Morning.
Jericat was buzzing around this morning after her flying lesson yesterday. She is trying to convince Tomicat to have a go but he is worried there is no broom big enough for him! He is a big boy!
Toni, hope you enjoyed Wimbledon . My turn on Friday, just hope Mr isn't too grumpy as he doesn't like the heat. I know how crowded it can get, see us on centre court most of the time.
Another busy day (or morning) as Had two schools coming over for a mini golf competition. Went very well although was not impressed with the behaviour of our kids. Tomorrow is our big competition basketball at the London youth games.
47 years Wow! I need to survive the wedding first.
Time to drive home, then dinner and a long icy drink.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
Evening to all - a little warm, almost aglow. Weather warnings for Thursday, thunder storms and torrential rain  Mind you, I love a good storm. Two of our neighbours go to bits and have to take cover and hide, sorry, I shouldn't laugh.
Hi Kerrin, you have had another busy day and the pupils were not on good behaviour despite doing well in the competition. Stern words maybe.
I hope all is well for the big competition today at Basketball. Sending lots of positive vibes.
Jerricat was a star, as Toni said, only the hessian was needed. High praise from both Miss Sleek and Pepe, they will be down there very soon, for another lesson.
It won't be today, as Pepe is having his practical flying tests, with Mr Potter doing all the marking. :? He is a little wibbly wobbly this evening and slightly
I think Miss Slimkins will skype him overnight and she will be there for the test, while we are out at the GC. I bet we catch sight of them over Pendle Hill. We are all a bag of nerves. Could be interesting if storms are forecast. Mr Potter can sort them out though.
Tomicat can have a slightly more robust broomstick, they are very well balanced and extra weight does not slow them down. Pepe will ask Mr Potter for one today. I am sure he can conjure one up in no time.
Of course we will be seeking you out on Center Court on Friday. I think Thursday is the hottest day. Only 26 degrees in the shade on Friday  :? eek. Lots of ice creams and cooling drinks for OH. :sun: :sun:
Hope you had a safe journey home, dinner and a lovely long icy drink sounds lovely.
Take care............
PS
I loved the line, having to survive the wedding first, before the anniversaries start
I hope everyone else is doing ok. Toni will have been resting ( I trust).
Carol will have finished the teddy bear, maybe? Wonder if Mr T has his MP3 working properly now - least said, soon as mended.
Kath, I hope you are not too ouchy and managing to get out and about.
Christine, who is so near, yet so far away, will be busy with her family and keeping tabs on her GC. Hope all is well in Melbourne. Sending far reaching ((()))
Charrisse I hope you have managed to get out to your knitting group and are not in too much pain.
Elizabeth, hope all is as well as can be with you and yours.
Love to everyone else too.
We are out at the GC this morning, coffee and scones time. Mini shop and pop to the vets, for his Nibs food and the drs for some of my repeats, just a small order this time
Then the plumber will be back in the afternoon to sort out the teeny tiny leak.
Have had a quick nip round the zoo in one of the buggies, Johnny and a locum zoo keeper are on tonight. All the lovelies are doing well, the seals seem to have settled in and are happy in their night time beach area.
The Bush babies are busy with fruit and grubs, the sloths are asleep, as they often are. Owls are hooting, warthogs are grunting, meerkats are chattering, Blush is asleep in the Bamboo bushes, the Llamas and Alpaca's are settled, no spitting. The Lambs, little piggies, giraffes, cows and calf, okapis, lemurs and tapir's are all dozing. Phew, it's a big place now.
Right, time to potter. I will hang the washing on the airer, no way is the tumble dryer going on, I will faint.
Everyone take lots of care XXXX Aidan
A few things for breakfast
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Mmmm...shall I have a slice of...no I think I'll just have an omelette
Thanks Aidan
Isn't it great having buggies to go around the zoo! Everywhere there is room for two to pass easily and someone to walk alongside if needs be.
The seals are adorable aren't they? I like 'their' bit it's cool and wet, but not like the warthogs it's clean!!!
