Hello Everyone
Most of you will remember , but for those of you who are fairly 'new' and don't know our Cris has a health issue which means she doesn't heal too well (very poorly actually) and gets very breathless and tired etc etc.
She has tried various treatments for this - recently tablets, but they didn't have enough impact and lowered her BP which is NOT so good
The treatment which is most effective, but the vilest   necessities her having a YUKKY yukky 'DRIP' over 5 days on a 'day' inpatient basis.
Cris really doesn't like this because there is a nasty nasty Wrad Sister (a lovely nurse usually works Mondays and Tuesdays and looks after Cris so hoping she will be ok at least for tomorrow/tue :???: ), her veins are INCREDIBLY elusive and it gives her a POUNDER of a headache as well as forcing her to vomit violently.
As you know our friend has quite enough going on health-wise without this  .
HOWEVER....she does need it and she does feel better with it done it is done (sometimes even on day 1 she can see 'colour' in her feet).
So l am asking you all if you would help me to support Cris and get her to the hospital. This is no easy task...her feet drag and she thinks up all sorts of excuses to avoid going.....
The folks on this forum have helped so much in the past and the support of us lot been all that has got her there at times.
Thank you all very much
Love
Toni xxx
PS so far so good she is AWAKE

I have a rocket & a few sticks of dynamite. Will they be sufficient? Skezier, I really, really feel for you - but you know it makes sense. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hello Cris
I am thinking of you so much. The deer asked me to tie strong rope round his antlers to "tow" you to hospital if need be! And his saddlebags are equipped with the newly polished bottomless tea flask. Loads of love, hugs and deer nudges.

You LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are fabulous x:-D
Well l do have an update for you all...
it has taken over an hour but the news is that the nice nurse has managed to get a line in!
So any minute now they will start the evil drug....but it is the only thing that works..... x:(
They have decided to do 6 hours a day pretty steady over the whole 5 days. sometimes they have to so it faster ( so you newer people understand) and that results in more vomiting and bad bad heads.
BUT....and l've saved this till last.....the BEST news is she wont have to have NS (nasty sister) ALL week!!! The nice one C is on today and tomorrow, another C -name weds and Thurs...not sure who Fri but def NOT NS x:-D x:-D
She has asked me to say a huge thank you to all of you and promises to call in to see you later and thank you herself.
Love
and thanks and hugs from me
