There are far too many drunks about nowadays. Healthy people throwing their lives away....

I am so sorry to read about your sickness and pain and lack of sleep. Can only leave you a gentle hug and hopes for a better time ahead.

    Hi Eileen,

You know I think of you a lot as well... ever since I joined you been there and I won;t forget it ever!

Got everything crossed for you and the ortho.... you don't know how much I wish just one person would help you! Love and a bucket of ((((( ))))) Cris xx

    .... Twas hard tonight.....

The snort is now lose... knee high and signally thinking everything might be food for her..... She isn't too friendly and heres the thing....

I really don't trust pigs.... I saw one almost take a guy's arm off when I was a kid.... They really can bite....

I don;t think she will though and Bestboy.... I Salli so miss him as he has now become so much more friendly.... He is an only boy as well....

He comes for hay and a bit of attention but he doesn't push his luck too far, though he did hep carry the hay over...

i must get them home... I really just need a tow bar... but every night I so early just sling them in the car.....

In the old days you could do that but now.... Deffra lets not start on deffra.....The only thing i hate more than the bones

There is a plan at foot.....

They are coming home soon but it will be so much easier...

I hurt carrying hay.. I have to get it just right and well its a few yards and playing chase me with a\ bullock now taller than me... they have such huge heads as well.....isn't conducive to a good hay carry.....

Crazy isn't it the things we in sit we can do... and I can but it all at a price....

I think he is a Limousin.... I love those and he is very gentle lad and unobtrusive to boot......I think the sheep do need to come home before he goes... I am still upset about Panda....

    Sorry I am rambling....

Tomorrow, subject to getting any sleep, I will finish the shear and get the fence sorted... Any of you about to help will be very welcome cus its my 'old friend' the pounder.... I can only just lift it so you lot have to help me......

The sheep are very important to me.. so is my way of life but i would be a fool if I said I was good at it now a days.....

I said to my baby tonight (her ladyship is known by many names  ) when she comes home everything will be better for her....

I have a plan B for when/if the resstion ever lifts.....

    I have a plan F as well.....

I must do that cus I need to make things easier and that means I need to earn a bit more money.....

I just need some confidence.... Long ago I worked for a boss who was actually a very good trainer... he used to say confidence is gained not assumed.... I guess now a days I understand what he meant....

Right I shall go chase some zzzzz#s You all take care and I know so many of you are down and struggling and just leaving a ((((( ))))) for you and know your not forgotten. xx

Glad you have nicked the laptop back and how are you doing? (((((((((( )))))))))))and a cuppa xx

    Hi DD,

The pregabs are very strong and sometimes they head rush me..... I had a stressful sheep visit cus of the snort so that wouldn't have helped....

Trying a new pain routine and was only sick once... will adjust the pregabs or take them a lot earlier cus the head rush isn't too good to have like that... mind this time it was all cartoons.....and graphic form the sheep game

The tree must know I have a chain saw ready

Hope your okish and leaving tea and a ((((( ))))) xx

    What are we doing???

    Honestly??

In France at the Gite they had a smaller pounder than yours but a pounder it was - l thought of you and considered half-inching it.....but sadly am too honest

    n015.gif

    Shall chop sum wood
n030.gif and would some hammering help at all???

Glad the regime has helped a bit at least...

    Hi Toni,

    They make smaller pounders

You know how big this one is and how heavy.... It does work but hell its hard on the shoulders and arm and back and neck.... oh and the knees as well

We sorting out their fence and the coats so they can come out...... May make Breagh more difficult of course but....

Got to get some hay first though... good bales are like gold dust.....and cost the earth! Mind the bad ones also cost the earth only thats what they have in them... earth and yuck.....

Sorry hay is an obsession as you know

Got the flask and we gong via the junk shop cus I got me them curtains....

Tea first and a ((((( ))))) with a and a hope your ok today? xx

Got the cuppa. Got the pasty. (All of it, I think. What's up with her?) Bit late reporting for duty I know but, if you've still got that pole I can slide down from me roof, fireman style (I seem to be obsessed with firemen right now), and get stuck in to a bit of bashing and hammering. (We talking floors or people today?)

well was just sat here reading all this and thinking what does cris look like what is her house like and the sheep who half the time sound half sheered(well last year) but my imagination nothing like the real thing cris i imagine you in jeans t shirt and cotton shirt over it boots on feet long hair(not sure why) brown colour with straw in. your house stone built steep stairs bit on dark side because of small windows but with lovely views all around your age always think of you as same age as me for some reason.
do hope you doing ok thinking of you val

The sheep do sped a lot of time being half done Val  Its so hard to bend to get them done but the real problem is the speed i can go at cus of the useless hands..... still..... they are getting there and they don't much mind.....

The house bit.... thats plan b  Saying that the barn is just as you describe it but this is a big old style park home. It wasn't meant to be this way... but temporary became a lot longer

Right so far no head rush.. and you know I am so tired if there is one it can just get one with it cus i going to sleep  I so hope its not about to call my bluff on that

Well skezier, I've had the sort of day where you need to keep sitting down between bursts (if that's not too grand a word) of activity and every time I've sat down here you've been encouraging someone else so here's one for you.

I hope things are....well....I guess 'slightly improving' is about the most realistic best I can suggest. We wouldn't want you to suddenly feel 100% cos you might desert us and, besides, you probably wouldn't know how to handle it, but just passing a bucket of medium grade energy down from the roof and hoping it'll make a sligjht difference. Look after yourself. If you do that even half as well as you look after the rest of us you'll be OK.

Wondered if you could do with some 'help' with the curtains??
Ruby, Wally and TT offering their services  though I'm not sure given their combined ages, silliness and lack of control..that it's such a good idea!

soooo glad the exzperiment is working and you are at last able to get some sleep :!:

Cris I am glad to hear that you are sleeping better and not feeling so sick I hope it continues.
Pusky(real name Abby) says she can help with the curtains she will stick her claws in for you and hold then still while you work.

I am sure you will get everything done in your own time, it doesn't matter how long it takes you are always doing you best and then some I am always amazed at the amount you do.

Sticky after your bare hug with haz maddie says she will give you a big sloppy kiss.

Sending you some extra energy drafts (they seem to travel quite well) and extra special kisses from maddie

Ps maddie says to tell you she has a pet hedgehog living in the garden

    Hi Cris,
Well a box turned up but there was a large hole in the side and only one tail feather left inside! He is probably still hitching a ride and wearing his white scarf permanently stuck out behind him. Hummm, rabbits??Used to have a huge rabbit called iffy...if he stays or if he goes, he was dumped in out front garden, he was a new Zealand white straight from the magic circle. We kept him for 7 yrs (would have fed 6 at a pinch).
Good to hear that you are sleeping better. I do hope you get the girls home soon and you find some better grade hay as a welcome home present. Not easy to get at the moment I know. The curtains sound grand and I’m sure you will get them sorted before much longer. I changed mine this week, I think I will go for the nails in the wall look next time.
    Hugs as always,

    Hi Cris

Forgive me, I am a tad lost on this thread at the moment due to a severe shortage of spoons and only a rare chance to look in on you all. Both work hassles and my visitor still here for another couple of weeks is leaving me andd arther a tad more frazzled than usual!! :???:

There is some talk of sleeping experiments, which I hope are helping and curtains! but beyond that I fear I am rather out of the loop which is nothing new!.

Just wanted to call in and leave a few hugs, I haven't forgotten you all. Do hope the sickness stays away and the bones behave a bit better than of late. Will leave a bucket or two of cope and a decent cuppa with some of these ((((( )))) Hang in there.
    love