Miss Sleek was indeed on skype until the small hours when she managed to hypnotise Pepe asleep. Today is the big day, but no need to worry she is sure he will pass his practical first go.
When he passes they will be straight off down to Wimbledon tomorrow to see Kerrin and of course Jericat too
I am glad the heating purrs and of course nice to have the lovely plumber back for the tiny leak.
I had the airer on yesterday too and will again today. I just pop it outside the back door if it's sunny. No tumble dryers for us
Are we expecting thunder then? That's fair enough it has been hot. Give us the day off from watering our gardens.
Oh the solar waterer is working well I forgot to say Charley did it under my instruction  Despite helping nurse her GF's GDad who is close to passing now.
Just one or two baskets will be watered by the other water-butt which he still needs to connect  Charley!!!
As for Wimbledon! Wow wow wow!! I am so lucky it was fabulous. We all stood when we could and stretched a bit and the game was riveting, but after 3 and a half hours I was glad to move!! Did you hear about our poor linesman? He was hit at least 4 times by a ball
Ah Kerrin I am so glad to hear Jericat enjoyed her lesson bless her. Pepe and Miss slimkins reckon she is a natural, just needs to be taught theory and safety mostly. When Pepe passes his test today (and he will) they will be down you watch for them over Centre court.
You have a fabulous time just do factor 50 and hats/sunglasses and as Aidan said cool drinks (plenty of Pimms!!) and ice-cream for his nibbs
Naughty kiddies letting you down a bit with their behaviour I hope all goes well today.
A quick
to Joan who will no doubt be passing this way soon :0 I found loads of dogs steps on google Joan so Lexi can get in on her own
Love to everyone else
Toni xxx
Ps we think we're hot!! What about Christine  :shock:0 -

Morning all...phew...
Toni yes we survived..just..has you know we more or less brought out 2 eldest GC up..but Niamh is a one off.. she wants to do 34 things at once..football outside to keep her off the tablet..water pistol fights..tablet, building blocks, TV, back in garden..she wears herself out but doesn't have a nap..we did when she had gone but like I say she is so polite bless her..right back to you I watched the link 4 times and paused it just right to see you.. so glad you had a good day...good to hear the water butts and solar system are working away thanks to Charley..how lovely of her to look after her GD..
Aiden I am so happy we have buggy's for our safari park..lovely just to sit and ride around with all the animals coming to say hello.. and none are in cages..free to do what they want..the new boiler is quiet that is good ...and the plumber will be back today to sort the little leak like you say these things happen...I am terrified of thunder..we once saw an house hit by lightening..not mush damage but it has stayed with me...  I will look out for the players you mention ...nice to follow there progress..
Kerrin ..I am sure you will survive the wedding and have a lovely day..not sure when the big day is..sorry if you have said..and how frustrating for you that the school wasn't well behaved.. maybe its this warm weather.. not long till weekend..
Not sure hat today will bring ..apart from the tennis of course..loved the Nadal match yesterday..young really fought back but it hadn't to be..
Love to everyone...xxxxxx
Hello Joan just spotted you there..we did have a good few hours with Niamh most of the work done by OH.. hope you and Sue have a good day..xLove
Barbara0 -
Hi Joan you have to go in a sort of raffle for tickets and if your name gets drawn they allocate you tickets in one of the courts, but it's for the whole day. We needed to leave by about 6pm to get home for 9 so we only saw part of the next game and part of the last one. Last time we went we were in court 1 which had shade.
The good thing is they scan your tickets if you go early and locals can go in at a huge discount and the money goes to charity
Barbara I am glad to see you have survived Bless you I know you have brought up more than your share of children and can tell Niamh is a one-off. She sounds adorable and I would have had a nap after she left too what time was it she went home?
It's Charley's Gf's GD who is so very ill. He doesn't have long. Any day any minute so they are making the most of every minute with him. He's not really conscious. So distressing.
Daisycat is home and I know how Pepe got on, but she has told me I am not to utter a word on here - "It's Pepe's Dad's news" so my lips are sealed.
Lucy and are will be off to fetch some new fish as we have had one or two bereavements in recent months and the tanks is very quiet.
