What an eventful night you had last night.

Sorry I missed it, I think this cruising thing has relaxed me too much.
Just want to sleep the whole time.

Good job Joan has some more clothes for you Julie.
Now if we are doing the rapids, think I shall need my wetsuit. Think it will be a tad cold.

And just so we stick to the H&S business, I need a helmet. I know I shall fall out of the boat. I hope we have some strong rowers.
IsSanjita OK after all that brandy.
And again Trisher, well done with your rescue. Hope it was the right person you rescued and we have our capt back. Hope we got the black knickers back

    Joy

I did the 18-30 Club tour Joan, it was the most miserable lump of rock on the planet.. wet and windy like an incontinent old man :D

I think we'll pass on the Falklands then. Never did like those 18-30 Club tours, and anyway wet and windy wouldn't be too much fun.

Found the perfect thing for tomorrow! Mud, mud, glorious mud !!!

Hells Gate Mud Bath & Spa
Hells Gate Rotorua & Wai Ora Spa Rotorua

The traditional mud bath experience, followed by the relaxing sulphur spa overlooking the geothermal reserve, provides visitors with a completely unique geothermal experience.

The silky smooth geothermal mud in combination with the sulphurous geothermal water opens the skins pores allowing the active ingredients to gently exfoliate and treat the skin while in the spa leaving it very clean and soft to touch.

Other effects include increased blood circulation and a sense of overall well being. A spa experience that truly refreshes and revitalises the mind and body.

We could do a sponsored rapids shoot ...........I don't mind getting wet for a good cause. Will wear hubby's wet weather gear!

I have put my peashooter away carefully.........you never know when one of those will come in handy. I've put it with my spanner and screwdriver.

Anybody else coming along? Think it might be just you and me, Trish.

Well here I am, wallowing in mud, enjoying the geothermal experience. I must say it is very relaxing, and easing my aching joints. I can thoroughly recommend it. Anyone want to wallow with me :?: :D

Lying motionlessly suspended in the goop, like a bug caught in amber, I begin to feel tensions slipping away. I inhale the dank, fresh earth smells seeping up from the mud.

The main benefit, say spa practitioners, is that the mud is detoxifying and thus cleansing. In addition, sufferers of muscular aches and arthritis may find the mud bath soothing because it eases muscle and joint pains.

People have been taking mud baths all over the world for centuries traditionally and historically for arthritic and rheumatic ailments.

But, be forewarned: Expect to find tiny mud-pie remnants behind the ears the next day. Not a good look :!:
