Hope you had a good day today both Lucy and Toni.Christine0

I watched the tennis - or rather I watched the crowd hoping to spot you - you should have worn some froggy deeley-boppers. 8) I'm sure you had a lovely day, the weather was fab, the tennis brill and of course there was the strawberries, fizz and perhaps a Pimm's or two?
I hope Lucy enjoyed the day with her sisters and I wish you both well for this week. You will cope because that is what you do - plus we're all behind you. ((( ))) xxx DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Glad Lucy managed to find some med that stopped her being sick and that she is eating again now. I hope you enjoyed Wimbledon, shouldn't need to ask I'm sure it was amazing! Hoped you enjoyed the strawberries & Cream and a glass or two of champagne! Hope Lucy & yourself have a good week. I was thinking of Lucy & yourself a few times while I was on holiday, hoping sooner than later you will all be able to get away for a break. Take Care. xx0

I have some better news about Lucy: she's been at home today and has managed to eat some beans on toast plus an Actimel but - wait for it, wait for it . . . she also managed to do two minutes on the cross-trainer. I am staggered: her body is dealing with a chemical onlsaught of biblical proportions, she is struggling to put on weight, she is battling tiredness etc. but the gutsy girl goes and does that.
I am humbled by her courage. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
I bow to her courage. Mig0

This week has been SO much better!!!
Lucy is really able to eat now and actually wanting to as well
No chemo now until after her prom this Thursday coming :?
Hopefully she will be strong enough to walk in that dress by then
She is still neutropenic, but I hope not by then as her counts are going up at the moment.
As for the cross trainer
The physio suggested it at the hospital and some of you will remember I bought it with my nectar points.
She also managed to get up the stairs without crawling up the last two days so I am much much happier
Love and thanks and ((())) to all of you
Toni xxx
PS Wimbledon was AMAZING!!! We were centre court almost at the top (shady side), but the roar when Mr Murray came on!!! Fantastic Had strawberries and cream, pimms and of course a wee bit of bubbly We used the park and ride and Macmillan were collecting outside the bus so I was able to say thank you for their help0 -
