Good evenin', all - Cris, Jan, Joan, Elizabeth, Val, Linda, Joy and Trish.
Thank you Joy, the snow has been melting gradually all day here and it is raining now, I am very relieved, and hope it stays like that.
I may make it into work this week for the first time in a month (ok, 3 weeks were leave, but it's a long time).
I'm still rather snuffly and bunged-up, but the cold is going more quickly than I expected. To celebrate being able to taste things again, I will have a large builders and one of those eclairs full of Cornish cream, if Trish has left any!

It has been raining during the night, and also during the day in London.
Yesterday hubby went out, he got in the car and a large lump of ice fell off the roof.
He got out as he thought it was snow and never looked at it properly and all the roof was coverd in 3 inches of ice.
Cheers Here's a toast to Isabelle, Congratulations Mum and Dad also Congratulations on being A Nana again.

One last builders and I must go off for some zzzzzzzzzz. It's still raining here, although it's strangely lumpy rain, but I'm ignoring the lumps!
Hope you all have a good week.....happy Monday all.

Mornin All,
Hey the snow is actually less deep and I only just lit the fire cus it warmer, not warm but some of the ice is melting and I scat the ice stomping it only twice today I have took a chance (well I like to pretend to be optimistic ) and got all the sheets of ice out of one (some bits are actually 6" thick  ) and stuck them all in one trough so it can turn back into water again I know they forecast more snow here tonight and tomorrow but it depends on if its deemed its self high enough for snow cus it might be rain Optimism can't work with rain cus I hate that too
Could I have a builders and if Jan's left her blankie I shall 'borrow' that and sit by the fire. You all take care, stay arm and wake me if I snores. Cris x0 -

Jan, you poor pixie, that sounds really painful, hope they can help you with it.
While I'm here, I'll have a large builders and some apple crumble and custard for my tea........with cream on the side.
Definitely warmer here today (everything is relative) and the snow is melting slowly. A few odd flakes from time to time, but no more rain so far.
Managed to get out this morning and walked to the shops! Yeehar! Can't remember the last time I got excited about going to B**ts to collect a prescription. Got my new specs too, so now I can see you all much, much better..............hmmmmmm. Think I'll go back to the old ones........

Hello Jan. Sorry you feel like this. (((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))
This is how I have been feeling for days now. Thought it was my PMR flaring up, but my arms and shoulder have been ok until today.
Both Hips are v.painful. The muscles in my thighs are swollen rigid. I am trying to be patient until my chiropractioner comes back. I was wondering if it was bruising coming out. Went supermarket with OH today, and walking was really difficult. I do hope you feel better soon. Looking forward to hear what your dr says.

Hey there people.
You know, I am really jealous of all you with loads of snow. We haven't had very much at all. Did know last night, but now it's all gone except for some black ice, which I nearly went a croper on.
The pavements are bad.
I fancy some pancakes I think. If I make the mixture, anyone want to join me.
What fillings would you like? I think we have lemons, maple syrup, honey, fruit?
Joan, what would you like?
Hey boys, do you fancy some?
joy0 -
oooooooooooooooooh pancakes yes please!!!!!
could I be greedy and have one lemon one and another with orange please?
what a good idea ...... who is good at fllipping them ? are we having a competition?0 -
