Well done your Mum finding some suitable replacement earrings for your sister. She is an amazing lady and of course I now know will be busy busy doing food for everyone for Sunday. Tell her I am also hosting my sisters DIL's 30th birthday party on Sunday. I am very much hoping it will be outside if the weather improves.

I really like crumpets so I'll have one of those please. Door-curtains do a thin version so better for our waistlines. Just have to make sure we don't eat extra!

The builders had to manage on there own yesterday I felt a bit bad but Lucy had another seizure and her flatmate had to go to work. I had to cry off the food bank too which I love😕but you have to get your priorities right. I phoned Ep Nurse Specialist and had a chat to speed up her appt with consultant neurologist it's been YEARS since her last FTF.

Good news though I am booked in for my steroid jab on Wednesday afternoon. If I can find Aidan's cloak of invisibility I will need you all there including Sleek. Who by the way thoroughly enjoyed coming to yours away from the 'racket' yes I know what words she uses😣 sorry Kari's old cat Darcey used to swear like a trouper. She will be over later I have no doubt at all.

I am so glad to hear that your sweet peas are ok with this persistent rain and that one orange blossom is ok fingers crossed for the other. Maybe no broad beans but the flowers were good for you and the bees🐝

I will brig any spare food from Sunday's 'do' as i am sure will Bosh (although with BIL I doubt there will be much) and pop it into the café fridge I promise.

Hi All,

Sorry, I have been MIA the PsA got me! I woke up last Tuesday not able to breathe, the chest infection which had been coming and going had come for good!

So I spent the week in and out of bed and hospital to get it sorted, feeling guilty because I was off sick and sleeping! god I do not think I have ever slept so much lol.

I am back at work today still coughing up rubbish but feeling less ++ *****

Just as I was getting back to a new norm my daughter's new husband of 8 months decided to get caught sexting !! so more drama for us to deal with!

How are you all? I have missed the chat on here and having you all in my daily routine, I hope you have all been behaving!!!

Hi all 👋 Hope everyone's day is going as well as possible.

Oh 'eck poor Lucy frog not again 😧, I hope she can be seen by the right people & at the right time 😔. Sorry you are having rather a never rains but it pours time of things at the moment. Hope all went well with the workmen in your absence & everything else is ok. Weds afternoon, right, will make myself available 👍️. Not much doing with me today, have had a potter in the garden, quite pleasant out haven't done a lot though. Quick pic of a petunia out, the surfinia trailing type, didn't photograph all that well; hard to get the colour to pick up, such a pretty, subtle lime. I bought these as plugs but the other things in with it are mine from seed, lupins &c, which is why everything will flower all out of synch with the rest I daresay but never mind. Agapanthus are nearly out. Sleek will be back with you by now, I have had a sneaky preview of Sunday's menu, she pronounced it very nice but not enough salmon for her liking 🐠. Hope everything else as well as poss :) xx

So right now there’s this uneven long and thick bit of hair on my neck that I have to keep pinning up when I’m hot - ookey 😱

BR is doing well at nursery according to his report - he was playing the “seaside game” and very kindly shared his buckets of sand and water with a lady baby - unlike LA of course whose first words according to mum were “ not yours, mine!” - oh dear
I saw the pic of BR sharing, he was offering the buckets with a gentle expression full of concentration aww ❤️

Door - curtains are a great brand, but I can’t always eat crumpets, unfortunately they can sometimes upset my stomach.

There was just a tiny bit of rain today.

Fear not, as one of the plant-murderers chopped-off stalks is now recovering, he may be able to have his sentence commuted to something slightly less severe. And think himself very fortunate if you ask me. Good luck in advance for the HD, I used to be a fan of layers in fact but these days it's more a case of grow it long as insurance, in the event I ever lose enough to need the lengths to make a basket-weave effect on top 😄 but yes I definitely pin it up and save it being hot & annoying round neck myself, can't actually imagine wearing it down at the moment, it would just go rogue and do unauthorized things 😱. Have a good night - btw have just taken £3.99 on nosegay and spent £6, that's not the right way round is it 😳 there may be a temporary biccies shortfall.. xx

Looks good? the floor is no longer soggy and uneven and the shower base is really non slip a slight lip but manageable I think.

I absolutely cannot wait for my shoulder jab, but to be fair am very glad it is after Sunday's 'do' as you need to to over-use it for a day or so don't you? We will be having all sorts to eat as you know (Sleek!). Including some Philippine dishes C/O the birthday girl. We will obviously also be celebrating the imminent arrival of another member of the family as well☺️

Well My little girl (Sleek) is getting ready to come over she fancies baking if you are up to it - some salmon vol-au-vents🤭 Guess what she said 'hello' to the main builder yesterday afternoon! She actually does meow so it sounds like 'hello' but to do so with an upright tail to one of the 'men'! wow!

My SIL does not know what has hit him and, to be honest, I am surprised how my daughter has dealt with it, she is stronger than I thought, they are going to work through and Kayleigh definitely has her rules he needs to follow lol I won't be so forgiving and neither will her twin sister but he knows that I am Irish and we do not forgive these things easily.

Den was disappointed with the harvest but with the weather we have had nothing was to be done, you do taste the difference for sure.

