Hello Mig, nice to see you back.
First, my mammogram result came back ALL CLEAR.
Secondly, I have downloaded a new (free) app on my iPad. Also available on iPhone, and Android pones or tablet. It's called Escape Pain and it's for those with Osteoarthritis of the knee and/or hip. It's full of videos, and exercises to lessen your pain and improve your mobility. I'm giving it a try.
I think we are all going to be donning as many new outfits in Alpaca wool as we can manage. Socks and gloves for me please Carol, and maybe some wellies too.
Toni, peaches and cream drink. Yummy. I can just imagine Lucy in a big baggy T-shirt but no hair. She must have looked so sweet.
Big hugs to everyone. xxx"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all - yes, I have run out of hours again, so I will write later. I didn't want to miss putting some nibbles out for afternoon T, I would never be forgiven. XXX till later Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Well it is now nearly morning again.  Not quite sure where the afternoon went, but it did.
I have put the cakes in the stay fresh cooler.
Glad I am not alone with the vanishing days Toni, before you know, it is silly o clock.
A smidgen of cider would be ok, proper cider as you say, not that horrid fizzy drain cleaner stuff Pink Lady Apples, how lovely
I don't blame you for nipping round to Pom's house to meet Daughter and use the facilities
Bless, the Spaniel wanting you to come out of the look to play, they are so excitable and then some. Our neighbour across the way, they have one, she is SUCH a fuss pot.
I think we will be more nervous than Pepe and Miss Sleek, come next Thursday. Pepe said that Miss Sleek took a jar of Pendle Mist home with her, ready for the magical adventures with the brooms. Pendle does have a lot of catmosphere and atmosphere (for us humans). She can be very dark and foreboding, with clouds clinging to the tops. Then, next time you look, she is bathed in sunshine. Many mysteries surround the hill.
From the charity shop, I see, we have quite a few in town, they must have been noseying from the castle, looking down onto the town and deciding where to go next. His pocket money has all gone for this week, I think they buy treats when they are out, I noticed a fish and chip box, in the bin, with the left overs of a Haddock  Mainly the batter.
Ah, that's lovely and also sad too, about Lucy loving Dobby and wearing the big T shirt. I like Dobby too.
So the fitbit bases sleep on GPS and heart rate, as in slowing down at night etc. Well, it would have a fit with mine, if I have a heartbeat of 50-60 that is high for me, mid day, after umpteen coffee's. I remember after one of my cardiac catheters, my pulse was 32, the monitors were going nuts and they were ready for pushing gelofusin, but when I saw how low it was I think the shock made it go back up
As for the GPS, it would not know where I was, throwing myself about, legs dancing, cats all over.............oh the joys of sleep.
Sorry you had a rough night, everything is that much more yuck in the middle of the night.
Yep, B has started on his commission, you are right. I can see gemstones and hear wire snips and then all the lights in creation going on, to find something that has gone flying. :?
I cannot even think of how to spell Wilhemena (is that right), but I am very glad she is happy and settling in nicely. I am sure Pom will assist with the pruning, come August, we look forward to all the lovely flowers, maybe we will get one on our bigger wisteria next year. You think oh, a flower strand is growing, but then realise it is a new little branch, with leaves..................sigh.
Good to hear that everyone is ok and Happy Birthday to Paul's Mum, way to go Mum, doing great, all credit to you :cake:
Thank you for checking in on the lovelies in the zoo. Of course, the glass roof, I forgot to close it, so I was heating the sky last night  I think the Llamas are arriving sometime this week, not sure when, Dr Doolittle has it all in hand.
Hi there Joan, we could have sent some rain down south to you, we had it in abundance. I don't mind rain, it never bothers me really.
Hope you Sue and the lovely doggies are all ok. Any news from the Association re the heating system?
Hi Barbara good that you have no wet wires, so far, touch wood. It has been overcast here, but the rain has abated.
do you think so Barbara, a house in Scotland, with a huge Jewellery studio for B to be busy away in. Well, all things are possible I guess.
You take care with the leaflets, let the kindly man help out. Worrying, I know, it's my job.
Glad you liked the breakfast, I think I will put breakfast out every night, as long as I remember  You are not alone in staring at the screen and just going into another world.
