Hi all 😊 much more bearable temps today (nearly wrote tempo, that would have had you wondering what I was on about 🤔).

Oh not two flu's frog, blah that's so unfair 🙄 poor everybody, what a wretched nuisance it is, well more than a nuisance horrid germs. Hope everyone is as well as can be and getting by somehow between them. With your help, poor you too, really hope little Arya is ok 😟🤞. Happy to have extra Sleek of course, a warm cat in a onesie is more than welcome this weather 😽 we are just deciding what to watch on iplayer. Would have been in the here sooner if I had not just lost a chunk of time because my laptop BSOD'd on me 😣. Have got the tabs down to well under half, hopefully can manage the remainder from here - the browser will still work after tomorrow apparently but not the addons (on which I rely 😕). Glad to see someone is working efficiently - I see Paul is employing the PAYE system, Please Ask Your Elf 😄. My eyes are closing today tbh even without the after-effects of brandy, glad I haven't much to do. Yes I agree about the BGB date, that's probably why I think it is later 🐦️. Hello Joan, hmm links in emails 🤔 if you click on it so it opens in your browser, can you just bookmark it? I think ipads use 'Safari' browser am I right 🤔 and I don't know much about them. I hardly ever shut down my laptop completely which is a bad habit but it does mean the Cafe tab is open when I turn back on from hibernating, mine looks like this in Chrome:

The tab is open at the top but even if I did close the browser and start from scratch I keep the Cafe on the 'bookmarks bar' where I can click it straight away from there. Bookmarks on Chrome is by clicking the star til it turns blue, not sure what it's like on yours (sorry if I'm just telling you things you know! 😳). Hope you get it sorted. Brilliant that you have your trousers 😳👍️ yes warm and more comfortable. Much less cold today here, have a good evening 😘 xx

Wave to bosh 👋 how was your gastric oracle overnight - mine was not happy and I didn't even have any pizza 🙄 this is one thing I am really really going to have to tackle this year (I always say 😳). Hope everyone else ok today. I loved the wired phone and clever caption, wired for me please not even any of these new fangled DECT things, let alone mobiles 😄. Hi @Jojo_16 you are doing well to carry on with work I hope you have got the balance just about right; not easy 😔. As frogmorton said I'm a longstanding RA person, my joints etc are under ok control I find the tiredness the worst 🙄. Hope you have good consultants etc 🤞 glad to hear you are having a good break coming up. xx

Cat food at 4 eh Stuart ⏰ well they would have been pleased at early breakfast but hard lines for you, 4am is never much fun neither one thing or another, I was up having tea myself. Hope tonight is better 👍️ xx

Hi toady yeah I'm trying to balance work and rest but when I'm at work I just feel like I have to push myself too hard sometimes and I still haven't told work so I'm just trying to push though all the time don't reliaise how hard I work till the pains come and yeah the tiredness is draining at times hopefully sometime soon I will get a phisyo appointment I'm still waiting to hear from them all the doctors have done so far is giving me tablets to take.

Last night I Felt terrible. No time to do ablutions or walk and my back was hurting so much. Luckily I’m feeling a lot better now.

Also freezing cold in the party hall and mum wasn’t wearing the right type of coat.

She said I was nagging her and she wouldn’t wear a hat until the last minute when I gave her one of my hats to wear for a while
she is still in a bit of a strop today but maybe she still has some backache I don’t know sometimes it’s hard to get information out of Mum

She said she had backache yesterday from the bad seats

Yes I wrote “good afternoon” because it was afternoon when I started the message lol

BR had a great time, but was a bit sad at the end because Celeste stole one of his glittery balloons, he had his own balloon however, so a kind of balloon fever had gripped him, I saw quite a few lady babies playing with the coveted items, never covet the host’s balloon - I know- just basic morality really, but things were getting heated in the bouncy castle and it’s surrounds

LA was a good boy mostly, he did indeed look after his brother for a while

Food was cheese - rich and greasy 🤢🤢

I started feeling unwell but I drank a lot of water and somehow it worked

Poor baby’s parents I hope they get better soon

Thanks I will praise the cake - baker and see if she’ll accept an order - she’s a lawyer so she’s more comfortable with giving orders haha - don’t tell her I said that 🤐

Mums is generally ok thanks - apart from a bit of possible backache

Sorry I know this is a haphazard message and not a proper reply but it may have to do for now unfortunately

A very quick post to you all!

I need an extra pair of hands but might yet get on properly later.

Baby hardly slept overnight so I am exhausted too😫 I may have to operate the 'sleep when the baby sleeps' plan today methinks.

I am being super careful not to catch flu if baby is harboring it which is possible Reshmi.

Elfie is helping make up bottles. Sleek is preparing to spend the day at Toady's!!!!

Thanks Jojo just made up a couple of bottles but I am exhausted!. It's been 25 years since I last did this! My shoulder is definitely not up to it easily, but she is a sweet little girl (12 weeks) and it's a privilege to have her here so making the most of it.

Rest up yourself - in fact if you've got a mo pop over here while I get a nap!!!!

Oh bless they are cute it's when they start giving you attitude when they are older is hard but I wouldn't give up been a mother for the world I love my kids more than anything. I'm trying to rest when the kids go to school but I do have the big guinea pig cage to clean out

Hope the patients are as well as poss frog and of course those of you holding the fort 🤞 thinking of you hope you have snatched a nap. Sleek is being a model guest, seeing as she was here I made us vegan cottage pie carrots & petit pois & gravy 🍴 she is now leafing through my extensive fashion magazine collection 🤭. Everything fine here still chilly but not awful by any means. Kettle on now tea anytime 😘 xx

Hello Joan, yes we could tell something had happened to your post yesterday we know you would say hello to everyone. Hope the cafe will now stay somewhere you can find it 😊. I do think it's pretty cold still, yes 😬 it's just not quite so impossible to do anything. Did you see a pair of Eric Morecambe's glasses sold for £20,000 (in a sale with other of his things). Hi bosh, I loved reading about the party (easy for me to say sitting here), balloon fever is very funny and what you said about basic morality and covetousness 😂😂. Glad to see you survived the cold hall and the rich food to make it into the cafe today as usual, hope your mum's aches etc from cold & sitting are better now. Sounds like you are quite early on in your RA diagnosis & treatment etc Jojo so hopefully lots of scope for being helped with it and your symptoms. Joan (dachshund) was quick to pick up on the fact you have twins, even though you said they are both 8, that passed me by - I don't have children (or pets these days, I love cats and dogs though I wish I knew more people with animals, it is an ongoing flight of fancy that I 'borrow' frogmorton's cat, as you'll have noticed 🤭). As for explaining my inspiration for the poem, I had a dream about baked beans lol

Toady’s neighbours need no introduction

Pear phone sound settings were comparable to a “ noisy restaurant”

Also I’m going to try getting up early for group tomorrow

poem by me called “The Phantom Neighbours’ Noisy Restaurant”
Toady’s phantom neighbours decided to cause more disruption
To make the Midlands’ volcano get angry in the form of another fiery eruption
So they opened up a new eating place
Serving R Brek, cinnamon tea and baked beans
Did they try to be as quiet and considerate as possible? By no means
They would happily slam teapots cutlery and bowls down on the table
And poor toady’s nerves became anything but stable
Evil Celeste - the - balloon- thief was moved to tender emotion
She offered toady the sacred balloon in innocent, concerned devotion
Unfortunately, Bill had scoffed all the R Brek he could find in leftover bowls
But toady managed to feast on the herbal tea and baked beans those culinary saviours of souls