Love

I'm half asleep, so don't be surprised if I drift off into gobbledygook. Not really watching the tennis, but wait for the results on the news.
Joan, I rather fancy having stripes. Black, white and tan. A bit like tortoise shell.
Ooh Toni, I think I'll have an omelette too, with toasted tea cake with goats milk.
I had my donating head on yesterday. Our local Treetops Hospice, and our local Canaan Trust for the homeless. Also Hayward House Hospice at Nottingham City Hospital, plus my favourite High Ash Farm.
Bush babies her I come for some cuddles and a snooze.

YES PEPE PASSED HIS TESTS :cake: :cake:
He got a copy of H Potters mastery of magic.
Pepe and Miss Sleek also got their diploma's from Hogwarts, so they were super pleased.
They said Mr Potter was so kind and put Pepe at ease. Once Pepe had passed his test, they all had a game of quidditch on top of Pendle Hill.
They will both have their broomsticks instilled with some magic, within 24 hours, after the paperwork is registered at Hogwarts school of broomstick excellence.
Phew, glad it is all over now. It was good of Miss Sleek to send Pepe to sleep with hypnotherapy last night, ( I think it worked on all of us).
Buggies, with room to move and turn and ride side by side, very welcome.
The seals are wonderful, they are having an amazing time leaping in and out of the water, enjoying some sunshine in between. I would happily jump in with them. It is pretty warm.
Dr Doolittle and James are on today, so they are making sure all the lovelies in the zoo are being pampered, kept cool as required.
Yes, the new boiler is purring, the plumber popped in and tightened something, he said if it still seeps, he will sort it again, as we want all the taps changing in the house. I cannot turn the normal taps off very well, so we are having new ones, with lift up levers, much easier to cope with.
Just waiting for the quote now, :? :?
No dryers, here, only on cold, once the things are dry on the airer, way too warm, the AC is on full blast, thank goodness.
That is kind of Charley to help with the watering system, poor G dad, bless, it is a horrid time, when someone is so close to passing. I remember it so well with Dad. I knew, but, none of us know when. sending ((()))
I am so glad you enjoyed Wimbledon, it must be such an experience. I bet you were glad to move after 3 hours plus. I would have had to potter on court, make drinks, etc
The linesmen and ladies, do run the gauntlet with the ball, sometimes they get a real crack, most times they can manage to duck and dive out of the way. Not a job I would like, WHACK.
We will all be looking out for Kerrin. Jericat will be having another lesson from Miss Sleek and Pepe, but this time, with a little bit of magic available............
I see you have outlined how the tickets work at Wimbledon, they do raise a lot of money for charity, by re selling tickets etc.
Hi Joan, do you mean Pete Sampras, he had dark hair and won just about everything there was to win, a bit like Roger.
Hope you and Sue are managing to get out and about, with the lovely doggies.
Hi Barbara, gosh, Niamh kept you very busy indeed, no wonder you needed a nap. Bless her.
No, no cages, only safe enclosures, for the animals protection more than anything. We have vetinaray areas to tend to any medical issues. It is nice to drive around, saying hi to all the gang.
I hope you avoid the thunderstorms, lightening is so dangerous, the house was lucky to survive the strike. We had plenty of storms when we lived in France, we watched one and a lightning strike hit a large bush in the field and it just vanished in a puff of smoke   that was a little unnerving to say the least.
I think you are right with the hot weather, it makes people more grumpy, well, it does me
Donald Young really tried hard against Rafa, it was a good match. Kyle Edmund has just been beaten by Mofils Will you have the AC unit on tonight? I am sure you will, it is so warm..........
Hi Kath, you did have your charity thoughts with you yesterday. I am sure Hayward House was there when I worked at the City Hospital, the name rings a bell.
You enjoy your cuddles and snooze with the bush babies. They are very sleepy at this time of day.
Loving the puskins
I had better post this, I think I will have to put the goodies on another post, this one is full of awards to Pepe and Miss Sleek.
