I was riding a mental horse once who thought me being on him was an affront to his pride..... I think the biggest plus side to the mtx is I don't feel like eating and well at this size thats a good thing Mind I am eating a bit of Easter egg if you'd like some? Cadbury of course

Hey I took them immediately cus I realised if I thought about it I might be more worried but I need to do a sale sat and sunday so this week I shall move them to sunday night and as you say late and go to bed.......

Tis 10 of the mtx and also 10 of the folic acid the day after. I could read that folic one cus its a blue packet and big writing....... The other is yellow and white (not a good combination ) but they are 2.5 cus they have to be and 4 of em is 10 eh?

Cris do check that you dont have 4 x 10mg tablets.Cos then you take only1 tablet each week and you might have 4 weeks supply.I get 8 tablets per bottle and this is for 2x 10mg tablet x 4 weeks. They dont like to give you more than a months supply at a time.Do check.
I dont want to confuse you but you have said you have lots of problems with your vision.They should have explained everything to you so I am sure I am fussing for nothing.
The 10mg tablets are more oval shape and the 2.5mg are round. I suppose that is to help identify them

Hi Elizabeth,

Tis ok flower they are def 2.5 and they do say take 4 once a week. The folic acid are 2 once a week as well the day after so it will be ok but thanks for making sure cus the yellow and white on the box doesn't gel with my eyes at all :oops:

I just going to change the day by 2 days this coming week cus they do make me feel a bit iffyer than I do any way now a days :roll:

Also have been away for the weekend and now preparing for the grandchildren, two of them, to come and spend a few days.

I have been trying to understand what has been happening. However, just hang on in there. It sounds like things are 'happening' for you at the moment.

It seems you are being looked after at last. Quite scary for you about your eye though and you must be anxious. I will also send lots of good healing vibes to you.

Hey bit of reassurance for you they think a lot of my eye problem is down to circulation and not the tablets and the mtx will help control the optic neuritis as well...... It got so much to control Bubbles and a ((( ))) and its really good to see you and hope your doing ok? xxx

Hi Cris

Thanks for putting my mind at rest! I change my Methotrexate day from week to week, depending on what is going on. Sometimes Ihave to take care of the children more than usual and I hate feeling so sick so I delay it!
Unfortunately I sometimes forget what day I have taken them so have to leave it 2 weeks to be on the safe side. Also cos I eat so much on MTX days I have to stock up on nice things.
Going shopping now as last took MTX a fortnight ago! :oops:

I had a silly day yesterday..... The crohn’s gets me big time at night and I was up all night till about 5, then did morning duties in a gale with teeth and got very cold. came back in freezing and couldn't get warm so feeling like death I decided to get the hottles and go to bed for an hour....... I woke at 5 :shock: :oops: :oops:

I didn't get to see them.... kinda think its easier to say 'no we made a mistake' over the phone than if I am stood there and will find out tomorrow for sure....... hey come with cus I really am worried cus I just don't want to ever see the uselesses again :roll:

I have been lucky I think. Its so much easier than the sulfa, I know you had a reaction to that didn't you? Not nice is it? I was on it from June till last month and after all that the mtx is really a breeze...... so far

I think you could ask flower. There are things its not compatible with but here is no harm in asking and with luck if he does say yes, it will work and like me you will be ok on it? Its too soon to say it is working but you know what I think it might
