hi all

cris - thanks for your message. 5 deliveries this morning, so kept me and littlelegs (barking) very busy! first arrived at 10ish, last at about 12.30 ........ which was loads of info from AC for our CHurch cafe, which has adopted AC for the year 2009/10.

been to see GP tonight, so would love a huge bucket of energy, another of strength, and a sledge hammer to attack arthur with .... I could swing for him today :x :x :x

just off to get something to eat .......... will bring some jacket spuds back with me if anyone fancies one?

I'm back I hope?
Finally got my internet back on and have missed you guys. Hope you are all having a reasonable day today. I've been so bored and lonely and got real mad at this technology that doesn't work when you really need it too!
So tea for me please and the biggest fry up available ta. It seems I have some catching up to do :roll: :roll:
I gather I have missed a party somewhere, but it might still be going on if I'm lucky.

Oh what a day. If I don't see another garden centre for awhile, I shall be very happy. Have been trying to find our Rampant Lyons for each side of the gate.
We did see some, which were just the right size and some lovely acorns!
then we saw them - balls. What about putting two plain balls on it. What better way of saying 'up yours' to our beloved neighbour.

He is away on hols at the moment and back Sun. I think we shall be going back to get the acorns. They will look lovely. I think lyons are a bit too ostentacious. (Spelling?) And they are more likely to attact the vandals.
So, after all that, what I would like is a large black coffee and a muffin please. Need some strength for tomorrow putting in all those wallflowers I have bought.

Are you the only person in this afternoon?
Iwas going to put my wallflowers in this afternoon, but if I go out there the wind will knock me over, so I came in to get away from the Grand Prix. Thank goodness this is the last one but shame about Hamilton. It's about time they put some good films on now. I expect everyone else is watchingthe Eastenders Omnibus
You've made a good job of the floor. Think you deserve another cup of tea so I'll join you. I've just finished a picture of the pond at Althorpe House, which is near here. I think, when it's frame, it will look pretty good, even if I say so myself.

We have our sunday lunch in the evenings, idea being that we have all day to do things and then settle down in the evening, so i had better get home and put the beef in :roll: :roll:

I have SOOOOO misseed my cuppas and natters in Turkey
It was a lovely holiday and now I am snowed under with washing....3 loads done and about 4/5 to go :shock:
I am avoiding cooking sunday lunch today - wish i could bing em all in here to feed 'em - save me a job!
Did my wallflowers before I went and so glad now
Just going to take my uniform which SHE has been wearing again and stick it in with the VERY dirty washing!

Welcome back Toni hope you had a good holiday and are not too exhausted with all the washing. Picked a bad day to be back with the torrential rain and wind today though. Hope you enjoyed the sun for a while and feel a bit rested.

Thanks Chris, nice to meet you. Love to read the paper. Sundays are always busy with the house work etc. I'm not as quick as I was so the garden has to to take its chance, I think its under water anyway! So a sit down will be great.
