Evening to all, hope everyone is as ok as possible.
Finally, after a tiring day, a little time to chill out a bit.
Kath, thank you for popping in and putting some cakes out, there was just no way I could have posted, family were still here.
Hi Toni, I think that breakfast was the low calorie version, so we are all ok to eat twice as much :? :? Looks yummy.
Naturally the wisteria smelled wonderful. You don't see many white ones. The small one of ours is blue (it is growing like mad at the moment and throwing out new tendrils  needs protecting from hard frosts though).
I am sure yours will be lovely and of course Pom's is already wonderful, being Mrs Wisteria herself
I think Miss Sleeks ministrations have helped and Pepe is feeling better. Cookie too. He has had two days of Sulpha.... and I think that has calmed things down, back to normal.
He is eating fine, back on his normal "sensitive" food from the V**s.
I think they have all had a really good sleepy day while we have been out, no incidents or accidents when we arrived home, mid afternoon. Cookie is shouting the odds and Pepe is settled. He will chat to Miss Sleek via the crystal ball, in the night. He send his lurve.
Oh a fortune telling plate, with crumbs, oh, well that's us out of the equation then we don't leave cakes bits, no Maam. I might try it out though and see what it says. I assume that it talks :?
Bill is all ready for Saturday. I keep looking a the weather, hoping to see a dry day ---- no, it is wet, sunny spells and heavy showers, then it changes to thunderstorms, next time you look, pouring all day........... :?
We will take a quick run over tomorrow, just to check which fields the show is in, the Village is small, with many lovely farms around. We will suss it out, then B will go early, on his own and I will go with Mum and Dad a bit later on.
He has worked super hard, amazing how much he has made in a few months.
No, the dress is well hidden and Fiance' has no access all areas in this house
Thank you, last night was better, we all settled and slept through. We were all shattered.
Indeed we have all missed Kath, we are missing Carol while she is away, having cuddles and spoiling her lovely GC and GGC. We miss all our friends when they are not about.
I am sure Tia will be fine with the brace, they have changed beyond all recognition over the years, they are a fashion statement now, all the colours of the rainbow.
hi Joan, that is a good size kitchen diner, nice to have room to move about and being on the end is good too.
We have been in the park home 8 and a 1/2 years now. Time flies. We love it, has everything we could want and in a fab location too.
Hi to Sue and the lovely doggies too. Hope you have managed to get out and about in between the rain.
Thank you Kath, both Pepe and Cookie seem better now, they soon rally and the medication works well for them.
They are all getting on in years, Mother (Tosca) is nearly 18, Cookie is 17 and Pepe is over 15.
You don't moan at all Kath, you tell us how you are feeling, just as we all do, that isn't moaning hun, they are statements of fact. When we ouch, we ouch and it bloomin well hurts.
Glad the TalkTalk tech was a clever chap and knew what was amiss. Having seen inside the BT green boxes, it is a wonder that any of us get any connection at all, it is just a maze of wires, thousands of them
I might need two of those jammy dodger cupcakes, they look amazing. Thank you kindly. The bush Babies will be your friends forever.
Spotted your choir practice Toni, I hope Barbara was in good voice and the spells of tunefullness worked well.
Of course we will be under the cloak, ready for Lucy's appointment at the hosp. Count us in.
Hi Barbara, hope you managed to gather some spare hours. We do use a lot up between us.
That is good, to have been with your neighbour to the help group and they have assisted with her benefits etc. There are so many good people.
I don't blame you for going to bed early, I have always been the most terrible sleeper and now an incurable insomniac
It takes Sleeping pills, tramadol, amitryp, pregabalin, and co codamol to send me to sleep. No wonder my consultant says I am on enough to floor a horse  :?
B is super ready, all things priced. His desk is looking bare, now everything is all packed into his plastic storage drawers.
We, that is Mum Dad Aunt Uncle and us two went out for lunch at Townley Hall GC, which was very nice, that lasted for ages, then we had a wander round, we bought some lovely silver grass type plants, I forget the name. Everything was almost ready for Christmas, lights, trees, you name it............
Then Aunt and Uncle came back here while Mum n Dad had a nap, so we were entertaining until 5, then they went back to Mum's. They are here till Saturday morning.
Am looking forward to the cream and oil coming from the hospital. There are rave reviews of it, from helping with scar healing, to wrinkle fighting, (which is wonderful) to working wonders for dermatitis psoriasis etc, everything totally natural. A hidden secret so people say.
See Kath, Barbara said just the same, as did Toni, not moaning at all.
I hope you were in good voice and the spells worked
I will see you under the cloak.
Good job we can all be in two places at once, as we (just us two) to the GC for brunch, then surgery for bloods and wee tests, then shop, then find out exactly where the fayre is.............
I will find time to go into the enchanted forest.
Hoping that everyone else is ok, Kerrin, Carol, Mig, Christine, Elizabeth, Charrisse, DD,
Everyone take care, let me go find something nice for breakfast.
Love to all XXX Aidan

Can the cats do an anti-rain spell I wonder for Saturday :? doubt it though Mother nature is very powerful :?
Off to the hospital Aidan has the cloak, but you can all come along at 9ish c/o a spell by Pusskins or in the bus???
Hopefully will be reporting back by about late lunch-time.
Love to you all

Pecan and Maple syrup, just what I need, or Pain au raisin. Tesco have just been, and we're both hungry and worn out. So I'll scoff these now.
Off to sort next weeks order now.

We're back from the hospital. Saw a nice young registrar who did a thorough examination of Lucy's hip(s), back and watched her walking (wonky again ). Looked at the X-ray she had first thing.
He decided that she needs an MRI fairly urgently so they can see what is going on and decide what to do about it.
It should be before Benidorm and an appointment for when we get back from the holiday.
He assured us he won't leave her in pain.
Hello Joan All is as well as can be Lucy has to have an urgent MRI the Xray wasn't clear enough.
Hi Kath shopping arrived safely? Good and ordering next week's already? Very organised I had a pecan and maple for breakfast...maybe I ought to have a pain au raisin now
Better get on

Hi to Joan and Sue hope you both have a good day better go my visitor is conning back...

An anti rain spell Toni, errrrrm, we can ask, :? it would have to come from Hogwarts Toni, our lovely puskins, don't have enough ooomph on their wands to stop the weather in its tracks, even Minerva, Harry and Hermione, might say that it is not something that can be changed.
I wish it was, then those terrible Hurricanes could be stopped.
It makes you realise that Man thinks he rules the planet, but Mother nature is in charge and with some incredible force too.
We were all with you, I dropped a croissant, hope no one saw it, I kicked it under a desk, very quickly.
Does Lucy have a pelvic tilt? I know I do, with arthur. I know Lucy has such trouble with joints, due to the chemo. I hope there is something they can do, to assist her asap
Good that the MRI will be done quick and the lovely Dr said he would not leave her in pain, with appointment for when you get back from Benidorm. ((()))
Have another pecan danish, with a nice cup of T. Bush babies will pop round and give a foot massage
The cape will be busy for the next few weeks I think.
Hi Joan - we do have each other to support us, be they better times, or not so good times, to downright horrid times. We are our own little care group in the cafe and everyone is welcome.
I will bring you a cup of coffee in bed, with a nice Danish Pastry, crumbs all over, but not to worry, we can borrow the vacuum that we use for Toni :?
I see you are tired out now, after your Tesco delivery, high time for more buns and cakes of all descriptions. Hoping you are not to ouchy and I might just help myself to one of the pain au chocolat, it would be rude not to.
Happy ordering. I used to order online when we were at the last house, but have never done it here, not sure why :?
I think we managed to get everything done today. G Center for brunch, which was v nice as usual, I had a bacon and egg muffin, B had a full English, then I fancied chunky chips so we had them to share. Then I thought........a scone, yes, why not. It was the most enormous scone, so it took some getting through, two coffee's no less. I was pogged.
Oh, the lights, let me go find them, there are three, or is it four sets in the Restaurant, the biggest are about 3 feet tall, we want them, need them.........
https://photos.app.goo.gl/nRTI9wtn6OvfSGAL2
From there, Sainsb for some groceries, then bank, then surgery for bloods, wee's etc. HCA said I hadn't seen my GP for a long time, so I have an appointment to see him in October. I would like another set of x rays done on the ouchy areas, to see what changes there are from a few years back.
Another appointment made to see one of the practice Sisters, to do my COPD things and Diabetes checks. Wee, BP all ok, took a while to find my veins, they saw the needle and vanished, don't know why   all done in the end.
We were going to check on the fayre, but B knows where it is and the big marquees will give the location away so we came home instead. He will be off at 0800, I will go at around 10, with Mum n Dad. The weather is changeable for tomorrow, to say the least, sunshine, then rain, then pouring rain, then thunderstorms..........
Made appointment to see my Cardio on the 27th, it's a good job I emailed her, I was booked in for next week  all re arranged for the said date. I wrote and said I had it booked in on two calendars with 4 alarm notifications  She wrote back and said "it happens to us all, bless".
anyway, the computer and the phone know what we are doing, so that's good :? :?
B has everything packed and ready, all in the car, safe and sound.
I am just pottering a bit and doing washing and drying, fussing around.
Pepe, cookie and tosca are all ok. He has "been" and it was all fine. There, that's made everyone's day
He has not been out on the broom today, with him in recovery, thought it better to chat to miss sleek on the crystal ball. They have been using the crystal ball to look further into the ravine, where they cannot get to, only the nymphs and woodland creatures can go there. They say there is a door, but it would not open for them, despite a lot of waving of wands. :? Now I am curious too.
All our lovelies are just fine, the Super Bets said things were tickety boo.
I asked Miss Sleek to turn the little rain cloud off, for a while, the stream was a bit full !
The meerkats think it is mid winter so their roof is shut and the heat lamps are on. All bed areas are heated, but theirs has to be super warm.
Right, Barbara will be here in a minute, for some cake, to go with the T. So, I will away and be back later.
love to all, take care, XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Hi Toni sorry to hear Lucy is in pain lets hope its sorted before your holiday.
I don't get in the cafe much these days but Im putting out a timely reminder keep out of the under stairs cupboard the brew should be nearly ready, please return the cauldron but don't bother cleaning it it all adds to the potion.0 -
mig here's the cauldron ready
Oooh it whiffs a bit  :?
Thank you They will do their best to help Lucy bless her they are really good there
Barbara - I am positive they won't leave Lucy in pain thanks xx
Aidan that cake!! WOW!!!! yum chomp chomp!!
I am worried about the tsunami threat I know it's not going to be in B's field, but too much rain won't be good for him.
The cats have tried all day, but so far no luck so they are reluctantly agreeing with Minerva Harry and Hermione
Lucy has an antalgic gait!! it's probably very similar to yours to be honest. I am not worried the hip chap is so upbeat and positive I know they will do everything they can for Lucy and can even do steroid jabs still. I asked how when they were part of the cause of the AVN?? He said that was TABLETS (dexamethasone 7xs stronger than prednisone) which go in the blood and killed the supply to the femoral head. Joint steroid jabs do not go in the blood stream. THR needs putting off as long as possible
I did see a croissant!!!! That was you it disappeared quickly - well done
Thank you for thinking of us.
Don't worry there is a plan
I hope the cats are all well and will be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping all goes really well for B
Love

