Morning Cris
In the absence of being able to do anything practical to help (I'm scared of copes, got bitten by a bad tempered one once - boy do they have sharp teeth! and I would be positively dangerous if I tried to assist with the ramp making etc  ) so sending comfort in the only way I know how - tea, ((()))s and a gentle deer nudge.
Thinking of you loads.
Tillyxxx0 -
If ever a cope had to do overtime this one has Oh DD he is lovely.... I wonder if he needs a chain?
mine might like a friend and maybe the poor little **** would like to be retired
I bit better with some of it today.....
Kinda stopped the really bad re-runs, the really, really bad ones will ease off to soon cus like you said he has gone!
I did have to go... the sm asked me to and well also I thinkI had to go for my self. Will have to do the ashes thing but wont do the will thing cus got an excuse already lined up for that one...... i was disinherited but....well.... sm seems to think I am not....... we shall see eh?
more agro if I was put back in cus elder brother dear was really pleased he would get some of mine..... if there is any.... and I don't expect there to be to be honest.
Hey might be able to get some concrete for the swamp
Leaving you a huge (((((( ))))) and a thank you for a back up trainee cope..... I did need one I think xx
Hi Tilly,
The ramp making...... well I am still thinking how can I do it that will work The deer would like one as well cus they do find steps hard really....
My cope was the bad tempered one and ran wild on the moors.... went up with a trap and got him when I was a kid ( Visualization don't half help get you out of a bad situation eh ) Cant remember what i used for bait either but i got him and he tamed to a point....
he did run off once hence his anchor chain.....
had a job re catching him a I remember... he was in Colin's shed for a min, Wonky and miss L Legs were out with their binoculars and Toni was busy checking all the place. We did find him and stuck out a special cope trap....
Soft duvets, tea, chocolate you know the kind of thing they just need.....
After I had managed to get Toni out the trap the cope went in
Hopefully DD's ones being breed in captivity don't need the anchor chain but i am mean bough to have a spare one in case
Hey it was different kind of day,. I was surprised at how much it upset me.... I really was surprised but for the wrong reasons I guess....
Good to see father's extended family though cus I hadn't seen them for so long. the dogs were fairly well behaved.....and played with the kids which was good for us all....
Hey i clean still... I actually was shocked to Dee i still can was talking to SM and she spent the whole time we were talking absentmindedly taking dog hair off my jacket...... she hate it here
The Dee is sat by my feet and got his head on my lap..... I polished up his emerald and jeweled collar so he looks lovely..... sheep will soon have that right mind....
Tea and cdm in the owls box and did you notice the baby owls are ready to fly? ((((( ))))) Cris who must go back to her padded cell now xx

hi Cris how are you doing today , i am thinking maybe rattling and a bit greasy with yet more motions potions and lotions ,hugs a bundle xxI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0
-
Hi Cris,
I do hope it is not diabetes and they are only checking that to eliminate it. Well the ramp will be appreciated by the employers so the motivation will be strong to get it sorted. It was so boggy for you last winter it was only luck that you didn’t leave your boots stuck in there. Have you managed to sort out the part time helper?
Push for the OT thing if you can as they can sort a few things out for you, I know more fighting the system but maybe the new doctor can push things for you. Love the breeze block idea for the bed.
SM will only see what she wants to see and loyalty will be strong in her at the moment. I am glad you got the chance to talk to some of the relations though.
Hugs as always,
Lv, I x0 -
Evening all
It must seem like I've been awol from this thread, but honestly I do read everything (often using my phone which won't let me post) and swap news with Cris, but don't always think to come on here using the big machine and show my support in public
Cris has asked me to post a little update on here, as she's had one of those days she'd rather forget today, and really does need an early night. Mind, she said that last night, but ended up doing heavy duty unscheduled armchairing instead, which can't have made today any easier!
Cris has paid the local pharmacist a visit today, restocked on her meds of many descriptions and we'll all be hoping they work their magic eh? Failing magic, some good would suffice I think!
Oh, for those who were concerned, she said to say that the cattle are back  so I'm hoping she remembered to pay the toll tonight
I'll pass on your messages to Cris, and you can be assured that I have lent her Miss L Legs in full matron costume, to tend to her every need. Not sure that she's grateful, but well, it diverts her attention
hugs (((())))

I've only just read this thread. I have missed a lot! Please give Crismy love and gentle hugs ((( ))) and I am sorry for not posting before as I've been wrapped up in my tiny problems but when I read about Cris It gives me a massive wake-up call and thanks for my family.
I think she should write a book!

