Hi Barbara, Louise, Pennie, DD, Legs, Trish, Val and the posse,

Had a chat with a goof mate and well the sister and I are kinda singing from the same song sheet just different verses..... She was probably protecting both the ward and the hospital.....So the letter Pennie isn't a complaint its to make sure the litigation threat no longer exists.

I am hoping this will help her view me as less of a risk........

She did say she will get me mid lined....... I said I would almost bet her a hundred quid she wouldn't I sort of think if the consultant can't a ward sister isn't gong to have much success......but you never know........

I shall try to be less ill today I shall also hope the line is holding though its a bit unlikely but you never know.

There is a foal neighing out there.... I guess I had best go see if a mother or two are missing.... I so wish his had been better week...

I am so, sorry you had such a bad day yesterday but you MUST go today Cris if you possible can, else the stress and trauma you have been through this week so far will all have been for nothing.

Right, I have made you a huge cuppa with shovelsl full of courage and with several CDMs on the side (thanks for enlightening me DD) and we can sit down and watch Arthur and TB before we set off.

The combined strength of the military and the Skezier Preservation Society are waiting outside for you so no chance of escape -sorry.

Will be with you all the way again Cris - and just hang on to the fact that today is the last day and, by this evening it will be done and dusted.

I'm still cross. I am sorry for the late look-in, but as you know Mr DD and I are off to Cambridge today - in fact, to get me off here he has taken my tea upstairs. Sneaky.

I shall be with you in spirit, and on the phone. I shall text regularly and, let's just get this straight, you are under NO obligation to reply. I will assume you are at the hospital but if you are in a field, cuddling sheep, then that's equally fine. I suspect the former tho, the line has held, (good thing) the sister may not be so much of a cow after all (good thing) and this stuff is designed to give you a fairly good three months (definitley a good thing). I have to go and drink tea and read a book with Mr DD - well, he has his, I shall read my own! Take care. Thinking of you. DD

I am so full of awe at what you go through on these weeks, and so proud of you for being so brave when the easiest thing must be for you to hide and not to go.

OH TOni there's no wonder you feel down .... you are completely helpless to help her but would try to do anything to make it better .... if only there was something practical we can do.

As Toni is probably on her way to Joseph`s exhibition, I thought I would let you all know that I just heard from Cris.

The letter she took seems to have taken the wind out of Bossy Bertha`s sails, and Cris is feeling less stressed. Fingers crossed it stays that way for the rest of the day!........Ange.