Everyone take lots of care, keep cool and drink plenty XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I think we had better have a picnic, with it being so warm. Wasps are not invited. xxx
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
A warm evening to one and all - hope everyone has managed to keep their cool, it has been pretty hot to say the least.
Enjoyed watching Wimbledon, people were dropping like flies with the heat, St John's were doing a sterling job, helping those overcome with the high temperatures.
I think Sue Barker said it was 30 in the shade and 40 degrees on court
Poor Mattick Sands, she broke her knee - very big OUCH, when she slipped during her match.
Delpotro is out, Federa continues his success, he seems to be playing as well as he ever has, amazing.
Kerrrin will be there today, Center Court, so eyed peeled, give us a wave if you spot a camera Take care and keep OH as cool as possible, we don't want any grumps.
Like Toni said, lots of Pimms and ice cream too.
Our AC unit stopped three times, for no reason, just went off - :? it seems ok again now, thank goodness. We got the rooms down to 20 degrees, from 27, so that was a welcome relief. It is getting a bit warm now that it is off and the windows are shut, but will be ok.
Coffee and scones were lovely at the GC. I was ok after coffee number one, by the time I had finished coffee number two, I was starting to melt and leak. I know Barbara does the same with coffee. It took me ages to cool off   But, the coffee is so good........
Today we are at the factory shop, for a nosey, then the vets, to pick up some more food for his Lordship, they only had one box on Thursday.
Then back to the Drs, my tramadol was not ordered and I did ask for it.......because it is not on my repeat, it tends to throw them into a fit. I will be having words with my GP, to add it to my ever growing lists. I have been on it for what, two years or more  Duly done, note sent to GP
Then shopping, the fridge is empty
No plans for coffee out, will have that at home instead.
Pepe is very excitable after the very high awards bestowed upon him and Miss Sleek, by Mr Potter himself. He has been carpet gliding with great speed.
I think the magic has been added to the brooms now, I can see Pepe's broomstick fizzing, around the bristles..........They are off to Wimbledon, to see Kerrin, I think the magic can make them travel at much higher speeds (safely of course). Miss Sleek said hers has the power of invisibility.............we will have to watch the do not sneak into the zoo.
All the lovelies are fine, the bush babies are up and active, as are the lemurs and Blush, grapes and fruit all over the place.
Seals are having a midnight swim, having had some mackerel and trout, from Dr Doolittle, apparently they put an order in.
The warthogs have made very good use of their mud, to keep them cool, I have filled the mud pool up, so the are happy, well, as happy as warthogs get :?
The meerkats think that it is a little chilly of an evening  I closed the roof a little, so they don't get a draught, bless.
The Llamas and Alpacas are doing just fine, they are getting on well together and a few of them are ready for shearing, so, who do we call on to do that, someone that can dodge any spitting. Knitters at the ready, once the fleeces are off.
I think Miss Sleek has sent in some meeces for the little owls, so they are hooting with joy
The Tapirs and Okapi have been in their pools, enjoying a swim. Even the sloths went in their pool for a swim and a freshen up.
It takes a long time to get round all of our animals now, including Marigold, Yack and of course Cuddles, who is asleep on her bed.
I had better have a potter about. I am getting warmer............
Love to all, Toni, Kerrin, Barbara, Joan, Christine, Elizabeth, Carol, Kath and all who may pass by for a cuppa and a cake.
I will say n night and hope people manage to rest, fans on, keeping as cool as you can. XXX Aidan
Sending lovely dreams
Now, breakfast, let me see

Morning. All awake here in anticipation of Wimbledon and the kittykins are excited about magic brooms. Couldn't have asked for much better scheduling on centre court today apart from Federer. In all my visits there never seen him play (apart from the Olympics)
Yesterday was a hot one in the indoor hall at Chrystal Palace.....but my basketball team did themselves proud. 9th in London, two good wins and 3rd match fumbles under pressure. There were some rather large kiddies there for 11 year olds!
I've come to the conclusion that my joints don't like this weather and that a side effect of meth is upset tummy 24 hours later.
Good luck with getting your tramodol from the GP. I have issues with my meth every month.
