Thanks Joan and Barbara
Fingers crossed... :balloon:
Having said that I just had a text from the poorly lad we are close contact with and sadly he is very ill again. The cancer is back for him.
So...........even if she has joint replacements ahead of her at least she is here and beating the cancer eh?

Morning my lovelies, how's things? I don't know about you but I am very thankful the weekend is looming so it offers a chance for all of us to have a good rest, yes? Mind you I have had a rather lazy week but there's nowt wrong with having a little extra rest, is there?

Toni, I didn't realise what it meant. Thanks for explaining. As you say, she is here and fighting hard and could maybe have transplants. I feel she is strong enough to cope with it and so are you and your family. Glad the epilepsy report was good. It is sad news about the young lad. Hopefully, he can fight it some more. xxChristine0

Sadly Joan despite us all having our fingers crossed Dr Tim was right Lucy has got AVN in her Rt shoulder too
This worries me that it could be elsewhere in her body so intend to try to chase up orthopaedic referral.
Thanks for caring

I certainly do Barbara.
It's not fair at all I am devastated, but so grateful that Lucy is still alive.
Many parents I have known would take this in a heartbeat.
Will try and get hold of the consultant's secretary tomorrow and see what the timescale is.
Love and thanks

Toni and Lucy,
Although I haven't posted on this thread before, I have been popping in to keep up to date with your news and progress. I'm so sorry to hear this latest development, and hope Lucy is at the top of the list and that the AVN hasn't affected anywhere else. Adding my ((((((Lucy & Toni)))))) to those others have sent.

Hi Toni ,I'm sorry to say I've only just read about Lucy's condition and I didn't know what it was so googled it but your explanation was easier to understand,I did have a little cry as much for you as for Lucy.Take care Mig0

Frog, in my world Lucy should be No.1 on the list but of course there will be others who are equally affected . . . . but we know you and Lucy - that's the difference. ((((( ))))) xxxxx DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
