Joy, I had scarlet fever when little. Pretty awful and off school for 3 or more weeks. I vividly remember the dreams i had when ill..i was delirious but can remember them to this day!

    HI All,

not long been back from my outing this afternoon. Could murder a large builders and a bucket of energy.

Have put a post on LWA about the chest clinic ..... mixed news :(

Treated hubby to lunch in town (he finishes work early on a friday :D ) and then we went shopping :D:D:D and I now have a DVD player, and the RF modulator stuff I need to make it work on our old TV in the bedroom :D:D:D just got to put it all together now!

You'll never guess what though :lol::lol: when I rang dad to tell him about the hospital trip, he said ... 'oh, I've got a new small TV I was given, would you like it?' :o:o so I will maybe not need the modulator after all  :lol: that'll teach me to be more patient before spending money!!!

hope you are all ok? not had time to read back, but will do so later tonight.

    hugs to everyone

Hi all, haven't read back as a bit late, will get a builders and settle down by the window. Rain has cleared beautifully, a lovely evening now but garden is a mud bath and I despair that it will ever look right, so will look out on the cafe garden for a while and dream.

Hope you've all had decent days?

Chris have you got your kit ready. If I hear a lot of noise coming from your way I know you are. I know you like it, so hope you enjoy it. xxx

Thanks Elizabeth. Rafa`s had his day, but it`s still a bit sad. We`ve seen so many come and go, but none to touch Shanks. Rafa gave £96.000 to the Hillsborough Family Support Group. What a lovely gesture....Ange.

So so glad we shall be away for most of the football. If they are going to blow those terrible horns all through each match, then I just cannot stand it. It is hurting my head and the tv is in the other room. OH has turned it down as far as he can but can still feel the vibration through my ear drums. It is horrible. Do you think it still sounds the same in the stadium? Also, some of the cars are passing the house on the way to the shop and the bass is beating out and making a racket as well.
Now I have been told that OH is going over to his son's to watch the match tomorrow. Goody goody, peace and quiet.
Sorry if I sound a party pooper, but have a bad headache at the moment. Probably be alright tomorrow and I shall cope a bit better.
I'm not saying I don't like football, I can get into a game quite easily and find it fun. I just cannot stand that noise. I think it comes from having had a damaged ear drum a few weeks ago. One of my many infections I seem to be getting at the moment. It will give me the chance to get a couple of pictures finished.

I'm off to bed now. night night.

Was up at the crack of dawn Trish and they delivered at lunchtime, two of the three items were smashed to bits as well, so that was even more wonderful NOT.

Football is on, yes, and what a damned droaning row it is, turned it over now, cannot bear the noise.

Joy, I had scarlet fever when I was eight or nine...........I was very bad and was in the isolation hospital for some weeks. Steer clear of him until he is better. I remember my mum and dad and brothers had to come and wave at me through the big glass window - they weren't allowed to come in.

I'm ready for another builders and a wedge of apple pie with a bucketful of cream.

It's turning warm here - the local fete is on tomorrow, I think they will have a good day for it.