Kathleen, I feel like drifting off into gobbledygook too!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
MTX does that Kerrin amongst other things headaches nausea for some....I would take it Friday when Saturday is a non-working day. Do 'they' want you to take it Wednesday?
Well done your basketball team!! Some kids are indeed large for 11 :?
I hope you have a fabulous time today and make sure you look out for Jericat she might just be having a lesson today
Aidan you must be very proud!! Yes Mr Potter helped Pepe no end I'm glad the hypnotherapy worked (on you all) bet it didn't last night did it? Bless him he did himself and his mentor total justice
Miss Slimkins' broomstick is also fizzing :? it looks ready to go. I asked about her nipping into the zoo and she said as the magic can only be used for good....no it won't work, but was able to round up lots of extra mice for the Owls.
Poor Meerkats must have been chilly
I have had a croissant for my brekkie.
No tennis for me today I am off to the British Style Collective (Clothes show as was), in Liverpool? With Lucy. Wish me luck...I thought Wimbledon was hard work.
It was almost too hot for me so can imagine....at least centre and court 1 have shade.
Kath donating all your spare money. Bless you; worthy charities
Today's brekkie is very continental and I can vouch for the croissants freshly made and still warm.
I love the pusskins!!
Hi to Joan! I know you'll be along any minute!
Love to everyone else....all of you

Morning all..feels a little cooler..
Toni Niamh is so lovable..so that makes up for everything she left here at 7 our son was in Birmingham working so he was later getting home..I hope that Charley's GFs GD is comfortable and it not to long for him ..its is awful to have to watch them like that.. oh the clothes show..you enjoy maybe it will have air con...
Joan you are right we always say tired but happy when it come to our GC... I remember all the older tennis players..some years have been better than others..I do hope that Feddera wins this year his last one I think..or is it..
Aiden I love the certificate, you must be so proud of Pepe..bless there will be no holding them back now.. I still haven't got an air con serves me right ..once it goes cooler I think whats the point.. silly women I am..glad to hear we have buggy's to get around the zoo..its much easier to feed them this way and get to give them all attention.. you enjoy the factory shop..you never know what you will find..a picnic is very welcome ... especially with no wasp..nice to see all the animals cooling down in the lake ..but not sure the seals are to pleased..
Kerrin that is good news about your basket ball team, well done to them and you for being there ...my joints are always worse in summer..weekend now so hopefully you can rest..
Kath is giving money to charities we have certain ones we give to ..you never know these days if they are genuine..but we know the hospices do such a good job..I found you asleep this morning with a bush bay wrapped around you ..so sweet
Still not heard a thing off our MP... :x I know they are busy but its been a while now..
Looking forward to more tennis today..

:running_dog: :running_dog: :running_dog: Barbara, all the charities I donate to are fully registered. That little Bush Baby kept licking my face so I wouldn't get overheated - bless.
Aidan, Hayward House has been going years, so it probably was there when you worked there. It is specifically for Cancer patients. Treetops is in Risley, and takes anyone with a life limiting disease, you don't have to be terminally ill.
Kerrin, I think we are all conversant in Gobbledegook here. I've spoken it all my life.

Afternoon to one and all, is it my pc, or has the text etc, gone into very large print?
Hope everyone is as ok as can be, a bit cooler today, nice breeze, cloudy, just right.
Hi Kerrin - have been looking out for you during the Watson Azerenko match............they move the cameras so quick. Did I see you in red? Or was that someone else..............
Fancy not seeing Federa play, that's a pain, after so many visits. He might appear as you are walking about
I can imagine it was hot inside Crystal Palace, glad that the basketball team did well. Some 11 year olds are so tall now, we see them coming out of school sometimes and they would be taller than me
I think mtx does have a bit of a delay in its side effects, feeling sickly is horrid, is there nothing that the GP will prescribe to help with that. I can sympathise with the warm weather making everything ache and hurt even more. Barbara is the same, yet Joan is a lot better in hot weather. There is no real rhyme nor reason at all.