NO, we never do hun, and it gets harder I just wanted to run to her and beat the crap out of him lol

My order with the rug &c is due in a bit frog hence the early visit 👋 am currently having a slight artistic crisis with the wardrobe 🤭 wrong word really more of a crossroads, more on that later. I love your bathroom floor! Very me, as you can imagine, the colour looks great on my phone, look forward to a closer look on the pc at the shower etc. Haven't they got on well now 😊 and have even been spoken to by Sleek, that's brilliant what an honour 😸. I expect as the bath isn't a 'corner' now you will get that little extra space too 👍. I would be very pleased with it looking so nice at this stage 😀. Thank you about the little Petunia, and yes I do think about 'lovely view from up here', these things go in your head and stay there don't they, like 'learn to swim, young man' 😂. Hope things go ok with you today and glad to hear Lucy's had some prompt advice and med changes, fingers crossed. I also hope you can entertain al fresco to borrow the phrase back, I have covid somewhat to the front of my mind lately and for that alone it would be good, not to be too D&G (nod to Keef here). Morning @sandeelilly , just spotted you 👋 I am glad you are feeling more like yourself. I must say I do miss getting over something & having that proper return to health feeling, whereas with an underlying condition there is never quite that feeling to look forward to is there, sigh😔. Glad work is ok/tolerable whichever. Yes builders, wish I needed nothing to do with them, these were my good ones that were being the problem too 🙄. Not very many spuds for me either; they are done now, they were fine but I hoped would be more - might try a different variety as well as bearing the weather in mind, other things have suffered this year too. But I did keep the slugs/snails off my runner beans, some you win. Quiet weekend for me thanks, bit of gardening if poss & a few indoor projects. That HD pic is brilliant bosh 😂 . Gosh no I can't sell them any of mine I'd like some more myself if it's going spare, it's not the glorious mane it used to be (artistic licence) sadly. Sorry I missed you earlier at cup of morning tea time, it's been my day for just missing people like going round revolving doors. Sorry your mum had a low bs morning, hope she has a better night & morning tomorrow. Just read a story about flying ants being about today, giving out warnings about sealing up every crack & crevice in your house; the headline only said something about all households being warned to close their doors & windows I thought it was something far worse 🙄 there's always a flying ant day can't remember it ever being made anything of, I've been in the front garden til 8pm didn't see a thing 🤷‍♀️. Hadrian's wall is still not quite finished eek but the bricks are all there, good luck getting a strimmer to chew those up it would break its 'teeth' hopefully. Not much else going on here; look what the delivery driver did to my plant pot on its way here, not exactly circular any more is it poor thing 😣 the bin men annoyed me today too, they've developed this habit of opening my bin and transferring my bags into my neighbours, well I wish they wouldn't and they left one behind 🤔 a lesser person than I would put something ookey on top deliberately next time. And another driver tapped & then left a parcel on my doorstep without putting a note in, if I'd been in the garden and not heard I might not have found it til next morning. So there is a long list in my bad books today, wonder if it's 'smile sweetly say nothing' Saturday tomorrow or if I can get away with glowering at a few people 😉. Perhaps just stay indoors is safest away from any overenthusiastic door to door avocado-facial beauticians 😱. Have a good night :) xx

Thank you for asking Lucy is doing ok so far hope the extra meds does the job. Kari is doing so well reduced some of her MH meds not all of them as you know that is probably not possible, but she is doing so well. She has lost so much weigh and is even running! Yes running every Saturday morning the 'park-run'! She's left me behind well and truly! She does want me to keep a close eye on her though.

It's just the right shoulder the left is ok although a little sore due to doing a lot more work because of this one. Thanks for saying it will be fine I'm sure it will be😊 Your HD appt might be more scary. I think you need to tell him that the layers make it too hard to tie up when it's hot. I shall ask Toady to write you a note. Like LA's mummy does for him at school no doubt.

I am very impressed that your Dad is helping your Mum with the food for tomorrow! I am doing mine single handed although Kari and her DIL will be bringing food too. An ark sized broke! BIL will be happy Wow! I am making non-alcoholic punch for my guests there will be diet lemonade too or tea or coffee.

Not football⚽ as you know but Kari's DIL's 30th and a bit of a baby-on-the-way to join the family do. 15 of us I think. The mess underneath was Paul sweeping up leaves at my request so the seats aren't totally covered in debris.

Could you please write a note for Bosh for the hairdresser she doesn't want 'layers' I should have said I refused them years ago, but I had Kari with me to back me up.

I have my jumper (yes jumper) on inside out. It has to say there till noon so my Mum would have said. What shall I do? I look as stoopid as I feel! A bit like that tome I went out with odd boots on.😣

I am very pleased with the bathroom so far yes the builder is a lovely man he did his back in like I did about 4 years ago and still has a draggy leg. He loves Sleek and can't believe she is 15. She is getting used to him just doesn't like it when he cuts tiles. They are that colour. Aren't they fabulous. He has saved some spare wall tiles so all will match in. I hope the 'normal(ish - Paul chose it) bath will render us with more space ☺️ I was thinking that the photo makes it look really big ATM.

There were some great adverts back in the day. We were commenting, last night, how our parents would be horrified with today's adverts. For all sorts of rather 'private' items you know what l mean.

Al fresco is my plan for tomorrow 100% I'm sure it will be fine and much safer all round for me and Annie, being 'with child' and the two diabetics. Annie and birthday girl too.
