All very good to hear now that's what I call a good use of nectar points! So pleased it's getting used, even a little; some exercise, and going up the stairs, brilliant. Really hope the eating up continues it will help everything in turn.
Glad that Wimbledon was a success and thanks for the return serve. toady. xx0 -
Hi Toni

Not me Hileena! Probably my Dad - he was a tough cookie...doing press-ups in hospital the day he died!!!
Toady - great use of nectar points - no way was I spending them on food Earlier this week she was begging me for a stair lift! I enjoyed our tennis too
Christine - she is definitely eating way better bless her and really looking forward to her prom. Not sure whether she'll let me post a piccie, but I will try to sneak one on
Barbara - did you not see me at Wimbledon? I was waving!! Stop sobbing now its ALL good
Joan you are totally right she will be the bravest and the poorliest. I still can't believe it's my baby who has cancer. You have a good weekend too I hope Peppa isn't missing Sue too much (you too).
Sticywicket's eyes prickling  How embarrassing!! Probably just a touch of hay fever
Marie it really is fabulous how well she is now. Bless her that dress is a BIG one!!! Heels are low-ish not her usual 4 inches+
Right today we are off to Shipston-upon-Stour to fetch my MIL to her surprise 80th birthday party. She thinks we are going to her daughter's There is a huge party planned at the sports club nearby.
We can't stay long as Lucy is neutropenic and there will be loads there so lots of potential germs :?
At least she will see Lucy on the way
Love

Bet she will look like a princess, I'm so pleased to hear she is eating and wanting to eat and she is making up the stairs that's 2 hurdles crossed. Hey, Toni! It is good to read such positive news on here! So glad that Lucy is eating well and especially that she is going to her prom! Oh, also that you had a good time at the tennis too! Long may the good spell continue. Sending positive vibes, as always. xxx ((()))0

Morning Frog and Lucy, I apologise for not being around over the weekend or yesterday but we had friends round over the weekend and I've been flaked out.
I am so pleased to read that Lucy is going through a much better phase at the moment - long may that last, yes? I guess the prom preparations are kicking in now? I am so pleased that she is able to go - the fact that she will walk in with her head held high and looking glam from head-to-toe will be a boost to her morale. The stairs are sounding promising, I hope she is still doing a little and often on the cross-trainer because that should help her build some overall muscle strength.

The Prom preparations have been in full swing since lunch time: eyelashes and nails intact, hair gorgeous, corsage collected earlier today, she has eaten, done her make-up and must be frocked by now. The best thing is that she feels well enough to go - . Kick-off is due at 7pm.
Lucy? You rock, girl. (I have no idea what the modern equivalent is so I will resort to the language I know.) Go and knock 'em dead my lovely! ((( ))) xxx DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