Evening to all
I had better make this fairly brief, have to be up at silly o clock, B will be setting off about 0730, we just noticed the show starts at an earlier time than it states on the tickets
We do need a rubber mallet for me Barbara, I think it is the only thing that will work
I hope you enjoyed your visitors visit It's amazing where the time goes when someone pops in.
Thank you for your well wishes for the fayre, I will take piccies, it is quite a big "event".
I won't be getting there until later, with Mum n Dad, I will be covered in mud, a warthog even !!
Hi Mig, we will return the cauldron and never clean it, I know there are big spi*** under the stairs so I will not be anywhere near !!
We remember the events of the last potion :?
Hi Toni, yes, it is still raining   I feel a quagmire coming on, but what will be will be. It won't deter the people, everyone is used to pouring rain and mud.
No joy with the weather changing spells, they just don't work. I know Miss Sleek and Pepe and Jericat have been trying, even combining all three wands, all they got was a "fizz".
Lucy's gait is very similar, a stance and or walk that is off center to avoid as much pain as possible.
That is good to be able to give steroid injections, they are direct and only affect a specific area, unlike the pills.
Avoiding a THR for as long as possible is certainly the best option while there are other avenues they can use.
Was thinking of you for sure. You noticed the flying croissant, hope the Dr didn't, although he might wonder why one has appeared under his desk :?
Pus cats all seem to be doing their normal things. Pepe is looking at me, sat among some freshly dried blankets. He is being picky with his food, so he is back to normal for sure
Thank you for the well wishes for the fayre, I wonder if I should take some spare ferules for my crutches, just in case they vanish into mud and don't come out. Might be an idea.
Right, I must away, B is all ready and bed will be very early for us, 12 ish.
Everyone take lots of care.

