hard... 4hours throwing up is so tiring and can set the trend. Then the run in thing and I sat here with a cuppa and did genuinely think I can't do this..... Then I thought how would I tell you all. You have been there helping and supporting me and I throw the towel in..... so I went outside and surrendered to Annie's plan hooks, Miss L. Legs and her military might and all of you with your forks, brooms, rugby gear, deer's, snowploughs, JCB's, orphan lambs and ropes..........
It was a bit fraught for a second but the sister and I had a chat.... not easy as I was so far on the defensive and she was so bemused as to how I had got so upset yesterday..... we sorted it out I think. I kinda think talking is usually the best option but I had done a letter and that had made a impact on her and opened the door for a talk about things.....
You were all in the room and I think she could see you
I am totally shattered and it was still working in my legs obviously up to an hour ago so it will do some good...... Just its not easy.... its ok though if any of you have to have it I kinda know the ins and outs after all these years.
I promise to be better next time.... and yes I have got my fingers crossed
Many, many thanks to you all Toni, Iris and Ange especially and DD who even sent me love for their help and PA duties. Cris xxx0 -
Relieved and glad for you, Cris. You get those critters to give you some tlc (if such a thing is possible) over the weekend.
Relieved, too, because you can feel it working - I think I remember last time you had some problems - but it was very cold then.
Hopefully this will see you through the autumn months and I am hoping hard for a milder winter this time round.
Love

Hi Annie,
I am a bit cross.... Rowan and Blossom are just so upset when their mums leave them! The mares don't seem to care but they have been in all day and were there at dusk so the fencing is hopefully all found..... Rowan thinks i am his second mummy so he has had a bit of love and Bloss well Flower has been very good with her but they do need their mums for drinking......
I don't fare so well i the cold weather.... This is only going to last till end of November/ December but with luck being done in January will make a difference to the ridiculous toes and feet eh?!
hey now how come you got the hook in the back of my jacket?! ((( ))) and a big neigh from Rows who is doing his auditions for a new mummy tomorrow xx0 -
I know how hard the cold weather is for you, petal. Am sending up big smoke signals for a better winter than the last one.
But I hope you find the next couple of months more comfortable - am arranging for all the mares to line up outside the house to keep the warmth in! (Just remember to let the coldth out first!).
Love

Cris
Hope you are having a good rest tonight and feel better tomorrow knowing that this week is over. So good to see you did manage to call in this evening after such an awful week. I am back home now so will be checking in on you. I am so pleased that all these lovely people did manage to get you there for the last day almost against your will. I can't begin to understand how much this drip week helps you but you know so many of these peeps do so wish it was easier for you.
Take care Cris.
love and hugs always (((( ))))

Cris
So glad you never threw in the towel well done for going Cris.
So now we have to clear January, clean our arnmour, equipment and everything else we took with us.
Fingers crossed the meds last for a long time.
Love Trish xxxx0 -
Hi Cris
I`m so glad to see that you are home again and that you were able to complete the dreaded course. I hope that you have a fairly restful weekend and that your animals aren`t too demanding of you .
NB0 -
hope you had a decent sleep last night Cris...... at least you've not got that dreadful drip to think about going in for today.
so happy for you it is all by for a few months... and hope you feel the benefits too.
sending you my very best hot water bottle to keep your tootsies warm overnight.
a wee tip from my dear dad..... on a cold morning put your wellies in a basin of hot water before you put them on.. lovely also... and I know this sounds weird... but works... put each foot in a small plastic bag before you put the warm wellies on... keeps in the heat.!
hope the lodgers are behaving this morn. need help with the round up?