Miss Sleek and Pepe posh paws do get up to some adventures. Apparently he can do an emergency stop now, without flying off into the fir trees  Miss Sleek is still all at sea with her Hero and they do touch whiskers, bless.
I would never get to the south coast, unless it was by plane and I won't fly again. Driving would be a no no, B would and could not do it and I would have to get out and potter every 40 minutes or so, it would take us days to get there.
Hope you had a nice meet up with your friends, at the GC, coffee and scones?
Hi there Mig, nice to see you and glad you are ok, apart from being a bit soaked with the rain.
Hi Kath, I noticed on FB that your Mammogram was all good. Very pleasing news.
I will have a look at the app you mention, sounds interesting.
Alpaca wellies, well, why not, save you getting wet on the Sawley Trail. I know you shelter under the Gazebo, but anything to help keep you dry.
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin - Christine - Charrisse - Elizabeth -
Christine will be on countdown now, well and truly............ :bee:
Right, let me go see what is for breakfast and wish everyone a good night XXX Aidan
Now, breakfast - a tasty vegetarian one today
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning. Might grab a few nibbles. The whole body feels inflamed at the moments, hands are not good, ankles are puffy, scalp hurts. Thank goodness it's Friday and yes, you guessed right I'm off to a sports competition. Will just let the football coach get on with it.
Can I send Jeri over for some flying lessons. She keeps falling off her broom, she is such a clumsy one.
Let us know how you get on with the exercises Kathleen. I find swimming keeps my joints moving.
Oh dear train has arrived in London so better go. Could sit in my little corner all day!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
For anyone interested, the exercises are helping my hip and knee. Kerrsa, I can't swim at all. I had private lessons as a child, but even with a canvass belt around my waist attached to ropes, a lifebuoy on top of that, and a cork float - I still sank. The teacher sent me home and forbade me to come back.
Aidan, my pulse rate is around 70, but nobody seems concerned."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Of course Jeri is welcome to have some flying lessons Kerrin. Diddicat will be over at the weekend with Pepe.....they have an idea about her slipping off. There is a kind of saddle she can use. They will bring one along. Pepe fell off a few times at first and even Miss Sleek can if the weather is iffy.
As for you - a serious rest is in order this weekend for you and I mean it. YOU come first.
Aidan this morning has flown! I have stripped and remade our bed in stages with the help of Charley. Couldn't have done it without that lovely breakfast though I am so grateful that there was one of the swan pastries left when I popped in after choir last night
Jack is a lovely dog He doesn't like everyone. Pom said usually she is the only person he calls out of the loo like that What a compliment. Diddi said I can stroke him, but to remember dogs are intellectually challenged
Oh yes fish and chips always without the batter. Sleek's pocket money is all gone too  Good job she gets hers on a Caturday.
Miss Sleek did indeed bring a large jar of Pendle mist home with her. She has secreted it behind the marmalade :? . She has plans for it without a doubt.
Gosh your heart-rate it slow  I hope the cats don't read this otherwise they will be planning medication with their magic and it might not have a good outcome. Do you have low BP too?
Last night was much better so no need to worry about me I am fine
I know what you mean we have lots of strands, but they could easily be future branches on Wilhelmina. No idea how to spell it other than there is an H. Pom has a great many flowers on her Wisteria so she must be an expert
I bet B has been a busy :bee: with his beads working on his commission. Has he got a 'daylight' bulb? That would help him very much if he hasn't :?
I didn't realise you had left the glass roof open. Today is much better weather-wise. Oh let me know when the Llamas are coming I can't wait to see them
Kath I am OVER THE MOON to hear your results are clear yippee!!!!
That ap sounds interesting - I am so glad it helps - you could post about it in LWA to help others in the same position
70 is an ok pulse isn't it?? :? I hope....
NO Swimming for you
Ah yes Lucy did look sweet very frail though, but tiny then she'd stand up (on her crutches) and everyone would be shocked as she's 5' 5 and 1/2" inches, much taller than her Mum.
mig!! Hello to you!! So lovely to see you I hope you are well?
Barbara I wouldn't want you putting on leaflets incase anyone was nasty. I think the neighbour is fitter an stronger.
The cider was ok, but it was too strong for me - not fizzy it was too posh for that. Next week we have another one to finish off :?