..... Iris xxxx0 -
Hi Berty, Wonky, Poppy, Val, I, Barbara, Elizabeth and Iris,
First thanks to Berty and Wonky for pa'ing while my regular one is off sunning her self Sat in rain while she sends me pics of really nice beaches and sun Still not jealous
The original thing was caused by a reaction to something be it washing power, soap, bodyspray, the clothes them self, or what ever else you might care to blame..... like the mtx making the skin waeker so the reaction was a bit ott....
Got a bit of antibiotic, some creams and cus its is common to have a kind of ulceration thing with diabetes and mother, a brother and sister have type 2 and father had type 1 they are sort of thinking the tiredness and the dry mouth (we somehow beamed the dry eyes out of the place  ) could mean I have it.
I get regularly tested and its often been positive n the first but neg on the fast one so this time I will fast so it might be a better reading eh? We doing it next bloods that from here on in will be done by a doc as they can at least get it out.....
Its more likely the circulation thing.. well thats what its always been besides I have 12 conditions and just DON'T have room for another 13 is hardly a lucky number
Some of you poor long suffering souls might remember that i lost a sheep on the 13th as well as father dying on the 13th.... in his case... well....
I been throwing u again and thats before the patches..... I really don't feel so good and if they did find diabetes maybe thats one they can control
Oh the girls will be home soon.... i am going for a tow bar next month...... that I can get them myself!
The cattle.... they went and now they are back... they either had the wrong paperwork or were deemed under weight..... i know which I think!
It was lovely to see them back and they are more people friendly than they were but its not easy with hay and I the ones with horns are back on your menu
I have to say to Iris its so good to see you! I miss seeing you about flower and I am not the only one.
You too Wonky and you never have to show public support.... you, Iris and my absent sun lounging pa Who tells me its warmer and she is go going brown are like pillars and have helped keep me up when I am sinking so much so please never say It or feel that.
Leaving a vat of tea, a bucket of good day for each and a ((((( ))))) Love Cris xx
The absent pa sends her love as well though and said she is missing you all. xx0 -

Cris, Now you do need to rest and i will send maddie down to help you with the cream and as a back up to Miss L Legs if you don't behave yourself.
I do hope things go well with the Diabetes test and the the creams start to help with the skin thing it is just one more thing you could do without.
Maddie and I are always here to help whenever you need us.
Maddie says she is looking forward to putting on her rubber gloves  I don't know what she has in mind but i would watch out if i were you.

