Just calling in to leave some spoons and warm hugs while me dongle and unreliable lappie is still working. :?

Have got me chocolate buttons ready for the sheepsies birthdays.

Please try and stay unright if you can today. That knee saving the hands trick sounded painful but I know you have to do what you have to do. We got the partial thaw too which is worse than the snow as far I am concerned. Was never any good at ice skating even with two good hips!

Not sure if any sales this weekend for you? I am kinda hoping not but then I know you need them so am in a quandry on that one. :? Either way I hope the payback is kept to a minimum for you. Get in them embers when you can with the cuppas and CDM.

'He''s managed to drag a bit of a thaw this far north.. bless 'im.. so he's havin a play in the snow with Ruby while I cook him his fav veggie sausages and mash.

I hope after the sales today you're not as sore now....with your feet, hands and your back. :roll: and your knees. :shock:

Snow here in yorkshire (my bit anyway) is staring to thaw and leave a scruffy mess. I want to go out and put it in a nice pile :? :roll: but cant..

The Saturday sale takes it out of me more than any of them but now its back to me having to do it every week.... I go out a lot.... Chris you understand that and there are railings..... I end up using them to try and shut the lumber up a bit. come home and am shaking in both legs and arm....

did do the poorly ones jab... Stamp's could learn a lot on a well behaved sheep and injections She looks a bit brighter and will talk to the vets again Monday..... more jabs I think... hey neat penicillin.... about the same weight... I wonder?!

He is allowed to come to next weeks sat sale.... if he behaves..... what are the chances?! he helps sell hing though so he might find himself dragging the chair he has been tied to all over the car park... or worse all the nicely laid out stalls.....(((( )))) xx

Oh the ice flower... permafrost and rain with light mud gos to make slippy beyond belief mud..... Haven't fallen today though cus well I sort of walking in a way that makes me look even odder than the drunken gorilla I normally have......

Hope the thaw really gets u to you.... i shall be some glad when its gone.. but for me its been so nice not to be wallowing in mud...Guess that coming back but its no where near as bad as it was after the floods.....

Ye a tropical 5 degrees and you know what it feels warm till you add in the damp and the wind

I am bellowing it up country as fast as I can and he really is trying to drag the thaw up there..... he is side tracked with iris and the loons for now but he will come back to it

Not sure how you've done it Cris, but we've had a heatwave here today........it's been all of 7C and I'm not used to it!

This morning was OK, but now the rain........coming down in shedfuls........

I still don't know how you manage Cris.........although I do understand about the 'if you have to, you have to'.

Glad the sheepy seems a little brighter...........I can imagine them all with their smiley faces.........

The elephant corset is lovely.... how did you know my size... the clue in elephant I think Hell I been a beached whale, a hippo and now an Ellie so guess I am improving and going up

Well it is dripping still outside, so thaw is well set in .... thank goodness as the pile of snow hubby shovelled off the path has to be seen to be believed! :shock: Might never see the end of the drive again

Mind, there is rather a weight of snow on the roof, and the guttering was checked in the summer but might have cracked :roll: or a joint has broken ..... will have to get them back to look when it has all gone. soon .... hopefully

hope you get some sleep tonight as that always helps me manage the pain. Yesterday struggled as I was only taking half the meds I needed, till the chemist coughed up the owing stuff, then I was back to full dose & slept better. Will send you down a super-strength sleep potion if you like, but you'd better have the super-strength wake-up one on standby for when the phone rings

right ...... off to have a final look round then I'm off to my bed so will wish you good night and 'see' you tomorrow

forgot to say - what's in the garden is fairly hardy, though some new plants might have got hurt a bit, but lots survived last winter - and came back even better - so only time will tell!

