Exactly right about your bike just enjoy riding small pleasures can lift our spirits I think. I have been feeding one of the daughters' cats this week and it's been a lot too much really, but going in the Fig - well that makes it so much better😊 Good on you cleaning the bike (s) on a Friday still (if and only if you are up to it) nothing like a bit of sparkly chrome to make you smile.

I was ok driving in the storm just went slower than normal luckily everyone else was too and by the time i got home (45 mins maybe?) it had stopped more or less. Thanks though.

It was sooooo hot yesterday so very very hot I put on the little aircon in the bedroom before bed it helps, but you can't sleep with the noise. The one in the motorhome is better I want to sleep in there!!!

Wedding at the Church opposite today 😊 Elfie will be watching out of the window.

I know what you mean i have a super rubbish pair of glasses for reading in bed. The arm is a tad bent!!!

Collected over a ton of food at A**A which is great. Really pleased with that. Met some wonderful people so felt good☺️

Elfie reckons your loft is a haven for Elves, but he still does not want to live up there after Christmas thank you. He is busy packing for our French trip in the motorhome, and re-packing and repacking….. Going to get him to do ours next!

Please do overfeed Sleek I want this weight loss to cease! I am stuck if she was a dog sure it would be easier! Maybe not. I hope they both behaved even if they did not play drinking games😯 I agree with you they both like this game where you speak with a mouthguard in.

Cat feeding ends this evening Paul is picking them up from the airport tonight!!!!! Then next week they help Kari with our Sleek when we go to France. Fair's fair! I have a rota.

Stuart, are those cats yours? They are beautiful especially the grey one. My sister had cats for a while when she left the family home but we ‘ inherited’ them after a while. I was never too sure about them, one day they’d be fine and freindly the next one of them would want to slash you to bits with their claws out. I have been thinking about getting a cat since our dog died as I not up to walking a dog any more and I miss having a pet, most of the time I prefer animals to people, although that doesn’t extend to people in this café.

Hi to everyone, not up to typing much, still got pain from osteo visit. Hoping it’s gone tomorrow.

I have had a small DIY project on the go that is almost complete, just a little each day that I hope to be able to share tomorrow if I finish it. Obvs bike related.

Morning Jojo We had a wedding at the Church this morning (right opposite our house) so all morning we were on edge hoping it would stay dry and it did!! I had 6 cars and the motorhome on the drive! The rain stayed away and came like you in the afternoon probably about 5? Sounds like you all had a lovely family day inside 😊 Clearly the rain was working it's way down the country. ((())) xxx

Do think about getting a cat maybe when Sucré is just a year or so older so he can help you with him or her? So good for children to learn to be caring and responsible isn't it? I wonder what on earth you would call a cat though🤔

I couldn't be without mine I love her so much she is proper sweet. The only time she ever spiked was when she was a kitten and hadn't learnt to put her claws away yet.

Had a great wedding over the road yesterday Sucré would have loved it. 2 trucks, one tractor and this transport for all the guests.

Maybe your headache was due to the weather as much as the Why-pad? Quite possibly we got very heavy rain late afternoon enough for some surface flooding.

Thanks for asking the wedding was fabulous really lovely everyone looked so happy. Myself and the Church warden were very busy getting everything ready and mostly getting rid of bird poo from the Church porch where we have swallows nesting! can't have that on the bride's dress can we?!

Morning Toady how is that ankle? Still on the mend I hope. I actually managed to cut the front grass before the wedding party arrived! our loo (wish I'd thought to give it a quick spruce up😳) got some use and so did our drive as it was a farm wedding so trucks and tractors up the lane!

Elfie likes your loft very much he pronounced it tidy and safe for Elves and small cats. He sat perched at the top of the (still unused) cat tree to watch the wedding yesterday. Although I think he did sneak out while the service was happening to climb up the trucks bless him.

I did my online shop yes I did it! It's coming Tuesday in time to put what is needed into the motorhome for our holiday. Elfie is trying to pack our stuff now too🙄 it will be far too tidy for me😁I am getting there easier now no cat feeding duties. Paul is asleep not sure what time he got in (2ish?) after picking Tia up from the airport.