I did get the Tramadol from the surgery, thank you. I have not heard back from my GP, but I am sure he will add it to my endless list.
Gobbledygook, well, I think we can all talk and understand it, it is part of Arthur and fatigue etc , so we are well versed..........
Jericat will be out on the practice session today, if you see any sparkles falling down, then they are about somewhere.
Hope you have a lovely day, take care, you will need a very good rest and a very long drink.
Hi Toni, yes, we are all very proud indeed, pepe is being all nonchalant about it now, as if it was just a walk in the park. :animal_busy: he is far too busy dozing with the girls at the moment.
Two fizzing broomsticks, excellent, they are certainly ready for off. Pick up at Watford Gap and then ride tandem into London.
Magic meeces, that's fine, well done Miss Sleek.
Glad you enjoyed the croissants we aim to please.
Hope you have a great time at the clothes show in Liverpool, I like Liverpool, used to go quite often as Mum's family were all from Merseyside.
Sending extra energy, to get through the show and the travelling to and fro.
Hi Joan, yes, I remember those players, Andy Roddick was a great player, only retired last year.
Mum n Dad are ok, we had to take them shopping as Dads car was low on oil, so he didn't want to drive it. He blames the garage for leaving the dipstick half out, but I think he might have been checking it, after its recent service.............anyway, we took them out and did all our shopping, paid gas and electric, popped into the vets for more pepe food, OH popped into the Factory shop and got me some new slippers.
Hope you are both ok and the doggies are fine too.
Hi Barbara, hope it is a little cooler for you today, last night was a bit on the warm side
I am with you on wanting Roger to win, one more Grand Slam, then I think he will retire this year and dedicate all his time to the two set of twins they have. I know they travel with them, but he must want to be with them more and more now.
Miss Sleek and Pepe and Jericat will all be off in a flash now, with the magic that they have in their brooms, goodness knows what they will be up to, although they can only do good things and deeds.
I never managed it into the Factory Shop, with having Mum n Dad in tow, on a mercy mission to get engine oil, I just let B nip in and pick up my usual slippers. After all that, he was ages, chatting to one of the ladies who we know, who works there
Picnics are fine, but only wasp free ones. A lot of people sit out at the GC, but no thanks, I will stay inside, out of the sunlight and out of the way of bugs.
I am sure the seals won't mind really, the lake has been quite busy, given the warmer weather. I have had a quick drive around. The super Vet is on tonight and a locum zoo keeper, nice lady.
We always try and support the Air Ambulance whenever possible, you never know when you might need them and they do a fantastic job - quite why they cannot be funded by central Govt is beyond me, but, best not get into politics.
Maybe a reminder email to the MP, just to say you were concerned that your original letter had gone astray? I have used that one a few times 8)
Tennis is good, we are catching up, Heather Watson has just lost Good match though.
Hi Kath So you fell asleep with the Bush Babies, how cute is that, licking you, to keep you cool, they are kind. I bet you are all sticky from the fruit juice
Yes, I do remember Haywood House, it was up and running when I worked at City Hospital. I don't recall Treetops in Risley though. I loved it at City Hospital, that main corridor is one of the longest walks EVER.
Yes, we all understand gobbledygook, fully bi lingual.
Well time is a marching, hopefully nap time will be a little cooler today, all the fans are on, windows open, breezes coming through.
Hi to everyone else, Carol, Christine, Mig, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.
It must be time for afternoon T. Everyone take lots of care XXXX Aidan

I didnt know Federra had two sets of twins, I remember seeing the first 2 watching there daddy play..blimey hope his wife gets plenty of help..glad you got hold of the tramadol ..
Kerrin sorry I forgot you was going to Wimbledon today ..you enjoy
Sorry this is short but tennis to watch..

Glad it is not just me, the forum has gone a little squiffy, with scripting in the top left.
I am sure the mods will alert the web wizards and they will bring it back to normal.
