No trouble at all. 5 am, that is silly o clock, not sure what time of day that is. Hope you feel better v soon, I will be over with my medicine trolley asap is needs be. Fair today thanks, went to see the folks and Mother had cooked a feast. OH did some jobs for them, I sat, then stood, then pottered, went to M&S :D I am easily pleased.
We have so many birds here in the woods, never seen so many, saw two woodpeckers the other week, first time in 50 years, was amazed to see them.

I've only ever seen a woodpecker once .... we could hear it in the grounds of the garden we were visiting and went round everywhere until we found it ....... super sight :D

I am hoping to get to go to Bempton CLiffs (north of Bridlington) with hubby later in week cos I love puffins & gannets, and there are loads up there & not got too far to drive or walk.

Glad you had a good day ..... and I hope you didn't spend too much at M&S  I know what it is like when we get in there  We went for a coffee on Saturday as we didn't have the dog with us as we usually do - lovely for a change.

meds in 15 mins please :D I have decided my lactulose must be out of date .... if indeed it has an expiry date :? .... but I think I may need to get some more .... the bottle I have was prescribed in 2007   have you got any spare?!

Lactulose, goodness, that takes me back, we had cupboards of it on the wards, along with dorbanex, which they banned for a while. Don't think I have. 2007, mmmmmm best not be using it, not that it will do any harm, but it won't be effective.

Any prune juice, of syrup of figs in the house, they are as good as lactulose.

thanks ...... but prune juice (shudder :( ) brings back memories I'd rather forget ....... will go to see pharmacist in morning & add a grovelling request onto my repeat prescription request when I pop it into the docs

right ..... my meds are finally calling so I'll bid you good night & i hope you sleep well.

will hopefully be on here more tomorrow - if only to check how cris has got on.

7am, what time do you call that,im usually just fading off into a deep sleep by then.
I'd join night owls but i get told off if i leave the bed & disturb him.
I hate early mornings & if i dare try to sleep during the day.
Take today,i did roast for the 3 of us.loads of pottering round cleaning up & the odd bit to the garden.
went for a lay down,no sooner had i put cover over me,dog pulls quilt cover off line,Oh folds it up puts it on table & dog knocks chair over & runs down garden with quilt cover.(its not like him,he did it when i 1st got him but not since, years ago)
Funny now,But i never get the chance for a lay down during the day.
Toni adopted me as her sis, have you got a spare room for me as Aarons just come down for toast & set off the smoke detector & he sholud be i e in bed GRRR...
right moan over, but me house sticks of burnt toast.

Hi to anyone and everyone, good morning!

Just popped in for a sneaky builders before setting off for the hossy. Not quite warm enough here to take it outside, but it is lovely and sunny.........quite a change from yesterday.

Think I will have quite a wait at the hossy as they are fitting me in at the end of a clinic.....am taking a book and today's crosswords to do!

Think I had better look on it as a nice rest, then I won't get so impatient!

hello! (couldn't decide whether it was morning or afternoon cos I only just got dressed and out of bed   )

Hubby woke me up early to take tablets, then I slept till he brought me brekky, then he walked dog whilst multi-tasking bill paying, shopping and going to docs for me  :D:D and then he made sure I was ok before he went off bird watching. What a love!

Hope he is not getting too wet, cos it's raining here now

it all looks very tidy in here ..... well done bubbles :D and the lavender smell is lovely and soothing .... did someone burn the toast then?:lol:

Trisher I do hope you are feeling better soon .... a friend of mine has been ill with antibiotics and has had to stop them .... maybe it is them that are making you feel so bad?

Cris - we're there with you!!!

hugs to everyone .... I'm goign to sit in the corner with a book and a honey & lemon drink.
