    hi nice company good food and a drink what more can u ask for.
    u can talk about any thing in this cafe the staff r very discreet (even if they can not spell) did ann ever get back out of the gents and does the light work again ???

    Good grief! I'd completely forgotten there was no light in there - there'll be a bit of cleaning up to do tonight.

    Anyone tall enough to change a light bulb? (and brave enough - Trish and me went in double-handed and on her chair)......we left in a hurry after hearing a kind of moaning - you know, I think the window was open................

    Hey there. at last
    Thought I would never get back in today. PC ok at mo. Only prob is it won't switch off. Need a natter with Joseph. See if he can throw a light on the prob. Ha Ha talk about light, are you alright in there? You don't get paid any extra for maintenance.

    Despite getting up real early and cleaning down the kitchen and hallway, I have been out and done the shopping. Don't know why I keep going out and buying more food. I think, between now and April, should we have 3 or 4 ft high drifts of snow, I shall not run out of supplies. And I'm on a diet, so it will go even further.
    I then made an almost vegetable lasagne. If anyone wants the recipe, just ask. Was delicious.
    This evening, went along to Alfred East Gallery where my pics are up on display, Alfred East was an artist who lived from 1844 to 1910, became prosperous (not through painting) and had the gallery built. His works are now gaining interest and brilliant.
    His great great grandson now 71 has written a book about his life and there are some prints of his pictures.
    I was standing looking over at my picture watching everyone pass underneath it. Almost everyone was pointing to it, saying, O I like that one, but not buying. Not fair.
    I shall just have a cup of tea and get to bed. I'm exhausted.

    OMG - it is the 13th tomorrow isn't it - and it's my first day back at work in three weeks...........wonder what's gone wrong while I've been away..........

    A very large mug of coffee for you Trish, so sorry you had a totally unintended shock earlier. Yep I walk with a limp love, lots of us on here do and I'm not ashamed of it. But tell you what it limped me in here where everyone is so friendly so no probs. :)
    Think we ought to leave the cleaning of the gents and just see what's in the fridge besides EGGS!

    Mmmm. thanks Chris, I hope it's all quiet on the western front, too.

    The biggest shock will be getting up at 6.30 - I hope I have a good night! On the other hand, if I don't and I'm up and about in the night, then I'm not so stiff and sore in the morning..................

    Now then, what can I have for supper? Oooh, I do fancy a bit of lemon meringue pie..............or lemon drizzle cake...............or even lemon sponge with lemon icing...........wonder why I suddenly want lemons?? I've had some strange cravings with the steroids in my time, but that's a new one!

    I'll have a large cuppa tea while I think about it

    Hope you had a nice snooze? He may have given Little legs the lesson on food hunting...... He does do internet lessons and is very busy sometimes. He is with Ange still I think? He will come back all nice and clean and straight into the swamp........ I hate all this mud!!!!! Little legs would need stilts and I am moving into waders :lol:

    Could she come and help keep the lodgers off the window cleaning services please? Why do they have to stand there and lick the windows?     Good night all - hope we find Val tomorrow - I'm having a last builders before bed.
    Tomato sauce on pancakes? Well, definitely different - not sure I'd like it and I'm used to children with odd tastes, my eldest daughter insisted on eating tuna and cold brussels sprouts sandwiches for a long time..........and she dunked Mars bars in her tea! Yuk....

    I might try it though.