Thanks for bellowing some of your warm weather up hre, beautiful outside but still very cold. I too wish the cold weather would go away, but afterall it is winter. (parents say winter was always winter in their day and summer was hot too) :roll:

You asked in my thread about my stump wound, Thnkyou that is kind of you. Well i am still putting a antibiotic cream on it and the redness has gone back to normal, the hole has sort of blocked up and you think it is getting better and starting to heal but I know better. All of a sudden it can just erupt and back to square one. (this is something I may have to live with :? )
You see I dont walk at all only to get to my car, and thats a struggle. I am on motorized equipmet both in and out of house.
So because I am not mobile on my own steam the surgeon doesn't want to give anothr op as it is difficult for me, and cant guarantee it anyway. next option is remove more leg :shock: and its short enough .Plus that scares the cr**p out of me. :oops: If i walked around alot it would be another story. I am happy at that. Besides I have other issues at the moment with neck.

Well my friend hope the ground isnt too muddy for you, Keep them feet warm as poss.

regards to the sheeps, particularly the poorly one, and littlelegs sends lots of slurps and wags to her special friends (she is trying to be extra nice to them now she knows they know where certain items are kept I hope they are locked up tight or there might be a raid for a midnight feast :roll: )

Hey so much to the thaw..... even the A30 has ice on it and you'd think they would make the effort to at least do that one! (sorry teasey as hell tonight.... I do have a note though )

feel over yet another frozen rut today.... went through the ice covering the sheeps doorway and slipped so I hit the door some hard..... Have to ware hunters cus f mud again and got stood on the ruptured chilblain by her ladyship in search of the sugar rush....

did what we do....

burst into tears and yelled at the sky about the fairness that seems to be my life!

Had the birthday party, hence the sugar rush seeker, then she had an injection as her after.....

She ain't well you know.... worrying like hell now as tomorrow I shall have to grove for more drug else get one of them out.... the ulcer though proved not to be linked to worry is now banging a well as the back, feet, arms, hands, neck and ribs.

I shall go it in the corner and eat some worms i think.....

You all stay warm cu the thaw has retreated and back to the good old minuses and heavy deep frosts the feet just love so much!

please try and get some good rest, in the hope it will help some of your pains & help you to bear the rest with your usual fortitude.

These 5 am starts...... well..... I get woken at 5 weather I stay awake seems to be in the lap of the gods tires me out so much, then all the lugging and heaving... and dog food just isn't light eh?!

I will honestly try to do the other thing, kicked up the backside by huge vet bills to come and helped by your encouragement should do it eh?

Tis this cold I think... have had it now for 10 weeks.... mtx isnt working but its certainly lowered the immune system

That intercorstrail thing makes breathing hurt... yeah I know the fresh air don't help :shock: :shock:

Littlelegs will have to work hard to get past Miss Sugar Rush 2010 She loves jammy dodgers with custard apparently.... didn't like the eclair though... now I could have eaten that

I see you are struggling again with the computer connections. I hope you have not got this awful freezing fog. The paths are lethal we all need a ton of rock salt sending. Do think we could bulk buy? Oh flower you are having a rotten time there. The ground is like rock but I suppose the mud is worse for you. I’m I too late for the birthday party? Custard creams and CDM ok do you think? We could all dress like the Michelins man. That way we could roll home. x:))

sorry not been around much over last few days - but will tell you why - without stealing your thread

my eldest granddaughter - 18months old - was rushed to Tr hospital on Wed with croup - went down wed evening and then went to pick them up on Thursday :!: my eldest son works for the lot that grit the A roads and he was sent out Wed night with the snow plough - waste of time that was but he didnt finish till 8am :!: . We have also had problems with the new granddaughter - she keeps being sick and has got thrush in her mouth . Things have only settled down today :!:

And yes it has taken its toll on me - but am not as bad as you so no sympathy please :!:

Please, Please take care of yourself - i keep telling you that but you seem to keep having alsorts going wrong

Hi all

I see Cris hasn't made it in yet tonight (or I haven't noticed her but maybe I'm not looking in right place ) but I did have a text from her earlier.

The vet is to visit her poorly sheep tomorrow, so fingers crossed it is nothing too serious. Can't be too careful though.

Cris said they had a lot of ice and a heavy frost, so hopefully that means no more mud for a bit. (every cloud has a silver lining or so they say ) though I think by now she'll be welded to the fire.