Where are you finding these posh breakfasts Aidan!!! So yum
Wow!! Silly O'clock was it? We had to leave at 07:20 yesterday for the hospital so I understand - far too early to rise!! At least far too early to be dressed!!
The spare ferrules is a really sensible idea just pop them in your coat pocket sorted
Shame the cats can't beat Mother nature even for one morning, but maybe it will hold off at least for the morning.
I'm glad all seem to be well that is good fingers crossed they stay well too. Look out for a fly-by Daiyscat is picking Pepe up (he says he is still sooooo weak!!!) to offer support and they are going to sprinkle some magic on the customers
One rubber mallet for you being demonstrated!!
VERY best of luck and am looking forward to hearing from you later

A quick good morning.
It was a silly o clock start, up at 0645  in other words the middle of the night.
B headed off before 8, into the pouring rain  although, it has stopped now - ssssshhh
I think the puskins were up on top of Pendle this morning to give the fairer weather spell a bit more oomph.
There may be a thunderstorm, but it seems it might well dry up a bit. Hoorah.
I am slowly getting ready, waiting for Mum n Dad to pick me up. They have just rung to ask what the conditions are like there. :? :? Errrm, wet and muddy, so don't wear your best court shoes. I said "We will be fine, holding one another up".
Spare ferrules in coat pocket, pills, pain killers, etc all in my bag. Tickets, check.
Back is already shouty, but I am going, come mud and high water. I have to be stand in and fetcher of foods and drinks. There are loads of food stands.
Lots of cattle, piggies, sheep, cake judging, etc etc, motorcross bike displays, fell running (they will be clarted in muck )sheep shearing, lots of crafts in the craft marquee.........should be good.
Oh the breakfast, they are a secret Toni.
I am sure Miss Sleek and Pepe will fly by, probably at a good height so as not to be seen. The magic will fall onto the customers
Thank you Joan, I am sure it will be an experience
Not sure if I will write until later this evening. We might just need to collapse in a heap when we get back. I will stay and come back with B, Mum n Dad won't want to be there very long, mum feels the cold.
Everyone take lots of care, love to all. XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Oh Aidan I hope it goes really well I think you all sound totally ready
The cats are out; already at the fayre so see whether you can spot them, as you said they might be out of sight to the general public
I really hope all goes well and your job food and drink fetcher is an essential one so be careful!!
I am sure B will sell loads and you Mum and dad will be fine if you hold on tight
No rush to post if you are shattered tomorrow will do unless of course you are on a total high about it all!!
Ah Joan my Mum also had one leg shorter than the other. I expect that is uncomfortable You know Lucy she will be fine, but thank you for caring ((()))

Evening all
Back yesterday evening from my trip to Margate and Mr T from Holy Island since then been trying to catch up with the washing and e-mails as had no internet while have been away as daughter dose not have internet at the moment. well teddy has a new home with Graycie and I will now be knitting a mermaid for Lillie. it was a good week despite it ending with my daughter being in hospital from Thursday evening till late this afternoon. It has been a funny week really as my daughter was working some of the time. each of the 2 days she was off and we could spend some quality time together something happened to hash it up. but it was a good week despite this and I enjoyed the week with the GC and GGC. Graycie has grown so much it is unbelievable and is a real saucy little monkey now crawling and everywhere she is 9 months next Tuesday. Lillie has gone from reception class into year 1 and is now starting to read. she went back to school on Tsday and I went with GD to collect her after school. and youngest GD returned to school in year 11 on Wednesday. where have the years gone I wonder.
will catch up more tomorrow on all the news as must take a little potter around before bed
night night to one and allStay positive always👍xx0 -
Well, do I give the full version, or the abbreviated version.............The latter I think.
Thank you all for your well wishes for the country show on Saturday.
I will make it short and sweet.
There is less mud in the warthogs enclosure. My shoes are going in the bin.
Hair raising journey with mum n dad. Get to show parking field. Follow the track up the field, we will get someone to bring you down to the gate in a truck or tractor or whatever. OK, will do.
Go WAY up the field, slip sliding along, cars getting stuck already. They could not use the lower part of the fields as they were under a foot of water.
Parked up, looked across to the show, a good half mile walk away
Everyone was setting off across field, as you would. Me thinking how are me and Mum going to get there. No one came to take us down.
Dad asked again, stay there we will get a landrover up to take you.
Never happened. the found us a spot near the gates, so dad went to get car. We all got in, within 20 yards we were stuck up to the rims in mud, going nowhere.
OK, I am going for it, so I set off. Mum n Dad waited for 4x4 to get them out of the myre.
Determination drove me on, down to the rough track and down towards the entrance, cars stuck all over the place. Pain, don't even go there.
Get to gate, huge cattle grid and no side gate. Kind marshal said let's get you across, so I clung on to the railing and he clung on to my other arm. We did it. He was quite impressed with my efforts to get there.
Arrived, went in, oh my, what a mud bath. Fortunately the craft and show marquee was the first one in, there was B. He was trying to ring and say don't bother, it's too much for you. But no signal area.
Upshot, sold nothing at all. It really was a farmers show, not a place to have lovely jewellery. I think most people in the craft area had a bad day. If you were selling pies, cheese, pickles, cakes, more pies..........then fine. Otherwise, nah.
Mum n dad arrived a while after, suitably rescued. They stopped for a look round with B while I manned the stall. Then they made their way home. It was a bit much for Mum.
We sat and nattered, had a jacket potato each and a small bottle of water £10,00 please. HOW MUCH.
The coffee house in town, had a stand there, so coffee was good and very welcome.
Trips to the various "facilities" dotted around, they were an experience, as was the whole day. By 3.30 we were packing up, as were most people, we went out the back of the marquee, across the road, through the field, to our car, which was very close. It is amazing how grass can hide a lot of water underneath !!
Anyway, that was the day, one to remember, one to forget, onward to the next fayre in the village hall, which will be DRY, WARM, NO MUD and maybe people will be tempted to buy.