I bet it is the magic in the broomsticks
Later, tennis to catch up on.....................XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening all
missed you all yesterday but I was so tired and kept falling asleep only had 2 hours sleep on Wednesday night was awake from 1am and just could not go back to sleep no matter how much I tried, and all because of a very small graze on my shin at the front of my ankle that kept twitching and kept me awake. was ok last night and I didn't get up till 8am this morning which for me is a lie in.
have just had a quick buggy ride around the zoo all seems quite and orderly the owls were having a little hoot to one another but that was all.
Aidan no not cake for the anniversary but we had a jolly good three course meal at a local restaurant around the corner from us. Mr T has not touched the mp3 player since i got mine and got it going he says he has been too busy. I did prove my mum wrong indeed Teddy now needs ears and her dress I didn't do any knitting today as I my friend could not make our usual coffee afternoon.
Toni think maybe mum would have been pleased we proved her wrong but what she would have though about the name change I don't know. know my dad would have been pleased for both especiall y bringing my maiden name back into our name, but he passed away before mr T was even on the scene I was only 18 when he passed away.
Barbara don't think it was a soft spot for mum with mr t as he couldn't stand her really just put up with her for my sake. and congratulations on nearly 48 yrs.
kerrin I too wonder sometimes how iv'e survived 47 years of marriage but i have
well its off to bed now
night night allStay positive always👍xx0 -
Evening to all. It is quite pleasant this evening, cooler and far more bearable.
Glad you are cooler too Barbara. Still no AC, now come on, you know how good they are and worth their weight. No dilly dallying
I keep chuckling at the text on here, it is SO big, even more so with my glasses on
We need to form a gobbledygook group, at least we would all understand each other perfectly :?
I hope you enjoyed the match between Murray and Fognini - he is a bit of a loose canon Fognini, you never quite know how he is going to play or what he is going to do.
It was quite close, a bit close for comfort, but it was good to see Andy through to week 2. He seemed to be walking with a slight limp, I know he has had trouble with his hip. Two days rest and physio will help I am sure.
Today it is Novak and Roger and Thiem and.......erm, I forget.
Yes, Roger and Merka have two girls and two boys, the girls often go to the matches, they are so cute. Not seen the boys very often. I am sure they have nannies and plenty of help.
How is the parking situation on your road, well pavement?
Hi Carol - don't worry, you were obviously so tired, horrid having a sleepless night, I remember them very well. The smallest things often keep us awake, hope the graze is a lot better.
Good that you slept well last night and had a lie till 8am.
I see you have had a nice drive around the zoo, more of an extended family really.
Glad you had a lovely meal out for your Anniversary No cake  I am sure Mr T has been very busy, so has not had time to invest in getting his MP3 working.
No visit to Costa, so no knitting, poor teddy, no ears, bless.
You certainly did prove Mum wrong, after 47 years together. I am sure the name change is just fine
I hope Kerrin is ok after a hot day at Wimbledon, OH kept cool with Pimms and ice cream, so no grumps. I am sure it is exciting and tiring at the same time. Toni was shattered, but loved it to bits. Take care and rest up this week end. Feet up, drinkies, wedding planning............
Toni, I bet you are a wee bit tired and ouchy, after your trip to Liverpool, to the clothes show with Lucy. I bet you had a good time though. Miss Sleek will report to Pepe I am sure.
Apparently, they can talk to each other now, through their broomsticks, thanks to Mr Potters magic. Pepe mentioned something about heads up display, like they have in fighter jets   keeps them on track at high speed.
They enjoyed their trip to London, had a nice lesson with Jericat, who is coming on a treat, much more confident this time. They all went out over Wimbledon and had a nosey around all the main courts, pinched a little cream - oops. Well, it was there, so might as well take on refreshments.
We have had a quiet evening, managed to have a nap, it was warm, but I was not wilting. Caught up with the tennis. B is busy away with his jewellery, bracelet I think. I liked one he was making, so I laid claim to it Well, it is good advertising, that's my motto.
Mum n Dad will be here for croissants and coffee this morning. Mum is doing ok, steady away. We will suggest having brunch on Monday, to encourage her to eat a little more, even if it is the homemade soup and crusty bread.
