Did they numb your knee at all? If they did, why no green needle0
-
They could use a white needle, or cannula in which case they would give lignocaine first. Will have to see how it goes.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0

I really hope they can do something for you and soon.0

At the moment it is 40mg, so he said, no, most of my patients are on 200, or 150. So a big increase next week for me, I will be by then, along with the pregablin. I am getting sick of pills now, feel like throwing them all in the bin, but I know I can't, or there will be no Bubbles, the GP said that. They are keeping me alive, most of them.
Just tired and a bit blah at the moment.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I understand how you feel. We both take a lot of meds to keep us going. It does get you down a bit when you have to have them or else.
At the moment, like now and every night for a few weeks now when I take my night meds they give me really bad heartburn.
\you are not alone Bubbles, I want you to know that. We are all here for you too.
If you get the increase, it might help you sleep, but I know how you feel about that too.
If I can ever do anything just ask ok
I have to go now Bubbles, will you be ok???0 -
Goodnight Bubbles Try and get a bit of rest. That knee needs it.
I really hope it feels better in thee morning. I will see you tomorrow sending some ((()))) to you
Nite nite

Just popped in for a mug of builders and some weetabix. Hope all those up in the night got at least some sleep. Hope your pains have eased some by this morning.
Good luck to Trish (and anyone else with appts today) - really hope it all goes well Trish (and, I know I shouldn't have, but I did laugh about the consultant's shoes!).
Just off to "negotiate" with GP for more steriods - though what on earth prompted me to make an 8.30 appt I don't know!!!
Might take my brekkie out into the garden as nice and sunny.
Love Tilly xxx0 -
Morning everyone. It has just taken me half hour to read back. I was in bed pretty early last night.
Sounds like you had a scarry day Bubbles - do you glow in the dark?
Now you rest with that knee like you should. I'm on Pregabelin and Tramadol SR. I don't know what I would do if they decided to put me on anything else now. These two seem to have hit the nail onthe head. They help me get through the day, and night.
Hope the day goes a bit more easier for you Trish. Sorry yu in so much pain. I seem to have learn't to cope with it now, but for others and yourself, not so good.
Cris. Sorry you are not so good at the moment. You are always on the go though and especially with those beautiful foals. I expect you want to spent all your time with them.
I shall have to pop back later, got an appt at the podiatrist this morning She is going to report back to the dr about the toe that I broke and didn't do anything about. Apparently it is upsetting my balance and making all the other toes splayed out like a ducks web foot.
See you all later.0 -

Anyone in? Popped in to see if there was anyone to chat to. Really, really, really fed up - even half huge bar of choccy hasn't helped which is most unusual! Just getting a bit mug of tea then will go out into the garden to see if anyone's outside (you'll find me behind the compost heap with Babycham's alcohol supply if she's not drunk it all).
Ho hum.