I hope you enjoyed meeting up with your friends
I agree with you Joan - where would we be without our pickup sticks? I use it for litter too to keep the village tidy
See you all later!
Love

Morning all good to see you in the cafe Mig..
Aiden we didnt have more wet wires in the box down the rd..but we had a power cut around 4 30..till 8...I was thinking what we did without electrics..I don't remember ..honest.. but think I will invest in a wind up radio.. Like you say who knows you might just get to Scotland ..Pepe doing an emergency stop ..would love to see its fur flying out and its eyes popping..lovely breakfast and tea by the way I love the swan pastries same here with long drives ..we would never land with all the stops.. I dont have a clue with pulse and heat rates..suppose with you nursing all those years you know too much...
Toni..don't worry not I am brave enough to put leaflets on cars..our neighbour has done one only because it was full on the pavement..I think with Poms help you will have lots of flowers on W..how lovely that the doggie like you so much ..they do have this sense has to who they can trust..
Kerrin you have a restful weekend ..not always good to exercise when feeling like you are..hope you have an easy day of the sports..so Jeri is into flying..we had better watch our heads..
Kath I am so very pleased your mammogram results are ok, it must seem like a long wait for you..I know I am on edge with the waiting
Joan hope you are ok not seen you about today...

hi all, well, the day has gone, again...................will write later, but I had better leave something to nibble on until later, keep the wolf from the door.
XXX to all, Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Jeri will look out for Diddicat and Pepe, but I'm warning you she is a tough customer. Her nickname is not minxie for nothing. Tom often just shakes his head and maintains that they are not really twins.
Another busy day at the mad house. Football was rubbish, team underperformed and frustrated their teachers. Then a fight between adults on the bus. And it's now official that out head is leaving in September which could mean some changes. We do have a super head as well so won't change too much.
I also have a low heart rate, normally around 60. Always has been. Tomorrow is a rest and plan wedding day, then redfish a tennis tournament Sunday afternoon.
Fish and chips yummy. Even better at the seaside.
I'm lucky I'm a natural swimmer. Growing up in SA, could swim by the age of 4 and have always been a water baby. So taking up swimming again when I could no longer play tennis was a natural choice.
Those pick up sticks sound like a good idea. I see me needing one soon the way my ole body is going.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
Kerrin you can get really good with a pick up stick....and possibly a bit lazy too I just went for a walk up the village and did a litter pick with my outside one, (bought from Home bargains or B&M cheap. I found a whole boot  The old boy up the road is keeping his eye out for a one legged man
Your weekend sounds full - make sure you lie in and rest as much as you can :? Your pulse at 60 is ok and a sign I think that you are fit which you are aren't you?
Miss Sleek takes no nonsense so hopefully will manage the challenging Miss Jeri. Pepe might not be brave, but he is THERE. They will be able to help her I'm sure. She sounds and ideal flying cat in my opinion.
OMG!!!! Aidan - blackforest gateau!!! sigh...I have missed it so much!!! Don't expect me to share will you
Barbara I am glad you aren't leafleting and good that the first car has had it's leaflet. Were you nervously waiting for the owner to return :? :? :?
I do like certain dogs so long as they have good natures and Pom's doggie is a proper sweetie. Like his Mum
How exiting having Niamh on Wednesdays I hope she copes ok with her Mummy working. You need two wages these days.
I will go and post on your thread about the ap Kath
Love to everyone

Hello Barbara Mig Kathleen Aidan Toni Kerrin. and anyone else I missed
Barbara you are doing a good job that's a bad road.
Mig it's nice to hear from you.
Kathleen that's good having the all clear.
Adrian I hope everyone is getting on alright. heating still working.
Toni how is Lucy's hip. how is your pain.
Kerrin. is the weekend a time for rest for you.
have a good weekend everyone
take care all

Evening to everyone, phew, here before midnight, whatever next... :?
Help yourself to the nibbles Kerrin while I send lots of good vibrations to send those horrid inflamed hands and feet away. Sometimes, even your skin hurts and you don't know why. Not pleasant at all. I hope you managed to delegate and let the Coach take the reigns.
Of course Jeri can have flying lessons, we can have thick hessian wrapped onto the broomstick, that will give those claws something to grip onto nice and tight. I guess Miss Sleek will be on her way, after picking Pepe up.