OK, a good evening / early morning to everyone.
Sorry, my last post was not short and sweet, it was like War and Peace
I am sure that Miss Sleek and Pepe were flying high above, but with eyes firmly on the ground, I didn't spot them Toni. Despite the previous recount of the day, the location of Dunsop Bridge is idylic and they will have enjoyed a fly round the Trough of Bowland.
The picture is being greatly admired by Pepe, he is very impressed with the gliding. He is perched high on a cushion, on my lounge chair at the moment. Not spoiled at all
B had to do the food and drink runs, there was no way I could let go of my crutches and carry hot coffee :?
Don't worry Barbara, I understood what you meant about your post. You are not loosing the plot at all, honest :?
The sun did shine and the Heavens opened, so it was a mixture of weather. The marguee was packed when it was raining, but everyone was shoving pies in, not buying jewellery
I hope Niamh enjoyed her tuna pasta, bless. Where you run ragged?
We did get home safely, clothes have had two washes and now dried. Boots and shoes are sitting on cloths, drying out. I will get another pair on Monday. Pain, we won't mention pain or payback.
Sounds like fun in Morrison's !! lights out then fire alarm.
Not seen Dickinson's real deal for a while Toni, we used to watch it. Nice that they were filming nearby
Hi Carol, glad to see you are back home safely, Mr T too. Catching up on everything now.
You do have some ventures when you visit family. Glad teddy has Graycie for a new owner and now you have to knit a mermaid for Lillie
I hope you Daughter is ok  I take it, it was not a planned admission.
But you did have a good time with the GC and GGC, I can imagine they are growing super quick, we know where time goes, it all ends up in the garden shed and the years whiz past.
When do you go off to find a new puskin? Soon?
I will pop into the secret garden for a moment.
Time for me to move, so I will catch you all later. Hi to everyone, Christine, Mig, DD, Elizabeth, Kerrin and all. Take lots of care XXXX Aidan

Morning Carol Welcome back! I do hope your daughter is ok? :?
So Graycie has Teddy then and Lillie will have a mermaid. Gosh that sounds tricky I can see you being busy
Not nice not having your internet is it?
So your youngest Gd is in year 11? wow! Graycie is starting to read!! I'm sure I remember her being born? Even more scary to hear Lillie is 9 months on Tuesday and starting to crawl. You have such a lovely family
Soon then it will be puss-cat choosing time!!!
Morning Aidan My gosh the things we do for those we love  You and Mum and Dad. The conditions sounded dreadful and £10 for a baked spud and water? outrageous!!
Poor poor B selling nothing what a dreadful disappointment he would have sold more at our village craft fayre which we hold inside our Church!!! I feel absolutely gutted for him
The display table looked fantastic!! I would have wanted to buy up the lot Poor poor B I just can't get over it - well a lesson learned eh? He would have stood a chance if it was a fabulous hot day and people had lingered I am certain.
Just eating my mixed berry breakie as I read on....thanks
