Afternoon to all, quite chilly here and very wet. Wet until Thursday I think
Thank you for your kind words - we are not downhearted, the next fayre in the Village Hall will be totally different. Being in a marquee in the middle of a field, was not the venue for jewellery.
I will gladly take your Amitrip Toni, I have to wait until later for mine too.
The things we do for those we love indeed. I was SO determined and all I kept saying was I have to get there, I have to get there and I did.
I know, two tatties and a little water £10. I was sat down at the time when B said how much it was. Needless the say the chair I was in was getting lower and lower into the grass
We learn by our experiences. Fields, mud, waterlogged, will not be in the dictionary of fayres that are going on. Village Halls, Churches, etc, yes.
Thank you, I thought the stall looked lovely too. Onward and upward.
It was nice to sit in the secret garden and enjoy the flowers and trees. I meant to pop into the shed, to get some spare hours for Carol. I am sure she will pop in later and pick up a few.
The umbrella spell was appreciated, the marquee was enormous and didn't leak.
Yes, the trough and forests of Bowland, I think they had a nice time, flying about and visiting the little villages. Pepe said to Miss Sleek that Daddy's had gone into the warthogs home
We have never been so glad to get home, realising just what an important word "home" is, encompassing so many things that we hold so dear.
Pepe said to remind Sleek that he will be gliding later, paws spread out of course, to get a better click on the carpet  :?
Oh dear, Paul had to be towed out as well. One tractor, goodness, they will still be there..........stuck in the mud.
Thank you for the hugs, we are in recovery mode, pottering, washing, pottering some more. Tramodol, max dose, is helping dull things down.
So the puskins are doing a spell, I will take care and keep my guardian crystals nearby, just in case they get it slightly wrong.
Hi Joan, it was a struggle, but I did it - I could not do it again, I know that much.
Hoorah, the Housing **** are changing their heating engineers, finally, they have seen the light, so things will be done, if there are any problems.
Roast chicken dinner, I bet it smells wonderful Mig, enjoy. Countdown to Lake Garda, exciting, the time will whiz by.
Hi Barbara, thank you, it was an effort, a supreme one. An experience , but I don't do ankle deep mud, or flooded fields any more, no Maam.
No, B is not put off, but we will only go to very local fayres, indoors, heated, with "proper" facilities. He might start to sell online as well, all things to consider.
I will share the hugs and add them to Toni's
I am not surprised the breakfast soon went, it looked so good.
I will do a bit more pottering, dryer has finished and the biscuit tin has crumbs in  , so that will have to be washed out - the shame.
I think Pepe is having an indoor day, he looked out earlier and thought nah, not today. I am sure he will be chattering to Miss Sleek later though, maybe a conference call with Jericat and Tomicat too.
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Kath, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all.
take care - many thoughts and prayers for those in the path of the hurricane over in Florida
Something to go with T. XX Aidan

Been to Lake Como but this is the first time I've been to Garda.0
-
Sorry I missed Joan earlier..hope you are both doing well..so glad to hear the housing association is getting another firm to do the heating..I should think so you did well to get no rain..
Mig right ..it was Lake Combo..it will be lovely...I know a few who have been there..Lake Garda I mean..
Aiden that is devotion for you..I had to laugh at the chair sinking..thought it was just the mud..blimey that was an expensive jacket potato or two..but they know they have you..yes a lesson learned like Toni says a sunny day would have been much different onward and upwards like you say..craft fairs near Christmas will be perfect....Home is so comforting after such a day..
Our eldest son has just been around with home made cake ..its so very light..but I have eaten a little to much..I will never learn :oops:Love

Joan thank you I am having a good weekend I hope you are too.
mig I hope you enjoyed your chicken dinner Lake Garda will be amazing!! I am very envious Mind you off to Benidorm on 4th Oct myself.
Stafford is a fair way from you Barbara, but our village is in Stafford!! I'm more likely to be up your way than the other way around
Oh a proper Afternoon Tea Aidan thank you
The cats are having a skype call later so they can see each other all of them. They want to work out how to get an intelligent cat for Carol :?