Hope you don't have to go into Waterloo, that station seems like chaos at the moment, according to the press. Have a good rest up this week end, serious recharge of the batteries.
Hi Kath, of course we are interested so glad that the exercises are helping with your knee and hip. A pulse of 70 is fine, text book normal
Oh dear, being banned from swimming lessons, sinking like a brick. You must have looked a bobby dazzler with all that equipment attached to you   I am saying this, one who has not been in a pool for what, 9 years plus, I would more than likely be as buoyant as a lead weight
Hi Toni, ah, of course, the broomstick saddle, maybe add on the hessian as an extra thing to grip onto. I am sure they will have Jeri, flying in no time at all. Look how many times Pepe went into the fir trees
Good of Charley to help out, a wee bit of assistance goes a long way. Those cakes with the swan necks were SO nice, one has to eat those with ones little pinky up in the air,
Hope choir practice went well, was Barbara there, under the cloak?
Kind of Miss Diddicat to allow you to stroke Pom's doggie, Pepe agrees, not that he knows a dog from a horse  I am sure Miss Sleek will inform him and show pictures.
Pepe will have to wait until next week for his pocket money. Maybe Miss Slimkins will take pity on him and buy a fish to share. I think they have some adventure planned for the week end. No idea where.
I wonder what Diddicat is going to do with her Pendle Mist, it has lots of powers, (only for good though).
Yes, my BP is low too, but my Cardio is quite happy for that and also the low pulse. I have to watch for postural hypotension sometimes.
I think it is growing time for the wisteria's, they are sending out feelers in all directions. We will be guided by Pom, who has an enviable wisteria.
B has been busy and is busy again, with chain mail roses and beads and all sorts of things. He has a very good light, he did mention a daylight bulb, not sure what is in the work light.
I think the Llamas are coming on Monday, as far as I can gather. They will be ok with the Alpacas, I hope :? we don't want spitting and anti social behaviour.
I am with you on the worries about Barbara putting out leaflets, some folks are just plain nasty. There is the Lady herself.............
You had a power cut this time, what is happening there Barbara? When ours went off the other week, we had to go out. No tv, no internet, no tennis
When we had the regular cuts, in the 70's, we used to talk and play games, by candle light. A lot of people don't talk to each other now, they are glued to their phones or the x box etc.
Yes, those wind up radio's are supposed to be really good, quite how long you have to wind them up for I don't know. Would we be too exhausted to listen to it, by the time it was working
Those swan pastries were lovely, I will have to see if there are any more I can gather for another day. Very fancy.
Yes Pepe is fine with his stopping on a sixpence now, Miss Sleek has taught him well and has had to prize him from the trees on more than one occasion  :? His anti nausea tail band is working well and he has done a couple of loop the loops  Not sure if that is a requirement for his test on Thursday.
You are right, sometimes it is best not to know about medical "things". Hence nurses and Drs do not make the best patients.
I know you are brave enough, but I think we were both worrying about people being unpleasant towards you.
That will be nice for Niamh to come after school, have been meaning to ask. Oh bless, Prom dress and all growing up, nothing wrong with being a little teary.
Hi there again Kerrin, so Jeri is a tough cookie, that will be Pepe being a whimp then, lol. I am sure Miss Sleek will encourage appropriate manners and catiquet, after all Jeri wants to master the broomstick Is Tom no wanting to come flying? Or has he disowned his sibling.
Oh dear, it is all going on at school, not doing well at football, adults falling out in lumps and the Head Teacher is leaving, boy it is all up in the air.
Glad you are having a rest day and wedding planning day.
I used to enjoy swimming, way back in time. It is good for taking some of the pressure of the joints and I know you love your swims. A shame that you had to give up tennis - it is a pain, not being able to do the things we did in years gone by.
A pick up stick is essential, they are useful for lots of things, even picking tablets up when I send them flying. I use it for opening the curtains, playing with the cats, etc.........A pulse of 60 is also perfectly normal, very good.
Toni, you have been out with your grabber and found a boot. Someone is walking with a soggy foot somewhere :? :?
No, don't worry about sharing the black forest gateaux, I had one of my own already It was oh so posh if you had black forest gateaux when you went out for dinner, back in the 80's was it. that and prawn cocktails.
