The lovely nurse came this morning and stabbed her as promised so that's another hurdle safely negociated.

Thanks sticky.....I'm curious how did you get the news? We were talking about that and she said you would be her PA but wasnt sure how she would get the messages to you :?
Anyway DD no matter how......I'm pleased to have heard.....home is the best place to be.....You take it easy...{not much choice }
I'm looking forward to hearing some of the highlights

I'm a rubbish P.A. :oops: I should have said she thanks you all for your messages of support and is very grateful for them though I'm pretty sure she won't have been able to see them yet :roll: Let's keep it going and give her a nice surpise when she gets back.

DD I am pleased that the nurse came out and did your meth for you, I did worry that you and Mr DD were going to have to make the journey to the hospital.

Great stuff SW for PA duties. Well done DD for getting to shout "Hallelujah" as you left the theatre (even if I only imagined hearing it echoing it's way up here by land, sea and sky? ). Take it easy and hope you're back on here responding to everyone as usual very soon. Mat x

FINAL UPDATE OF THE DAY

Although the little finger on the left hand is still numb, the last residue of anaesthetic has worn off now and she is aware of it. The wounds are hurting but she is determined to manage with cocos tonight not tramadol. It won't be easy as her hands have to be above her heart for, I think, a couple of nights yet.

I think she's doing great. So is Mr DD aka Florence
