Its what my mum used to call a currant slice, you make it in one big slab, and when it is baking the currants make a noise, hence the name.

Actually Jan-Jan, I can do Indian Head massage - well after a fashion. It was part of a course I did years ago. Used to do it to Frank, and he loved it........the head massage!!!! Would play Theme from a Summer Place - one of his all time faves - and it would put him to sleep...........Ange.x.

its cold & windy here. Keep shutting the doors on the garden room & the dog keeps opening the doors again :shock: :roll: Sounds like its going to blow away & the howling noises coming from out there :shock:

good evening all, thanks to those who've replied to me, forgive me for not doing individual posts but I'm doing this from my mobile up here and it's not as easy as when I'm at home on the pc..
Those of you with aches and pains, I'm sending hippy style healing thoughts from the forest..

It sounds like the cabin is going to explode at the minute, the wind has really picked up tonight.. We were supposed to be going to the observatory up here this evening, was really looking forward tho it too, it's not open to the public that much, no point even trying to get there though, I'm sure there would be nothing to see.. I wish we could have gone last night, the sky was crystal clear, had lovely views of the milky way with the naked eye so can only imagine how cool it would have been up there.. Never mind, I saw 6 shooting stars anyway..
