I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

    Hi Julie and Speedy,

Your both in my thoughts a lot as well you know.

Things are hard sometimes but I have known a long time the diabetes might be there...... I got this ultra dry mouth and always thirsty, I some tired (mine the pa, the one I wont have and the IBD are very capable of doing that  ) I overweight, move at a snails pace and have a huge family history.......

We shall see but going to go in for the bloods having done the starve one so at least it will be a true reading.....

Julie I really hope things are ok with you and your not getting to worried? ((((( ))))) xx

Speedy how is S and did you win or is it still going on? Was thinking about you the other day and so glad you have popped in.

Hope your doing ok and not overdoing it all? ((((( ))))) and a bit of coffee cake for you and S xx

Right, I am doing my best to manufacture some more blue copes (I rather fancy a kingfisher blue, a smart navy and another sky) but it all depends on which copes get it on with which. That bit is out of my hands but I am doing my best with the dimmed lights, Melanie Gardot quietly in the background and free-flowing champagne. Copes are temperamental little blighters and none are here at the moment as Regal Bingo has an offer on and they all swanned off there - Mr DD however suddenly has hands everywhere. Gerroff! I'm busy!

Once the skin has calmed try the aqueous cream, that may well help to keep any future trouble at bay. As for the rest of it, ye gods girl, I dunno. Your hopeless and useless mate, DD.

    Hi DD,

My old lad is a lot better now he has a trainee but mt sure if the trainee learns too much by making tea......

This old chap is royal blue but I think thats not possible to create in the captive breed ones as this one cam off the moors....

Hell you man the skin will calm down.....

Tis evil now and in several places which makes it really hurts.....

I will go sky rant cus thats about the only thing I got left to fightback with......

You want a sentence chucked in?! ((( ))) and a many hands removal position.. if you want one  xx

Sorry I’ve been so quiet but I nodded off on the roof here.

I quite fancy a bit of thunder & lightening sky ranting. You up for it?

    Hi Val,

Glad you and your Mum were able to get a bit of a walk in yesterday. It does help to relive the stress.

I kinda know how hard it is but not how you feel as I didn't have a very close relationship with my father. He ended up having a pace maker for a number of years and was fine so if it does come to that ...

Try not to get too worried.

I know for me it was different flower but thinking of you and leaving ((((( ))))), some extra strength and energy buckets as well as a bucket of hope. Cris xx

    Hi Sunlounger

I expect your brown as well? I got rain scald .... see you haven't got that have you

Good to have you back Toni and I genuinely aren't jealous.

Thanks for the sun... it needs to be turned up a little but at least its sort of arrived  ((((( ))))) and a decent cuppa xx

    Hi Barbara,

I can't say i never swore before.... but the sky rants are a bit like turning the little thing on a pressure cooker....

Still there is a bit of good here...

The skin thing is improved and actually going to turn into psoriasis I think but after being so sore it good to have it this settled....

Bout time cus I have been wondering round modeling the victorian waif.... long skirt and Frankie's boots :lol:

Going to try jeans tonight cus I went to the sheep like this yesterday and it was windy and the skirt kept billowing....

Scared Bre to the other side of the shed several times

Hope you had a good week end and leaving you a ((((( ))))) and a share if the tea... best make a pot eh?! xx

Right those of you on Pregabs....

    They are after them!

Had a call from the gp's today trying to get me to swap them for something else or cut down on them as they cost so much..... i said no and said since I was having add ins to the pain control why did he think I could reduce the best part of it.....

he said he was just seeing as I might have improved....

I juts laughed and said if oa improved without replacement I anted that kind!

Just be aware they are after them as there is no generic and they are expensive...... xx

    Hey Cris

To borrow DD's phrase - "ye Gods!!!!" What on earth is the GP thinking of and how very DARE they ask you to give up something which helps you on the basis that they need to reduce their budget! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

BUT, good news is that I was looking in the owl box earlier and all the owlets have now fledged. I was going to say that there is now plenty of room for CDM supplies, but think it would be better used for hiding your pregabs so the docs can't nick them!

Love, ((()))s and a deer nudge.

    Hi Tilly,

Glad they have fledged, they did look like they would soon.

Hey he didn't half back down when i said I would talk to the rumo and pain doc about it.....

Its pregabs flower not the ampies but without them the nhs will have one less patient cus I have had to drop the does or take them off me..... I did say they would hardly be adding in the patches if the pain was all better!

Morin that doc eh? Never seen him and you know what.... don't want to.

Its a sign of the times eh?!

Just cleaned up the deer's collar again.... he is a messy erk eh?! Sheep slobber I think... her ladyship was a bit put out that she has less emeralds in here tiara.....

Love, tea and a big bit of cdm Cris xx

    Hi Barbara,

OH jeans is the real me.... this is a long skirt and thankfully didn't make it over my head....

It was billowing out the sides and scaring Bre witless  I think its Frankie's boots is what makes it the Victorian waif look

I shall try the jeans later... be honest the skirt may look stupid but it has meant the skin has had a bit of a chance.....

Hey it would certainly destroy my street cred :lol: ((((( ))))) Cris xxx

I thought it was getting a bit warm up here.

Me? I'm into proper bearhugs. Brackets just don't do it for me but I shall accept these gratefully - provided you've dropped that metal pole.

    Hi Cris,
Good news about the skin showing signs of healing, not so sure if it is turning into psoriasis though I do hope not.

Like the sound of the waif look, have you got the linen mop bonnet to go with??? May be Bre would recognise the crook with the blue ribbons on it.
Sorry gone off on one there. Anyway I hope you get your results through soon and good for you for standing up to that doctor.
    Hugs as always,

    Hi Cris

Jeepers How very dare they try to stop your half decent meds there! So glad you told them nicely it was NOT acceptable, good for your lass.

Hope the skin is easing there, I will keep my fingers crossed and yep good to see Toni back in the fold (even with her tan, me jealous, never?  )

Hang in there Cris and if you could put a word in on your next sky rant I would be grateful. :???: There are so many temporary staff at Wonkas at the moment we are bursting at the seams and still struggling to get the orders out quick enough.

Love to the employers and I hope you are catching up some rest when you can.
Buckets of hugs and hope (((( )))) with a bit of bestest fudge.

    Morning Little Bo Peep,
    Who ain't lost her sheep
And does know where to find them.
She does not leave them alone
    They will soon be home
    Dragging our Skez behind them.

(I would like to know why I am NOT Poet Laureate. It's well overdue.)

I am so glad to hear that the skin is improving - keep it moisturised with whatever you have to hand (not surgical spirit or Voltarol however), I too am disgusted that they want to remove the preg, ye gods, they have not served you well in any way, shape or form down there in their lack of treatment, how very dare they. Two blue copes despatched. DD

well i am sure you are full of smiles reading toni and dds reply. They made me smile and sticky .... I wondered why we had such warm weather yesterday...didn't realize it was due to cris holding a pole

cris I hope you are not too bad today and there is a dress in the post.....no, its not frilly, more like what julie andrews wore in the sound of music, thought you may like now you are wearing skirts

Glad your skin is improving and hope it doesn't turn into psoriasis.

    Take care