I have pre booked myself in for a hair cut this week end - B said he will add it to the list, cut the front verge, cut the hedge, cut my hair.......... :?
Right, I had better move. Love to everyone, Kath, Elizabeth, Christine, Mig, Toni, Charrisse and all........
Take care XXXX Aidan
Some tempting veggie breakfast snacks today.

Look at those veggies on toast!! Thanks Aidan might try one.....or three
So that's what she was doing!!!? I could hear Diddicat chirruping at her broomstick  Quite a relief I was thinking the stress of Pepe's test and them mentoring Jericat was too much for her.
Did you know Mr Potter also gave them the power to zap through space? So they can get somewhere like THAT!!but they both love flying too much so are saving it for furmergencies.
Jericat did do well she took charge of her broomstick looking for her Mum over Wimbledon. They loved the cream, but not the strawberries :?
The clothes show, (British Style Collective), was exhausting!! It's not all in one place like when it was here at the NEC  Good job you sent the extra energy!!
Restful day as my sis is visiting today from Scotland. She'll be back in August because I will miss her going to France tomorrow until Weds. I might manage a post or two the connection isn't always great.
Be careful B doesn't cut your hair with his shears!!
I am glad to hear Mum is going on steady. I think she might enjoy the soup. Nutritious is soup.
Carol your Mum was possibly over-protective because your Dad died when you were young?? I think they would both be proud of you staying the course and very pleased about the name-change
I hope you sleep well tonight
So long as you are ok Barbara tennis takes priority just now we all understand!!
Clothes show was cool enough just too much for an old lady like me. Guess who promised to go again next year
((()))
Hi Joan I was tired after Wimbledon and also after the clothes show with Lucy. So tiring she is!!
I hope all is well with you, Sue and the doggies
Love
Toni xxx
Ah Kath How sweet is that bush-baby keeping you cool. Maybe the LLamas and alpacas are only trying to do the same?? :?
Gobbledygook is a well-known language. In my case often typed too0 -
Morning all..I see the mods are alerted to the forum change and it will be passed to the techie people on Monday
Joan the tennis players have good physios , worth there weight in gold..like you say they have ops and carry on playing soon after... hope you and Sue have a good weekend..
Aiden the Murry match was brilliant Fognini did put up a fight , I don't think he liked the telling off for swearing.. so Pepe and crew were pinching cream form Wimbledon like you say its there so why not.. how lovely that Roger has 2 girls and 2 boys , I missed the second ones.. yes they will have plenty of help..but still I take my hat off to his wife.. I look forward to seeing Novak and Roger today..this is certainly a good year for Wimbledon ..I know there are always up and coming stars but having all these together for maybe one last time.. a lovely veggie breakfast there..I will help myself..
Thankyou Carol..we must have done something right... my mother would say you have made your bed now lie in it.. so we couldn't just keep going home when we fell out .like they do today, saying that they would have had me back.. hope tonight is much better for you...not nice when you cant get back to sleep..
Toni will be all walked out today ..wonder what they bought...
I have just received a letter form the house of commons, my goodness what good quality writing paper and envelope my letter opener struggled to go throug it..the jits is the bypass we where promised many years ago will go ahead in a few years, the bad news he say is they want to build thousands of houses on the farm land at the top of out rd..in return.. they have already built on the land at the bottom of the rd..at this rates there will be no greenery left..right rant over..
:x
will try Aidens breakfast..
Love to everyone xxxxxx
Just spotted you Toni ..put your feet up..Love

Morning everyone. Just back from swimming as I skipped it on Thursday to rest up for Wimbledon. Officially shattered but nothing planned for the rest of the day.
Had a good but long day out at Wimbledon yesterday. Didn't get home till just after 11. The first match with Watson was very hot as we were in the sun. Pity she didn't win, she had her chances. Once we were in the shade it was much more pleasant. The Andy Fognini match kept us on our toes. fognini is very flashy, brilliant at times!
I'm pretty sure I saw a whole lot of kitties on broomsticks flying over. They were trying to do somersaults!
Hope you get some rest today Carol. I've just woken up from a mid morning nap.