Even Sleek has only nipped out briefly today  She has remembered that Pepe will be gliding she thinks he is brilliant at it
I have had to explain that Daddy has not turned into a Warthog She does panic sometimes and get the wrong end of the (broom)stick!! She adored the little villages and said they might go again when Pepe's Daddies aren't getting soaked!!
My sister sells on Etsy tell B it works out well for her and some sell on facebook. You can add a link to your Fbook page.
I can totally believe how glad you were to get home :?
Indeed we will do anything for those we love and that is quite right too
I have my amitrip at night too (had it 1/2 7 ) never in the morning else I couldn't drive!!
I hope you both sleep well tonight and Mum and Dad have recovered too ((())) more hugs.
Love
Toni xxxx0 -
Evening to everyone. It is quite chilly, have even put the fire on low  it must be autumn.
I have just been looking at pictures of Lake Como and Lake Garda, they both look stunning places Mig. My Aunt and Uncle went to Lake Garda a couple of years back, said it was wonderful.
I hope the chicken dinner was scrumptious
Hi Barbara, oh the chair sinking  Each stall had two chairs and the stall behind us didn't turn up, or ran for the hills when they saw all the mud, either way, we had plenty of seating. Mum had to sit and rest, so I sat next to her and started to sink, my knees were getting higher and higher.
I had to be hauled out in the end.
We are looking forward to the fayre in the Village Hall on the 1st October. It is a mixture of antiquities and crafts / collectibles. They do amazing bacon butties and stall holders get free tea and coffee, a bit of a difference to £5 for a tattie.
B is busy doing some table displays, wire work trees, also some complicated chain mail bracelets. They are fabulous.
Ooooh, home made cake, no, it is impossible to have too much cake, as we well know.
I thought, as it was Sunday, we should have a proper afternoon tea Toni. Pinkies all on show
I think all the puskins did skype, Tomicats wand can help to cast a spell of enchantment, for the perfect puskin or puskins, to go live with Carol and Mr T.
Pepe has been off colour since nap time, off with the trots again. So I have started the sulphasalazine and I have to pop into the vets today, so will ask them for some pro-kaolin or some antirobe if they will give me some, (he has had them umpteen times before, with good effect).
He has always been "delicate" in the tummy area, right from being a teeny weeny kitten.
He usually has two to three trips to the vets in a year, for the same thing, but I am loathed to take him again, after the last visit when he turned into demon cat and wanted to throttle the Vet !!
We will see how he is today. He is not off his food, so little and often at the moment.
There was no gliding before naps, but a lot of stretching and a little rolling.
Thank you for explaining to Miss Sleek that we had not become warthogs.
They did enjoy the villages and flying over the moors, all the heather is out at the moment, looks lovely.
Have had my amitrip, tramadol, pregabalin, and co codamol.
Still in recovery mode and thank you for the extra hugs, I will share them around us all, human an feline
We are off to the GC, for a quiet coffee and cakes this morning, with Mum n Dad. Then vets, pay our dues, then shop for groceries, then home.
Goodness the rain is lashing down at the moment, like being in a jet wash. :? The streams in the ravines are very loud, the river will be high again today.
Time for a little potter.
I meant to say that the creams I ordered, the My Trusty skincare, from Salisbury Hospital, arrived the other day - they are wonderful, hand cream, body lotion and face / body oil. Loving them all, working a treat on my super sore elbows and also my hands and seborrheic warts :?
All our lovelies are fine, the meerkats have under burrow heating, so they are very happy. I put some live scorpions in, for them to snack on  they do like them.
Blush was somewhere in the bamboo, rustling away.
The seals, penguins, camels, emu's, warthogs, giraffes, Llamas Alpacas, Sloths, Okapi, Tapirs, Lambs, piggies, cows, owls, bush babies........who did I miss ? All doing very well. Most are asleep in their heated huts and pens. The owls are chasing voles, the Bush Babies are enjoying their fruit.
Phew, no wonder we need so many zoo keepers.
I will pop into the enchanted forest tomorrow.
It is time I was pottering again. Sitting is very ouchy.
Love to everyone, Kath, Christine, Kerrin, Charrisse, Elizabeth, Carol - and all.
