Hi Cris, glad you got through your difficult week, but all the swelling don't sound right. I'm with the others in that I think the docs need to look at it. Hoping you have a better and peaceful day tomorrow and the swelling goes down soon. Hope those animals are behaving and not leading you a merry dance, be great if they could wait on you a while eh! hmmm maybe not........ Anyway much love and healing gentle hugs from us up north, love Brenda xxxxx(((())))0

Morning skezier - I don't have a clue about the music! I have had a quiet word with Messrs Attenborough and Bellamy and they are not happy either (mainly 'cos they are tied to twin beds in our spare room and of course we went away for the week-end - ) Their view is that the treatment is designed to aid skeziers, not make them poorly, and they feel you should contact your doc today. They even thought that when I DIDN'T have a large blade at their respective throats. Even if the swelling has gone down, even if you are feeling OK, please ring the hospital - isn't the nicer nurse about today? Tell her (or someone) what has happened, just so that someone, somewhere, who knows your medical history, is in the loop. Otherwise the wise men of nature get it. Comprenez?! Morning Cris
I hope that the breeze blocks did the trick, and the swelling has settled for you. But if it has, that does not get you out of checking out with the hospital/GP!!
The ski suit sounds like a good idea, nice and brightly coloured, but there would be no sneaking up on the lodgers in psychedelic gear!!
i really hope you are feeling a bit better all round today and that your back and neck are behaving. (((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))

Morning, petal. Hope you got some sleep last night and that the legs are better........but if not also hope you've rung/seen a doc!
It is cold here, are you any warmer today down there? The horses will not be satisfied with looking through the window soon, they will want to come in where it's warm!

Hi Trish, Brenda, Julie, DD, Tilly, Nearly, Barbara, Elizabeth, Annie, Wonky and Rose,
All looked at. He thinks the capillaries at least are inflamed but not infected and it should self right in a week or so. He said its a reaction/ sensitivity to the iloprost ( its a know side effect apparently so I been lucky so far eh?! ) but might stay for ever, he doesn't really know.
The swelling is pooling and he does think the values are getting tired as well.... I see the rumo in a couple of weeks so will see what he thinks and poss ask if he thinks seeing the cardio/vascs is a good idea.
Am allowed t take the meds again so am really pleased about the pain ones cus I didn't half miss then last night
Hope you all are o today and that some of this sun is around there? Cris xxx0 -
Oh Cris ...... that's not what you wanted to hear is it (apart from the pain med bit )
hope things settle down for you soon
hugs

Hi Wonky and Barbara,
He did seem abit vague over time scales especially but have to go back in a week if its not stopped.... trouble is they can't get the med out now its in my blood stream so .... that's why it might last till it wears off I guess? I was a bit confused about some of this but least its not anything serious.
Hope your both ok and a mate is dong the sheepsis so all I got to do is this lot here..... and rest up.... so bored already ((( ))) and slurs xx0 -
I am so glad you went to see him, and I am glad it is just a side effect, rough tho it is. You take care, make sure you keep taking some decent rest, and look after yourself. A mightily-relieved DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

if you rang the consultant who deals with the drip might they be able to give you something to help?

Hello flower...
you've been through the wars this past week (and beyond  )
I'm glad you at least know what's causing the swelling & pooling but really hope you will 'deflate' soon as Toni suggested!
remember to keep the legs up as much as you can..... and don't do anything that isn't urgent. :? you still got wonder boy helping?
wally and the loons are willing to come down pronto to ' help'.... personally I'd lock the door if I was you and saw them coming. :P :!:
what about the Mtx Cris? you ok to take that too?

HI Cris
Phew - that's quite reassuring (I think!)..
I use pillows under the end of my mattress to raise my legs overnight and it does help clear the swelling and the pooling of blood in my lower legs. You could do with lying down with them raised a few times during the day if you can - just 20 minutes or so...
Glad that you have got some help this week anyway.
Take care

Right, please make sure you get to bed tonight - armchairing is no good for you at the mo. Chat tomorrow, I hope you have a good night. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Cris, so glad it's turned out to be something and nothing! But you do need to rest as much as you can, hopefully it will have disappeared by the end of the week.
Tell the critters you're having time off (fat chance - even my cat won't give me a day off).
Annie0 -
Hi Cris
any better this morning?
I do hope so
(Iris - wonder-boy IS stilll there - love his name )
Watch you dont twist your back though - tying to type with you legs elevated
Love
