Well this week has been one of waiting mostly fro Lucy's bloods to rise up high enough to commence phase 3 next week. I would rather Lucy ate a bit more and drank a bit more, but she is doing ok at least.

She also obtained special permission from the Dr to go shopping tomorrow so long as we go as soon as the shops are open and don't stay too long.

She is desperate to shop!!!

So tomorrow myself and her Nan will return with her and a friend to the same centre where it all kicked off in January. She wants to go to the very same shop (P*****k), but this time I hope no fainting :?

Myself I have found this a hard and emotional week with all the publicity over Stephen who lives very close to us and is a patient on the same ward as Lucy.

The money he raises will help kids in future, not himself. The TCT gives each child a real hair wig, for instance ,which can cost anything up to £2-3,000.

I of course feel for his Mum desperately.

Good news that Lucy can go shopping and I think that going back to Pri***k is good therapy..hope you all enjoy yes Stephen is an inspiration has so are all the kids..its is mum like you say that has to stand back and look on bless..I am hoping that Lucy's bloods are right for Phase 3 then things can move on for you both..many positive hugs and love coming your way...((((()))) xx

What a very special person Stephen is to have started the campaign to raise the money and then for it to go way beyond his expectations is wonderful, his family must be very proud of him.

Enjoy your shopping and a small piece of normality .....your lives must feel so surreal at the moment.

The money raised will be a much needed boost to help families who's lives have been turned upside down. I did wonder how much a wig would cost (much more than I thought) and if you'd had to do any fund raising to pay for it?

I really hope you have a lovely time shopping, carrying on from where you left off in January. I will be an emotional time I'm sure.