I will go see the article you put on, thank you, pompholyx has been an annoyance over the past couple of weeks, blisters down the side of my nails, so typing was not pleasant. They have gone now, but I know they are lurking...............
Hi Joan, good to hear that the heating is still working, hoorah. Are we still waiting for the association to come out...........this year, next year??
We went out for brunch at the antique center, which was very nice. Then popped into Tesco, nearly 3 by the time we arrived home.
Mum n Dad will pop in this morning for coffee and croissants, they were behind us in their car, so not sure where they were off to yesterday.
Right I am running out of oomph, rapidly, so I will say n night. Everyone take lots of care, Christine, Carol, Mig, Charrisse and all.
some pastries for breakfast
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Oh gosh oh my....more pastries
good job ours are calorie-free.
On the subject of food I have been experimenting with 'things' so I can have a period without milk/cheese to see whether it helps my sinuses. I have tried almond milk :? oh dear, but found a cheese (plastic, but ok in butties), and a little chocolate pot made with coconut milk and some marge. Won't be easy, but soon will be giving it a go
Indeed the swan pastries did cause the little fingers to delicately pop up
I had forgotten about the hessian!! Yes ideal they can try that first and if Jeri can't manage add in the broom-saddle, which as you know is fool-proof. Yes His Nibbs was often in the fir
Now will Pepe have to do a loop the loop on Thursday? Maybe they do have to do one aversion tactic in mid air. Could be that or swinging round a steeple who knows :? He can do both now though and yes he can stop on a sixpence even a cat treat
Miss Sleek is so proud of him you know. She thinks he is so clever. Without a doubt she will treat him to fish and chips. She says his pocket money burns a hole in his basket
Pom has two wisteria one back one front and they are WOW!! Also as you know a dog. Miss Sleek tends to be a bit dismissive of such creatures 'fawning all over people and doing tricks  Can't even go out on their own!!'
I would think OH's working light has a daylight bulb in it.
I posted on that chap's pompholyx thread too. No-one else has ever mentioned it, but if their GP has only called it eczema who knows??
Mum and Dad will be over for croissants I hope they are super-fresh so she finishes hers
Choir practise went fine Barbara was there and restricted herself to a slight hum here and there and wow!! What a whistle!!!!
Joan thank you I am trucking along ok and Lucy doesn't complain much about her hip at all bless her. How long for your boot to stay on now?

Morning all
Aiden what goodies we have ..loved the strawberry cup one.. I well we love antiques center and has long as they don't have stairs..and a lot do.. I can go around..we aim to go to Newark fair this year they hire scooters at the gate so fingers crossed its been years since we went there..I can understand you knowing to much about medical things..I wish I hadn't learned what I did when looking after mum and dad ... the people didn't appear with the car they went in the night.. we don't mind parking in the night but in the day its awful watching people walking in such a dangerous rd..
Glad to hear that B has a good light they are essential , and the magnifier ..
Toni I have 4 grabbers all cheap , they are in most rooms..good to hear that your are being put to good use..I did sort of make a noise at the church but everyone was looking around to see who was out of tune..you found one boot.. I have goats mil and almond and have got use to the taste now..
Joan glad to hear the heating is working fine..hope you are both doing ok ...did you have a little party for Lexis 7th birthday..
Kerrin what a palaver with the coach and fighting.. you enjoy organizing your wedding and all the excitement that goes with it
We are visiting BIL today to see how he is getting on , his daughter lives with him..so he has company..Aiden will know what injections he is having for his prostate...they really are helping him..
Not sure when Christine goes to Aussie...have I missed her..
Right will make a move..love to everyone ..xxxxxxxLove

Hi Joan August? That's a long time, but if it makes sure you heal properly that's ok
Barbara we went to our new favourite GC today for lunch and are surrounded by antiques while we're eating LOVLEY
I heard you singing, but the others looked round and I think decided it was an echo or maybe the swallows....
Cheap grabbers work as well as pricey ones don't they?
I tried almond and didn't like it in my coffee....do I need to make the coffee weaker??
Good to hear the naughty-parker didn't return until late.... :?
Love
Toni xx
PS Miss Slimkins was over at Aidan's earlier. they have been putting together lesson plans for Jericat.0 -
And Saturday came and went  Not even time for some cakes with afternoon T. My get up and go had got up and gone. Apologies.