Hi Joan,
Flower I am coasting as best I can cus some of this is now in real pain mode.... I do have things that can't wait and things that can sop I am trying to only do that which can't and wishing there were less of the can't waits and more of the cans
You get that scooter and police escort organised and haz said he will help with that plaster.... he has jigsaw training he says..... I don't believe hm ((((( ))))) and a hope for you flower. xx
Hi Berty,
Half of me is crying whats rest and the other half is saying go on like this and you will find out
Got to get the girls finished..... and got saddled with a job I could well do without by the appliance of emotional blackmail.... I need to toughen up eh?! (((( )))))and will go leave a message on you post now. xx
Hi Louise,
Your right what has happened to the weather... we's coasting Maid!
A mate is down and staying down west.... the sheeps are at the other st A as near as and you know what tis only us here that got this drizzle and cloud.....Not fair is it? You reacon its the pits somehow or more like its drffting our way from the moors so i will get on them bellow....
Miss l Legs did say she would but she then side tracked to help Maddie.....
If you see some fool running like an orangutan down the A30 being chased by two dogs in Nurses and Matron costumes, with the mad doctor doing circles around them... all wearing rubber gloves ... give her a lift
Hope things are a bit easy for you Maid and I am glad you popped in and leaving you a (((((( )))))) and a coffee. xx
Hi Tracey,
...... rubber gloves......  Guess I had best run now then a Miss L Legs has also got her very best starched and very correct tall hatted matrons costume on... Slipper boy has that mad look and the white coat with too many pens so when Maddie arrives they will do what ever it is they are up to.... I think the deer and the sheep are on call as back up to hold me down as well.....
Tracey did Maddie have an email earlier from Miss L Legs at all... Haz did and he has been huddled in the corner with Slurps ever since.....
Leaving you a ((((( ))))) and a promise I will get around to pm'ing in a min. xx
Hi Poppy,
You might share the sun you been having.... Hope your enjoying yourselves and thanks for the strength, tea and choc all much needed and appreciated. ((((( ))))) xx
my update..... things are worse today..... the cream ain't doing a lot and the surgical spirit has burned me a bit... oh what did I do to make the fates hate me so much....
Possibly the fact I yell at them so much has a bearing
Leaving hugs and tea so please feel free to help your selves xx0 -
Oh Cris
So sorry to see the recent updates, I haven't peeked in much lately, so forgive me for that. I don't even think a bit of sky ranting would help much at the moment even if you could find the energy for it. Hang in there flower and I hope you do find a few more things that can wait and some real help with the ones that we all understand simply can't. Please do ask those around you Cris, you really do need a break there.
Am thinking of you and sending soothing, healing, rest and buckets of cope. Lovely to see Wonky and Iris here too, love to you both if you get chance to peek in again.
Hugs and strength Cris. (((( ))))
love
Chris xx0 -
Hi Chris,
SOOOOOOOOOO good to see you
Oh flower 2 below and sinking I think..... Came in tonight and just wanted to sit and sob
You know I haven't had as much fight since they branded me with palliative care only......
Still tomorrow is another day and they can't all be shift
Hugs my friend and hitting-the ears with heavy duty euphoria helps
Hey did you manage a duvet day today? Really hope so. i thinking half of the morning can be one for me but the employers might have other ideas... I wish they could understand that their employee is not so good but they seem to be worse when I am not too good.... side glance at Gimpy and his bin crawling.....
Ti good to see you flower and leaving you a ((((( ))))) and a cuppa with a side dish of cope and hopes. Love Cris xxx0 -
Hi again Cris
I think the employers may well know you are needing a few decent duvet hours lovey, but the trouble is'...., well they rely on YOU and you alone to keep them safe and fed. There are too many if onlys eh? It really is a tough one :???:
In the meantime the plan is to leave the things that can wait and very kindly replying to me and others here so promptly really can, so please pretty please rest up when you can and know we will be here when you feel you have the energy to post or need us to dole out the tissues along with a few hugs. There really is nothing wrong with a good blub when you need one.
No duvet day today sadly. I was pushing wheelchairs round what should have been a beautiful sunny walled garden in the pouring rain. Mind you I did find it a tad easier once I realised the chair still had the brake partially on! It's been that sort of week.
Postive vibes for a smidge of a notch increase tomorrow for you, and leaving a sleeping draft with a side dish of fortitude and fight. You have more of the latter than you will ever know.
love always
Chris xx0 -
Hi Chris,
Sometimes we used to leave the breaks on accidentally on the waggons.... soft ground you just thing hell this chair is hard to push
Thanks for the strength flower...
I haven't been on the forums as much of late and its not fair if it becomes one sided. So when I am here I try.
How are you doing my frind? Hows the hip? I really hope things are ok with that?
I think Slurps is the one that sets the employers off.... She hates me crying and seem to be dong that of bit of late. Pain gets to you when it just wont stop and well
They breeds us as strong down..... I will be ok cus I am no where as bad as I was 10 year ago so will stay floating about.... in the.....
I did say to the gp the other day I hate hearing the palliative care thing cus i do understand why I am on it but don;t want my nose rubbed in it! Some of why they slung me on it it T's uselessness, some the lack of funding and some is cus I have too many things wrong now.....
If I have a stricture they might try for funding.... tis wrong when you want one of those
Hope you get a good rest up though your self flowr and that wonkers isn't too bad? You really have been working flat out judging form all the boxes that been appearing...... Hope Sunday goes easy for you and leaving a ((((( ))))) and a promise as soon as the pregabs let me I will crash. Love and a cuppa Cris xx0
