    It should read
I fell for you like a child
    but the FIRE went wild

its not 80s I think and the clue is in the word FIRE which is in the title of the song I heard it today by an American singer

    Hi Guys
Wello if fire is the clue i can only think of two songs
1 Crazy world of Arthur Brown "FIRE"

2 Johnny Cash " RING OF FIRE"
Sounds like ring of fire to me

    Ill have a go

Do you recall the thrill of it all as we walked along the sea grand
Then on the sand we heard a brass band that played the Diddlely-Bump-Terrara

The Day We Went To Bangor.

If thats right, I don't know the artist, so will leave it for someone else to come up with the WHOLE answer :)

Ok here is one - very easy

BUT, its only cos its my all time favourite
song and everyone will probably get it
    and quickly too.

    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too

    Yes, you got it.

I do like this song, but it can be
    a bit melancholy.

    Your go now.

    Hi Kath,

Its not its a classic, and it has stood the test of time.

This one is easy, old (from the 70's) and was a huge hit as a single and as part of a lp......

Through Autumn golden gown we used to kick our way, you always love this time of year, those fallen leaves lie undisturbed now, cus your not here....

    HI Cris

OOH, you got me on this one.
My feeble excuse being if its from the 70's
I was too busy looking after my little kids at that time
to take notice of the lyrics.

Sure someone will come up with it soon though.

I do like the 1980's U2 numbers though,
like Chrisov's With or Without Youand also
I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For,

I do mean the song, and not my state of mind, although
on second thoughts that could apply to me.

    Keeeep the lyrics rolling.

    Kath
