Hi Delboy hope the evening out went well. Nice to meet you.
I should be asleep as working tomorrow but am wide awake, wot is that all about?
Chris0 -
I had this feeling that I wouldn't sleep tonight, I had a sleep this afternoon.
Knees giving me gip as well - gave up after an hour and have come down for painkillers and a cuppa. OH snoring his head off, he's always gone as soon as he hits the pillow.
If the painkillers will kick in that will help.
Annie0 -
Poor you Annie
Hope the painkillers help the poorly knees and that you can get some sleep. I'll join you for a brew for a minute.
Chris0 -
Thanks for the company, Chris, but you get off to bed when you've finished your brew. Hope you have a decent day in work tomorrow - well, later really! Is it the bookshop tomorrow? Can you sit down there?
Annie0 -

Mornin Everyone,
I hope everyone is ok and the weather has given you all a break? We have a bit of sun just now, its was a stormy night but not in the same league as the last 7 so its back to building up for the next big one due Wednesday........ Oh I can't wait........
Could I have a builders and a bucket of energy please? and if anyone’s up to it could you give me a hand to push the car through the mud infested lake that seems to taken over most of the front field? I can't stand he thought of having to dig her out in mud covered in 4" of water......... I could always borrow a lodger to pull eh? I shall go and talk to them......... Cris x0 -
Oh Gosh, what weather again. We have been fairly OK in Northamptonshire so far. Haven't been out very far so cannot tell.
I hope all you up North are hanging on in there.
And Anna, you must be getting worried. Living near that river.
You should be ok Trisher. I think it is very important that we do have this particular flu jab. I wasn't expecting any side affects because these sort of things don't normally
Hi Skezier, thanks for the cuppa. Must not eat anything. I am on a really strict diet at the moment. Got to lose some weight. So far I have only lost 3lbs. Very difficult when you are on steroids.
Anyway, must go. DIL who is very ill is going to try and come over with stepson. She is up today, feeling a bit stronger so wants to get out. I shall not be able to give her a hug though.
let you know how it goes

Hi to all I hope you are safe.
Cris
Did you manage to get your car out? If not, I'll whiz down in my chair and help you.
Did you get to a sale today? I hope you did. Even if it was small, it is better than no sale. Then I don't know how far away you have to go petrol wise. I do hope the weather changes.
Delboy
I made that tea for you late last night, out of the kindness of my heart Blooming cheek  You had that after you had drunk several pints of beer, was it that that made it taste different :?: :?: I gave you some indigestion tablets as well. I'll be at your home soon and smack your wrists
The sky is blue, but windy, it has been raining though in London.
Trisher xx0 -
Hi Joan, Jan
Sorry did not see you both. I'm having a large coffee. Any cakes left?
I hope you are both okay.
Jan
Did you get to sleep eventually. How was the pain.Do you take your Gaberpentin when you need it, not all the time?
Joan
How are you? No swimming on Sunday's? Do you think it is helping you?
Anyone want a top up?
Trisher xx0 -
Hi Cris, Joan, Jan, Trisher.
We had a couple of dry hours this afternoon, now it's raining again. We had something similar to Lynn this morning, a crash of thunder, hailstones and then torrential rain - I've never seen the like before, I literally could not see a beyond a foot through it. The wind was gusting like nobody's business, a real squall.
I just walked down by the river, there are several small trees down in it, plus an old trunk. Round in the little park one of the iron seats is in the pond, but that could be work of the local yobs (bit difficult to see how the wind could have shifted it in). They're often looking for something to do! I guess breaking windows gets boring after a while.
We seem to be due more heavy rain tonight.
After all that, I need a builders and a bucket of energy, are there any ready defrosted?
Hope all of you are safe and dry; someone ought to tell the weatherman that we can have too much of a good thing.......
Annie0 -
Hi Joy
Yes weather wise I'm ok thank you. Annie will be ok, just watching the level though. If it goes she will be alright. Late last night she had her head out the window looking at it though.
Joy, this is the Gospel truth. Some of the nurses here are a bit concerned about having it. Some are not having it. It seems it is not just us that are a little bit unsure. The public, must be worried too. I will have it though becasue of my breathing.

Join the club fingers, wrists are some of it. Do you have splints to wear :?:
I'll have to smack your bum instead
Errrmmmm that would be too painful for me I mean!!!!
Right, can you top everyone up, please. You can do the washing up if you want, oh the gents could do with a clean. Us girls are afraid to go in there alone, someone seems to spy on us in there. No it is not a mouse.Something worse than that.
Trisher0 -
Hi All
Just come in for a breather. Just had to get out and now I'm soaked
Black Coffee please. Oh go on, I'll have a small bun aswell!!!
No I didn't say bum.
I think I shall be the forum own guinea pig as far as this swine flu goes.  If I end up being really ill over the next two three weeks I will let you know.
Hi Anna, how's that river. Shame about all the damage the yobs do.
We want to put a couple of ornaments on either side of the front gate, but you can bet that if we do, the yobs will knock them off and break them up. The bus shelter just 100 yards from us is always being smashed.
Ah well, back to the kitchen. We are having a very late Sunday Lunch today. We seem to have had visitors all day today. Nice though. I like it when friends and family can just pop in.
See yha

Oh, Trish, I'm beginning to wonder what they are thinking of, leaving you in this state. I'm so sorry you had yet another bad night.......are you not able to take any pain meds at all? I realise some would be difficult for you.............
When do you see the doctor again?
Love n' hugs
