All is well this weekend.

On Monday Lucy has an EEG then sees neurologist. He might need to wean her off the lamotrigine because I have read it can also cause avascular necrosis. She is having pain now I can tell though she isn't saying much. Paul is worried about her

Hoping Charley will come over with her OH and spend some time with Lucy - maybe go to the pictures

I'm glad things are ok this weekend. I've got my fingers crossed that the EEG goes well and whatever happens re meds works out for the best for Lucy. She is so brave not complaining about the pain. (((hugs))) xx

She is so brave.......but I hope she confides in you a bit....I'm sure you would like to know more about her pain.
I know Sarah never tells me things like that. She was on crutches before she told me the hospital thought she had Plantar something or other...cant spell it. Hospital diagnosed it.

Off to the QE soon for EEG then neuro. Left a message with the epilepsy nurse specialist to warn the Neuro that we want to talk about the Lamotrigine. Hopefully he will have some ideas :?

Hileena - independent kids we've brought up :roll: I hope she's still doing well? and your Mam?

AS for the pain I intend to talk to Dr Tim and the physio next Monday

We went to see Daddy's Home at the pictures last night and had a great time.

Well interesting day:

Eeg showed activity which is safely being controlled by Lucy's present level of medication.

Lucy wants to learn to drive.

Dr is happy for her to learn, but wants the Avascular necrosis monitored incase the lamotrigine causes it to worsen. If it does she needs to come off it.

Hileena will understand this - once she starts to learn she won't want her meds mucked about with.

However he is so good with her explaining AVN and what it might do to her hip (and shoulder???). He also talked her out of going trampolining!!!

So the application process starts and we have checked we both have the same date for last tonic clonic and complex partial seizure. Both Dec 2014 so well-over 12 months ago.

DVLA will make her complete a medical form then once that is back with them they will contact neurology who will also complete a form. So a while yet.

Good news that things are being controlled. Hope it's not too long before Lucy can start her driving lessons. No holding her back, is there? Although, maybe trampolining might be a bit much for now. xx

Today she has had to do someone's hair and makeup, (having already produced a 'mood board'), for a photoshoot.

They all have to do it and then someone will 'win'!
