    Hope chemo goes well tomorrow. Good to hear Lucy is on the homeward stretch now (as you say, apart from her hip). xx

    Hi all

    Chemo was ok, but they want to start physio on her shoulder - what if it is AVN too??? :xmas_confused:

    2 years ago TODAY

    Diagnosed.

    Feels a bit odd - not sure all good. Lots of memories, but overall good I think :)

    I'm not surprised you felt as you did, it's been a tumultuous time for all but particularly Lucy and you, because you were in the eye of the storm. You're through to the other side though, things are looking up (despite another setback) because your brave and courageous girl is still here. That's the important bit. ((( ))) xxx DD

    Too right - she is still here and some other Mums don't have that do they?

    Totally worth it all, but still very hard to believe!

    Thank you DD, Stickywicket and Joan of course (how is Sue??)

    Dr Tim is arranging an MRI on her shoulder now too (ultrasound wouldn't show this) incase it's the same as her hip.

    Apart from that all is well :cheesygrin:

    Such mixed emotions Toni and not unexpected..I can only imagine what the last 2 years have been like.. hopefully the physio will help Lucy and ward off an op on that shoulder..lets hope this year is a really good one...(()) xx

    My fingers are crossed for the shoulder MRI. I think Lucy must have some Stoic genes in her. What a star she is!

    Thanks folks :)

    The appointment for the shoulder MRI arrived yesterday for 2nd February so pretty soon now.

    Although she is in pain I really, really want it to be something easily fixed and not that avascular necrosis like in her hip.

    It does seem rather unfair that , just as Lucy is getting her life back, she is hit my trouble which could affect her career in hairdressing :(

    Intrathecal, (chemo in spine in-case anyone doesn't know though I think you all do ;) ) tomorrow with good old Dr Tim ;)

    I hope all has gone well for Lucy today and not too painful, and I will have everything crossed that her shoulder is easily fixed...she deserve a break to get on with her life (()) xx

    Lucy did just fine bless her and has a friend round now - one of 'the twins'

    Some of her friends have been great :)

    Dr Tim was on form as usual and everyone was pleased to see Lucy too.

    Chemo 1st feb then MRI shoulder 2nd. So long as it's fixable eh?
