Thanks BUbbles & Cris,
I am hiding here rather than going to bed, which is where I should be right now
felt really down today ..... for no great reason other than I did ........ and am dreading going to bed, even though I am bone weary
perhaps a bucket of sleepiness and one of calmness would be a good idea?
or maybe I'l just sneak into Nurse Bubbles drug trolley whilst she's not looking0 -
Look is that me in the wheelchair?
Just had a nice bath all squeaky clean for round two.
Can I grab a coffee please.0 -
I had cardiac nuclear thallium imaging, (it was horrid, only because they ran me on a treadmill and I told them I was going to die, which I didn't, the cardiologist said I can see what your heart is doing, so don't worry), then they came in with this lead lined box and a big syringe, injected it then took loads of images to show blood supply etc, to the heart muscle. I was radioactive for 48 hours too.
The thallium injection was fine, no bad effects, just glowing in the dark. Nuclear imaging is really good at pin pointing any problems, so they can be sorted and treated.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

I seem to remember that they said don't have children around for a couple of days. I didn't go out as I recall, but I am sure you can. It has a very short half life in your system and is soon out, drink plent too.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
I still have all the pictures in the file in the hall, all sorts of colours, basically told them that half my heart is not getting a blood supply............. They use a gamma camera to take the images. I had to lie there, gasping for breath after the treadmill test, that was the only horrid thing, lying in your front, trying to get your breath back while the camera is buzzing round.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0

Not sure, just keep giving steroid injections every few months, Dr said that my GP surgery can do them now. He said the fluid was obviously very thick, so it would not go up the needle. It is like a melon tonight, can't bend it. IT will be better by morning, says me.
They are going to whack up the amitryp as well, and start pregablin, so I will be on another planet.
I will be in your pocket for the scan tomorrow.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Can they not open the knee to drain it make a little hole??0 -
trisher wrote:Bubbles

They would if it gets so bad, it is my fault for wanting a blue needle instead of a green one, it might have drained some then. Dr said they could see lots of fluid on the x-rays, along with boney overgrowthsXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0