Take lots of care XXXX Aidan
For breakfast we could have - Baked Blueberry Oatmeal with Walnut Streusel Topping
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Lovely Aidan thank you I like the sound of today's breakfast
Scary sinking chair story there!! Good job in some ways that B wasn't too busy otherwise he might have had to leave you there all day - you might have disappeared!!
Such good news that Tomicat has helped with a spell so the right pusskin shows him/herself to Carol and Mr T
Not so good that Pepe is suffering again bless him. He hasn't told Miss Sleek why at all just muttering about 'bad food from the vet's' I hope he feels better soon and the vet's do add some kaolin for him
Charley's pusskin is always a demon cat at the vet's.......she always has to have two members of staff bless her.
Some rolling and stretching is good - I call Miss Sleek 'Long-legs' when she does that  Honestly what am I like?
I do hope you all enjoy your restful GC visit tomorrow and recovery is almost complete.
Good to hear B is still busy busy
So the creams work for you? That is good to hear. Do they actually work on the seborrheic thingies??
I'm glad you did the scorpians - I might not like them, but 'live' food creeps me out
All does seem well with the animals I had a walk earlier and everyone was well. Sorter tusks look better too don't they. Good job they were sedated for that after all
Supervet is due again this week so we shall see if they are all really well.
You take care too I hope you had a good night.
Morning!! to Joan I hope all is well with you and you are both warm enough.
I wonder how the newly-weds are getting on :?

Feeling SOOOOO sorry for those suffering from Irma.
Where has the weekend gone? Perhaps it's hiding in the magic garden. :? We were under the gazebo on Saturday, and Sunday we were busy on Amazon, sorting out an order which was delivered this morning. I have 2 diaries for next year, One is the BHF A5 diary with 95p donation with everyone sold. The other is a pocket Busy B diary. I'm well chuffed.
Aidan I read of your disaster, and saw B's jewelry display. If I;d have been there, I'd have bought at least half. Wonderful.
Well it's stopped raining and the sun is out!

Hi to Kath that I have just spotted..Love
Barbara0 -
afternoon to all, a wet and breezy day, some sunny spells and some torrential downpours.
Went round to pick Mum n Dad up this morning "what you two doing here" :? It's Monday, coffee and shopping - "no, it's Sunday" No, it's Monday. Anyway, we finally got round to it being Monday, Mum was not really with it and Dad was equally as confused as to what day it was.
Pepe's appointment had already been booked at the Vets for 2pm, so we had bacon and egg muffins and scones, so as not to have to rush making lunch.
Mum was a bit brighter by the time we had had coffee. She said she felt done in, as did we all, from Saturdays ventures. We didn't dally in the supermarket, we wanted to get them both home so they could rest.
Home, all cats settled, fast asleep, until the cat carrier came out. Popped Pepe into said carrier, much to his horror. Many mews on the way to the vets. She was lovely, but she had not met Pepe before, who was already growling and spitting. We went through the problems he has had for ever, she said I will give him some antibiotics, injection   NO, let me give them to him at home, she agreed, as he looked at her and wanted to rip her to bits.
So antibiotics for 5 days and sulphasalazine for 5 days. I had a very thick coat on this time, I was not taking any chances. She tried to feel his tummy, but we gave up in the end and let him fly back into his carrier, still spitting feathers.
I am sure he will be telling Miss Sleek all about it, how the Vet was terrible and wanted to attack him with needles..........
He has had his pills, no trouble. No more trots, so far..........
Breakfast did look yummy Toni, no crumbs, well done
I would have vanished into the grass at the fayre, if no one had been around, there would have been my head and nothing else No idea why I am laughing, the pain in my back is the worst I have had for years. It will ease, must have worn those facet joints a bit too much. Recovery will take a little while longer. All the bush babies are coming over when we have naps.
Tomicat was more than happy to help, he seems to have come round a lot, now that he knows he has Hogwart champions on his side.
Pepe is called pepe long stockings when he is stretched out
The creams are working just fine, both elbows, which have been so bad for years, are already looking a lot better. There is one larger warty bit, that will take longer, it has already been sliced off twice and frozen with nitrogen and still it grows back.