So, good evening to one and all. A pleasant day, nice breeze, some sunshine, some rain this evening, fresher now.
I know, those pastries were very naughty Toni, but, as you say, all the naughtiness falls out of them in the cafe, along with the calories, so we can trough away quite merrily
I tried almond milk, once, that was more than enough. We did have the lactose free milk for a while too, that was fine. I have spotted various cheeses that are made with "other things" Some cheesesare a wee bit like memory foam, :? but as you say, ok in a buttie.
Little pinkies, popping up, of course, so refined what
I am sure Miss Sleek and Pepe posh paws will be fine with Jeri, teaching the basics of brooming, boom awareness, parallel brooming, brooming round a spire (or is that a bit advance for a first saute, maybe so). Look what happened to Pepe, he was stuck on the Church spire until Miss Diddicat came to the rescue.
I am sure there will be a loop the loop, I was thinking that they might have nets and have to catch things that Mr Potter has placed, like on a Steeple, or the Castle. Definitely something to do on Pendle Hill, catching magic items that jump out of the heather.......all very exciting.
I think they are very proud of each other, bless them. They were very close to the screen when they were skyping earlier, not quite a "kiss" but lots of googly eyes...........
With all the antics that they get up to, I am sure Miss Sleek is dismissive of Poms doggy. Having to be taken for walks, why walk when you can hop on your broomstick. I think I heard her saying she can do more tricks than any canine. Pepe agreed, but he has no clue what a doggie is. She said she would find some pictures of canines, to show him. He might faint, again........
I think it is a daylight bulb in the lamp, it is very bright  8) , he has just come out from under his desk, obviously something went ping.............head down, say nothing
He sold another necklace today, the neighbour had seen it a while back and was getting a cord for it, the agate encased in seed beads, I think I posted a pic of it. She loves it and has worn it tonight at the social club on the park. Good advertising as well
B has found a huge craft center in Preston, so we are off there tomorrow, we could come back with many things.................If it sparkles and is glitzy, I will have to have it, lol. It is a big retail park, there is a Costa and an M&S happy days.
I am glad Barbara enjoyed the choir practice, yes, what a whistle, can be heard for miles
Yes, Mum n Dad came in with the croissants, they bought them in Tesco this time and they were actually edible, wonderful with President butter and a little jam. Mum ate hers, no trouble We will meet up with them again on Monday to take them to the GC. We like Mondays there, it is nice and quiet. ALL the scones to ourselves.........and yes, I would give it a go.
Hi there Joan. The boot is stopping on quite a long time, I assume to build up your muscle tone whilst giving support at the same time. I hope it is easier to weight bear now.
Wear and tear eh, that's quite a big generalisation. We know we are worn and torn and to be fair, I guess it is difficult for Drs to come up with answers for a lot of things that Arthur throws at us.
Once we are medicated, etc etc, we kind of soldier on as best we can.
My GP calls me one of his Chronic's........... :? He has a long list of them.  I said, "does that mean hopeless case"
Have a lovely Sunday Joan, love to Sue and the doggies too.
Hi Barbara cakes, oh yes, the cakes were wonderful.
There are stairs at the antique center, it is years since I went up for a look round. B goes up and has a nosey, I just do the downstairs bit.
The fair at Newark is HUGE, one of the biggest in the UK. Ideal with the buggy.
We used to live in Newark, dad was the Vicar there, for a few years.
So the people didn't appear until the night time, who parked in the pavement. I hope they felt a little shamed. The roads are dangerous enough without having to navigate around cars that are parked without consideration.
Yes, B has a good magnifier and good glasses, for looking at miniature beads and pearls. Some of them are SO SO tiny, I can only see the tube, not the contents. He took one of his seed bead wraps apart, there was one bead that was out of line, (I could not tell) but he was not happy with it, failed quality control
I hope your visit to your BIL was good. I know of the injections and I am glad they are helping, they do have good effects, without a doubt, the neighbour opposite had them too and he is frail, but still out and about and doing ok.
I am sure Christine goes this week, or do I mean this month, oh dear, senior moment........it won't be long, I know.
It is antique time, I see you have been to the newly found GC again Toni, antiques and wonderful food, perfect companions.
