    Morning All,

Can I just have a coffee please.

I`m waiting for a skype call from my younger son. It`s his birthday today. Was my elder son`s on Tuesday, so been a time for lovely memories for me. With the footie starting properly today, I doubt I`ll hear very much from them for the next few weeks!

I`m going to sit in the garden. C`mon Cuddlybumps..........Ange.

    morning Val, Cris, Speedy, Ange.

I know, what on earth is Bubbles doing here by 9am  up with the larks, waiting for the parcel man, who will no doubt arrive midday or later.

Trying to be awake, but finding it difficult at the moment, will have a potter and a coffee, that might help, a bit. Hope everyone is as ok as possible, had some sleeps and rests. Not doing a deal today, I am almost at keel over stage now, after so many busy days, going here and there.

    Right, kettle, coffee, make...............

Morning Bubbles and Toni! Thanks Val that's much better! Hope you enjoyed yours too! Found the choccy supply thanks. I notice it's one of those very rare bars of never ending choccy! Must be worth a fortune - no wonder it's hidden behind the fruit! Might see you in the garden later if you've got the energy to get your veg in. Let me know if you need a hand - maybe between us we can muster up the energy!!

Hope you can have some rest today Bubbles - it's lovely and sunny in the garden if you want to come and sit in the sun. And hope you find your way Toni and have a lovely time! If you don't appear later on we'll send a search party out in the bus to look for you!

Thanks tilly, on my way to sunny spot

Was just saying to OH, it is chilly here, cloudy, no sunshine, way below what they said on the weather, in fact I was about to nudge the heating on. I will just potter gently today, have put the washing out on the airer, a020.gif will fuss the bathrooms, wafting bleach about. a060.gif After my coffee though c040.gif

Hi thanks for clarifying … I thought Marigold sounded like a cows name but didn’t want to cause offence!!!:lol::lol:

Hope you had a lovely call wih your lad, Ange. So what are you going to do when half the population are glued to the footie????

Sunny weather would make the lack of anything else on TV and lots of people unavailable much more bearable wouldn’t it???

Tilly – think I fancy another slice of toast and marmite now ….

Hi Bubbles I’m having trouble with low energy levels today too … DD is it a low pressure day??

There is a bit of sun peeping through the clouds here Toni - but sounds better where you are.

Better go – need to go and get some more of Cris’s shopping – couldn’t fit it all on the scooter and sledge … and am meeting a friend for a gossip and lunch at a local café today … meant to be there in an hour and haven’t even washed up the breakie things today yet or done my physio… don’t really know what I have been doing ….

    Speedy
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

At last, managed to get here.
How is everyone, sitting and watching the football perhaps?
I'm not really bothered, but I suppose I should be. I'm even more happy about Cameron in Afghanistan. The troops are going to get an extra £15 a day back-dated to the day of the general election.
By cricky, they needed that. 3 cheers. hip hip hurray etc.
Now for a large cuppa to celebrate.
Went shopping this morning. Spoilt myselt to some Inksense Coloured Pencils/Watercolour pencils and some oilpastels to take away on holiday. I'm looking forward to using the Inksense, you use them dry and then add water later and the colours are suppose to be more vibrant than normal watercolour pencils.
These are for my trip to Norway and thought they would be useful to pack up in special wallet I've got and a small pad of paper . Will be just my luck that we are covered in thick cloud the whole time.
Oh, I have got my holiday ins sorted at last. PM me if you want the name of the company.

Now to the garden centre to get some potting compost and some bedding plants. Better go before I fall asleep. so tired

    Oh yes, another thing
I was hoping to go over and see my grandsons tomorrow, but middle on has got scarlet fever. I've never had it, nor has their father.
Do you think there is a risk in going over. Especially as I have had a kidney infection.
I don't know about the childhood illnesses these days. My OH had chickenpox just after we first me. By gum was he ill. terrible state he was. I'm a bit worried about going. thoughts from you all plese

Hi Joy, it is contagious, best to keep away unless 5 days or so have passed since the child started antibiotics, up to then it is spread by coughs and sneezes, airborne, streptococcus. It isnt a major problem and it would usually clear up on its own in a healthy child, but they tend to give antibiotics now, to zap the bacteria. xx Bubbles

Joy If It was me I wouldn't go near your grandson while he has scarlet fever, especially while you are going on holiday.
It isn't common in adults but if your immune system is low then you could get it.Hope he feels better very soon.
I will grab a builders and some of that chocolate val hid in the fridge :lol:

Hi there Tony, Ange, Bubbles, Barbara, julie, cris and whoever else is hiding in the loos :lol:

thanks for the feedback. answers really are commonsense. Just hope they are better by 19th. We are bbq'ing and I have asked them over a couple of hours earlier, mainly because d.i.l. likes to get them back home and settled ready for bed, especially the smallest one. Apart from that, they demand a lot of attention and can be a bit off-putting for everyone. Not like to the other two, recently moved to Glos. So well behaved, it's unreal.

Oh for a cuppa. Have been to the garden centre and have seen what I would like for my birthday. Lovely standard yellow roses, which I just love. won't be long now. Can't believe I will be clickity click.

    Seeya later.
    anyone watching football?

    Joy