I am ok with Scorpions, in a box. other live things, mmm, not so sure.
The warthogs do look smarter, if that's possible, bless em. Sedation was the only way.
Last night was not a good night, Pepe was up and down to the loo, umpteen times.........he will soon settle again.
Sorry you have had rain and thunder Joan, definitely not a time to go out.
We are laughing about the fayre, despite the bad ouches. Experience is a great teacher.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have suffered in the path of the hurricane, such terrific power that nature unleashes. I cannot imagine winds of 180 mph   frightening to say the very least Kath
Now they have tornado's to contend with as well.
Glad you managed to get to the Gazebo at the week end and then you were online shopping we love to shop
New Diaries too, better to be prepared.
Bless you, I am sure you would have loved the jewellery. It will be better at the Village Fayre in October. Even if we sell one thing, it will be 100% better than being in a mud bath.
That breakfast looks scrummy. I am not usually a fan of dippy eggs, but they look just fine.
Hi Barbara, yes, I guess we are lucky not to be bombarded with hurricanes, tropical storms, tornado's and the like. We have a weather warning for tomorrow night, 60 mph winds through the night. I don't like it when the wind is roaring through like a train.
I am glad I lift your spirits, it's the way I tell em is it, in which case I won't change
I am hitting the Tramadol at the moment, today has been just terrible, but it will ease off.
Pepe will be back on the mend soon, we are very used to his "troubles".
I spoke too soon about the trots being settled.................. :? :? Moving swiftly on.
It was chilly last night, fine with the fire on low. I think the heating came on once in the night.
I had better move, I am following his nibs around and sorting him out as and when. He has long trousers, if you get my drift, so matron has to "attend" to things.
Swedish cream and apple buns anyone?
Catch everyone later, love to all. Aidan XXXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I've had a dippy egg c/o Kath and a Swedish apple bun with cream from Aidan perfect!
The weekend did rather vanish didn't it? Have you managed a walk or two?
Irma was very very nasty very upsetting thinking of those poor people.
Almost certainly all missing hours are in the shed in the secret garden
Barbara you are right we have had really warm Septembers and Octobers in recent years this is a shock.
Of course Lucy will have follow-ups at the hospital for her shoulder....maybe we ought to meet up? I don't live near anyone I don't think :? I do live near Janie68 and Roses
All off us lot are well spread-out
I took my amitrip in the day only once :? and it was so the wrong day as I was about to visit my friend the day after her husband had died  Couldn't drive
Poor Pepe Aidan - you know he hasn't told Miss Slimkins what is wrong (is he embarrassed?) he said he has a 'bad paw'. I do hope all gets under control soon now the vet has given you all that. I do hope it helps him soon. The vet was a wise one trusting you to sort him out.
Miss Slimkins thought he was all bandaged up!! She totally agrees with him about the vets, but she is a quiet -one when she has to go. Her paws sweat and she hides. Occasionally she will growl...now Charley's pusskin that is another matter. She and Pepe are cut from the same cloth there!!!
OH oh oh!! Pepe long-stockings!!!! So perfect!! I love it!!
It really sounds as though Saturday was too much for all of you!! Poor Mum and dad both out of sorts Sounds like they will recover sooner that you though
Tramadols eh? That is not a good sign is it? Rest as much as you can that's all you can do. Sit a little stand/ walk a little/lie down a little. As the othopod told me. Bush-babies were all quite keen to come over :? maybe they want to see the infamous Pepe-longstockings!!!
Sorry no laughing rest your facets ((()))
I think Tomicat is thinking of our two more as his equals now.... ok maybe not equals but not as inferior as they were before they passed the advanced tests. The distinctions helped too
I am impressed with how well those creams have worked. We need a pompholyx flare next to try it on.
Thanks for the compliment the warthogs were fine apart from Esmerelda who started to wake up
Right onwards and upwards for me.
Busy day tomorrow
Love to everyone

Evening all
Didn't get on here to post yesterday I was so tired I was out at church in the morning and then home to cook dinner after eating that I just kept falling asleep in the armchair for the rest of the afternoon and evening I was catching up on sleep I think after a busy week.
