    Val I might just forget the pancake :lol::lol::lol: You know you have set off my need for drum playing gorilla blue wrapper stuff now ...... and ....... I might just do the 9 mile round trip to get some if Trish and Chris don't bring in choc and humbugs soon...... x

    Evening all

    Sorry a bit late for me again! Not sure what I have missed but there seem to be bits of pancake all over the floor. :shock:

    Had a bit of a mauling today what with negotiating the alternating sludge and ice rinks!! Would rather have snow to walk on than this pretend thaw. Then I had a lot of orders for jam to do today. There is no heating in the warehouse and the jars are so flippin cold. Please spare a thought for all those souls who put the pretty litte paper caps on the jams with pretty gold bands until our fingers bleed. Fortunately the frost bite in me hands meant I couldn't feel a thing!!
    I'll have an extra large brew please and a pancake if there is mixture still left.
    Am sorry to see so many of you still struggling out there too. Cris, Wonky, Val, Annie, Trish, Jan and others I know but can't mention you all sorry.
    I send hugs to you all and hope tomorrow is a bit better for you.

    Cris daft question but what is this Hewa you keep bringing in? :oops:

    I'll leave a mountain of humbugs, choccie bars, (sorry Cris we don't have the blue wrapper stuff) Soft toffees for Annie. Sugar mice for any little ones who are around and some raspberry and cream flavour shortbread.

    Any chocky will do tonight......... I refuse to go out in the ice and get some and cyber stuff will take the edge off the craving...... :lol::lol::lol:

    Its called Hev va but the 2 v's make it look like a w :oops: Its also known as Heavy Cake which sort of tells you something ...... Its a sort of scone cross cake and its fairly flat and had currents and cinnamon in it and to be honest its really nice....... its covered in sugar as well :wink:

    I'm going to find a snow/ice extractor :wink: You are welcome to borrow it when I done....... xxx

    No we don't make stuff just buy it in, put pretty labels on it, or shove it (nicely in a pretty box!) and send it out again. Rocket science it ain't but it is round the corner from me and pays the bills.

    Just realised you were talking about pancakes - love them but I like them dry no butter, jam, cream.... M&* do a pak of 6 made with buttermilk, they are delicious and Mischa Cat fights you for them.

    Morning all, have turned up heating and put porridge on slow heat, bacon and eggs and black pudding out and ready to use. Lights on and frying pans ready...........how about an omelette? Mushroom, with a little onion..............mmmmm.

    I have not had a good night, going to try again for a little more sleep after a large builders.