Ah, Bless, Barbara singing like a swallow, that's cute, isn't it :? is it?
Oh no, don't have weak coffee and almond milk coffee must be very strong, it is the law.
All the lovelies are happy and contented in the zoo, James and Johnny are on tonight, we need two keepers on at all times now, there are so many animals to care for. I notice that Mrs Warthog, was her name Gladys? Is getting more rotund, with her pregnancy.
Well I had better do some more pottering. I hope everyone else is ok, Kerrin, getting some rest and doing Wedding planning, Carol, maybe teddy has grown since last time? Christine will be packed and ready for off.............Kath, hope you are not too ouchy.
Hi to Elizabeth and Mig and everyone else

We went on the bus to Long Eaton yesterday. We did a small shop at Iceland. I left Chris sitting at the burger stall while I walked (by myself) to the public toilets, and had a nosy around Shoe Zone. They had some lovely soft loafers. Almost bought myself a pair, but didn't bother. I might get some next week. I've had a lot of pain in my right hip, thigh, knee and ankle. Don't know if it's sciatica or what. :?
Joan, We use goat's butter all the time, and I love goat's milk and cheese, but Chris isn't keen on having it in hot drinks (milk that is). I wonder what Alpaca milk is like?
Romance is definitely in the air. I wonder what they did with the broom?"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all, yes, you guessed it, the day has gone...........
Oh dear Toni, hope the laptop fires up ok and will read your post later.
Joan has her doggies resting on the laptop, bless, how lovely, they want all the attention, like the pus cats do.
I will post another pic later of B's jewellery. Promise Barbara.
Kath that is a fabulous picture, bless them, I don't even know what the terrible duo have been up to today, while we have been out, it is a perfect day for flying................crystal clear. Hugs for the pain to ease.
Must not forget cakes, let me go see and I will write later. Nap time, take care all. XX Aidan

Evening all
Well where have the days gone, think the big black void is swallowing them all it seems to be happening to us all. the usual things have been happening here our fortnightly church meal on Thursday, our usual dinner out on Friday followed by me meeting friend in Costa for coffee all very much enjoyed. Mr T still having trouble working out how to get his new mp3 player working.  Funny thing is I treated myself to one the same make as his but a different model and I have got music downloaded onto it and using it straight away. I don't dare say it but I think someone is not reading the instructions properly as usual . I have had quite a lot of pain the last couple of days but still managed to get out and about and do the things I want to so cant complain really.
Toni So Paul like stock cars too its a shame isn't it all these stadiums closing. I think that most people these days seem to go for sports like football, formula one, rugby and that sort of thing, and the interest in the other sports is getting less and less so stadiums just cannot keep going. I too am keeping my fingers crossed in the hope that the cards can continue. Mackintoshes & scuba diving outfits on the list.
Aiden ok so now we need jumpsuits too with all these orders we will certainly need more alpacas and more knitters too I think. as well as a couple of shearers. hope the meerkats are warm and happy now, can't have them thinking there in Siberia poor things.
Putting my foot down and threatening I would go home was preferable to walking around with a grumpy old man all afternoon. .
Joan Its a shame you cannot go on a day out on your scooters it would be lovely if you could. when we were on the train on our way back from Brighton a lady got on the train with one. I am lucky in that respect that I can manage reasonably well with my rollator on the train and the bus.
Barbara dont mind sharing the alpacas at all and Waterproofs are on the lost but we need to Shear the alpacas first .
The Lanes are great . No news from the cards yet but it may take a good few weeks or months even ,the administration period only started on Thursday last.
Kathleen Firstly its good that your Mammogram was clear that's always a relief. I will have to have a look at that app Glad it has helped you. Socks Gloves and wellingtons on the list but as Aidan has said we need more than 2 alpacas more knitters too if we are to get these all done quickly.
Oh no Toni not the dreaded Laptop freeze that makes me so wild :x :x when that happens, by the time you get it working again you have to start you have lost your post and need to restart all over again.
Aidan those cakes were too too yummy.
well I must tear myself away from the cakes and put down to see all the lovelies in the zoo and give the bush babies a cuddle and check that the meerkats are not too cold and the warthogs watered and have lots of lovely mud so off I go before it gets too dark.Stay positive always👍xx0