Aidan yes Teddy has a new home by the seaside with Graycie-mai and as I thought she would when she saw the picture Lillie-rose wants a mermaid so thats the next thing to knit. your right the hospital admission as not planned daughter had a bad cold which ended up as viral infection on her chest that was attacking the airways making it very difficult to breathe she has had nebulisers and antibiotics in hospital and was home Saturday evening with an inhaler and steroids. she rang me yesterday and sounded so much better. yep the years do fly think I need to go into the shed and claim back some years not hours or would that be greedy
Toni yes the teddy has a home with youngest GGD Graycie who is 9 months and its Lillie the 5 year old GGD who has requested the mermaid. and youngest GD is 15 nearly 16 so quite the young lady now. I love being with all of them even the elder 2 GC who are 25 and 23 they are great kids.
Joan Daughter is on the road to recovery thank you she came out of hospital on Saturday evening.
Barbara yes Daughter is doing ok. the change in the little ones was amazing especially Graycie she is a real little monkey into everything now she is crawling.
looking forward now to a week today as we plan to go to the rescue home to see if we can find a puskins that we can give a home to. its hard to believe we lost Snowie nearly 7 months ago
well time has caught up with me and it is now bed time so I will say night night all and will look in again very soonStay positive always👍xx0 -
evening to one and all. Wet and wild here, with storms for Tuesday night, autumn has blown in very quickly.
I am sure Pepe is a bit embarrassed, hence the poorly paw. He will speak to her later, when he is feeling better, sparing the details, just a summary of events.
Of course he will tell her of the vile vet, who was menacing with syringes and needles  (she was the sweetest young lady, who was quite happy to take him on - we both said, no, best not, as he sat there spitting like a pit viper ).
She was happy for us to take the medicating and nursing duties into our own hands, as I reeled off what he needed etc Paid our dues, owed for some food and Cookies visit and jabs, then his nibs visit and pills........soon mounts up, but it matters not, if it were 10 times the amount, we would pay it. They are our lovelies.
He has had all his pills for today, sulpha and two AB's. Nap time was pretty none existent, I was resting with one eye open as he lay down next to me. A couple of "visits", but generally ok.
Charley's pus cat sounds very much the same as Pepe long stockings, fine at home, NOT fine at the vets.
I am glad you like his name
Saturday is being pushed into the distant memory. It was too much for us all. Far too much, I am not good walking in ankle deep mud and water, to arrive and sit on a chair that sinks like a brick.  :?
I am keeping the Tramadol to 6 at the most, not the 8 I can take. Always leave something left in reserve. It is a strong drug, doesn't make me particularly sleepy, just more vacant than normal
Potter, sit, stand, potter, sit, stand, repeat.................I will rest my facets as much as possible lol.
The Bush Babies are here and helping themselves in the biscuit tin. The pus cats are not worried about them.
Tomicat is a big softie, although no one must know. He is quite proud of Jericat and our lovelies. Apparently he is often at Hogwarts, learning new skills and spells from Minerva.
I am sure it won't be long before pompholyx pops up. I am very impressed with the creams, the face oil is also anti ageing, reading reviews from other purchasers. As a wrinkle phobic person, any lotion or potion that helps, is worth its weight in gold.
Esmeralda the warthog, what a lovely name, bless her. Big tusks though  :?
Take care on your busy day today
Hi Carol - don't worry, you obviously needed to catch up from your family visits, travelling and visiting is more tiring than we realise.
Lillie will be looking forward to her Mermaid - is there a knitting pattern for one?
I am glad your your Daughter is feeling much better, nasty virus that was. The steroids and nebulisers / inhalers are doing the trick.
I guess the AB's were intravenous in hospital, to get to the problem asap.
Years, yes, there are some in the shed, right on the top of the cupboard at the back, they are heavy, so Miss Sleek or Pepe will levitate one down for you. You can slice them up and use them as required, a bit like a big cake
Not long before you go to the rescue shelter for a puskin. I could not go, I would have to bring them all home and be the mad cat man in the woods 7 months since Snowie passed away, goodness, that time has flown.
Take care and rest well.
I had better do a bit more pottering (again). Hi to everyone Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.

Morning everyone.
Back from a lovely long weekend on a canal boat on the Thames with the family. We stayed on the bank in some lovely hotels so it was quite a costly weekend but hey ho. Collect my parents off the boat on Thursday and take them to the airport then have my brother and SIL staying for another week.
Glad to hear Tomicat is being useful if my absence. He is a big softy.

afternoon to everyone, breezy and forecast for stormy weather later this evening and overnight.
Hi Kerrin, the long week end sounds wonderful, on a house boat and some lovely hotels and why not eh. We have to live in life and take the opportunity when we can.
Parents going back to SA on Thursday and then more family coming to stay, lovely. Tiring, but lovely none the less.
Tomicat is being very helpful indeed and is the biggest softy, underneath that super cool look 8)
I hope married life is suiting just fine
Hi Joan, I think we are recovering slowly, I am taking less Tramadol today, they are effective, but they mess with your head and my brain is mush half the time anyway
I hope you and Sue and the doggies managed to get out and about today.
So you will be needing make up remover I take it, for your glasses Mig  oooops.
Three apple and cream buns Kath, that's fine, they are all fat free, calorie free and never ending, bliss.
Glad you did the Sawley Trail today. Tomorrow is pretty horrid from the forecast. We have to go out to the local Hosp, my podiatry appointment in the afternoon. I need the farriers
The little kitten is GORGEOUS and we want him / her right now.
Hi Barbara, so you lost the morning, I guess we did, but it was productive, B decided to throw SO much stuff out of his wardrobes, a car full of things to go to the tip and the charity shop. Just stuff that gathers and breeds in cupboards.
I have been pottering for most of the day so far, dusting and fussing and washing and drying, more fussing and cleaning what I can reach, leaving the rest for B. Keeping moving has helped I think.
Ok, I won't change, I don't think I could now.
Pepe is being very good with his meds, he doesn't exactly like taking them, but with Matron popping them to the back of his throat, he has no choice, in and gone
All the animals that we ever see at the vets are either hurtling out of the door, being carried in, climbing up their owners shoulders, as one little shitzu was doing yesterday, bless. They can smell the vets a mile off.
I hope you and or your GD have success with the creams too. I have been so engrossed in pottering I have forgotten to put any on today. I will do though. It works well for psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, scars, etc.
So you have a new radiator, only a two year wait   bless him.
I think your weather forecast will be very similar to ours, windows shut tight and hang on to your hats if you have to go out.
While B was clearing out, he found some pictures, this one was a pastel one, which my Dad did many years ago. He was a clever man.

We found one of Bill and I, when we were young and I didn't have 6 chins and 10 bellies :?
I hope everyone else is ok, Toni, Christine, Carol, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.
Pepe will be speaking with Miss Sleek later, he is in recovery mode today, seems to be doing ok, pills working. Bit fussy over his food, but that is nothing new. I am sure he will be quite dramatic about the meds, when talking to Miss Sleek.
Right, it is meds time for moi and Tosca. So I will love you and leave you. Let me go see what we can have with our cuppa's.
Take care XXXX Aidan

Evening all What a lovely sunny day we’ve had here today. The men doing the drive have made really good progress too
Joan we have had a good day here lots of sunshine I hope you got some too?
Mig oh dear :? had to clean your glasses now have you?!
Kerrin yes Tomicat is happy to help now bless him.
Sounds as though you’ve had a good trip in a canal boat on the Thames! The cost is irrelevant if you made good memories I would love that It will be sad to see your parents off at last you have your bro and SIL a while longer.
Aidan Miss Slimkins has been beside herself today! She’s been listening to my audio book with me and the main characters are in Pendle!! They are on their way to Lytham so you can imagine: “Me and Pepe went there…!” I am pleased to hear Pepe’s tummy is recovering the poor boy it must be dreadful for him. Cats are so clean and private. Miss S is still under the impression it’s his paw so I’ve let her think that. She has heard about Daddy making him eat nasty poison, but I explained it was to make his ‘paw’ better. VERY dramatic indeed
You are wise to keep the trammies to 6, we all need something up our sleeves for emergencies don’t we? Even better it’s been less today Yes potter a little sit a little and lie down a little in your case
Bush-babies seem to have a 6th sense about biscuit tins don’t they? Heheehe! I hope their paws are helping a little?
Almond franginpine tart!! Yes perlease!! Jersey cream? So long as there’s plenty!!
What an amazing picture your Dad did Who is the pusskin? You can see his/her character coming through!! He was very talented. Are you going to post the slim one of you are Bill on fbook?
Kath I’m glad you’re still doing the Sawley trail By the way I ADORE the little white fluffy kitten
Hi Barbara don’t worry choir is on Thursday night. Today has been visiting my friend this morning then ex MIL then back to sort out the workmen cook the dinner collapse and now I’m finally here!!
I can’t wait to see Carol’s cat too – exiting stuff eh? Hopefully he/she will be good at the vet! :? Your little doggy had sense really; if I could I would walk away from the Drs!!! BUT I would love to meet you
One shattered Toni off to bed now :animal_busy:
Love to everyone xxx0 -
A very windy and wet evening here in the Ribble Valley, rain is lashing at the windows :?
Hi Toni, that's good to hear about the drive work coming on well, that is in preparation for the ramp isn't it?
Ohh, what is the book, not mist over pendle? I am sure she is beside herself, if they are talking of Lytham and remembering with wistful pleasure, the trip along the beach and flying out over the bay. Many ((())) from Pepe longtsockings.
Indeed, the hundreds of pills that I am forcing him to have  are for his sore paw. He is being a wee bit dramatic about the numbers. I thought Miss Sleek had taught him his numbers. Quite when one equals a hundred...............bless.
He has had no "troubles" since yesterday early evening, so we are hoping things have settled down and the nasty pills from the horrendous vet, are working
He was fussing in the cloaks cupboard, checking that his brooms was ok, it did a lot of fizzing then I think he pressed "shutdown" on it for a day or two, until the weather improves. He must have, because it didn't fizz when I went near it. He did chat to Miss Sleek, Jericat and Tomicat over the crystal ball, making sure that everyone knew about the wickedness of the vets.
I have cut down to three Tramadol today, so that is an improvement. Pushing 60 pills a day is like a full time job
The bones have gone back to their more normal levels of pain and discomfort.
The Bush Babies have been most helpful, they have gone back to the Sanctuary tonight, I am sure they went in the fridge and borrowed some chocolate. :?
Oh, that frangipane tart looked so good I was almost drooling. There is plenty left in the fridge for any late arrivals.
the puskin picture, I have no idea of the cats name, owner or whereabouts, I do remember him showing me the picture, years ago, but that was the last time we had seen it, until it appeared today, when B was clearing out wardrobes. It is now up in the lounge, looking lovely
The picture of moi and Bill, from many years ago, I might put it on FB, I will see. It is a nice pic, but very red tinged, or had I been on the sunbeds again, probably the latter
No wonder you had to collapse, you have had a busy day, here, there and everywhere. Rest Maam. I hope you slept well.
Mum is not brilliant, B's Brother rang and said she sounded very weary and could hardly be bothered to speak. B rang later and she said she was ok but very tired. The D Nurse is coming tomorrow, so we want to try and catch her and insist that Mum is seen on a more regular basis, as there is a definite decline and more help is going to be needed. If we miss her, I am sure B will phone them.
That said, we will remain as upbeat as we can and always on hand.
It is time for a potter, I don't want to set.
Oh, before I potter, take a look at this litte baby Pygmy Possum. It takes cuteness to a WHOLE new level and we need them in the Sanctuary asap. Blessssssssssssss.

I will ask Johnny to gather some, I am sure they will get on with the Bush Babies.
We are feeling cleansed, after B turfed out all the accumulated things, new waterproof cushions for outdoor seating, (next door took them, they fit their garden swing perfectly) The car is full and a trip to the tip is on the cards for today.
Podaitry, check on Mum n Dad, shopping, tip, that should be all.
Better move again, Hi to everyone, Christine, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.
Take lots of care XXX Aidan
