Hi All,
Sorry the reception was useless and I couldn't get it to hold a connection but THANK YOU all.....
Been an eventful day.........
I changed doctors and am at last free of the uselessess who really were astonishingly bad today!
They have taken the anti-inflammatories and the inhibitors off me, they didn't offer any substitute or explanation..... they have just gone....
That's not what did it though, oh no...... I sort of lost my sight in the right eye. I mentioned it to the useless today and was told to go see a optician...... Yeah like they are going to help..... so I said they had seen me recently, he found the letter and then said oh well go to the eye casualty on friday when your down there...... I kinda thought they ain't going to like that as I was seen by the ward last time and they said to get the gp to send me back with a letter to the ward......
I did get some tablets to help with the worse symptom of the crohn's (thankfully these work better) couldn't get the ct results as he said he didn't have access to it and that was that, except I cant really see through one eye, got pain behind it and was slightly taken back by his complantency..... especially when he said there wasn't any active optic neuritis in there......
He then refused to send me to the gastro dept saying the Rumo would be putting me on something that will 'cure' the crohn's as like as not but if he doesn't to come back.... this after saying he didn't think it was ca (and nor do I but he doesn't know that does he?!).
I had to take a mate to minor injuries and while I was there I groveled to see if they would look at my eyes..... they did and phoned the eye ward who want me there tomorrow morning and made me promise any deterioration I would go sooner....... Not bad for eyes with 'nothing wrong with them' eh?! :?
That was the last straw.... went into a doctors in town and groveled and they have agreed to take me on! I am actually free of the uslesesses!!!!!!
I hate to think what is coming tomorrow though at the eye ward....... I so hope they will go easy on me cus well it already hurts but hat ever it was the complaint ency about my eyes that was the final straw and never underestimate the power of a good grovel
I'll let you know what they decided to do to me and this time they are gong to have to give me some treatment cus I want the eye back asap!
You all take care and thank you for coming cus you all helped me get it sorted today and the new ones are so much better than the idiots I have been with.
Hey Friday I hopefully will get some antiflams back eh? Shame it might come with mtx in their back pockets but for that I just want to say bring it on! What ever he opts for I need
Yo all take care and ((( )))'s for yo all Cris xxx0 -
Hi Cris
Been a tad worried here, but so glad you were able to log on.
What a horrendous day you have had, but hopefully now the useless ones gone things will start to improve. (though useless is a pretty tame word to use after reading that :x :x Words fail me!!)
Rest up now and hope the appointment tomorrow gives you some relief and support. So so glad that you have another doc, now. Hope this is the start of much better times for you.
Sending hugs (((( ))))
God bless

Cris, I was just nodding off when I saw your post. Dear God, I`ll NEVER sleep now!!
How dare that b** tch treat you like that. You should report her.
I suppose though, in a strange way, we should be grateful. You got pushed that little bit too far, and found a new doctor. Wonderful news sweetie.
I will be thinking of you in the morning, and praying for good news. Let us know as soon as you can. Now, try to get a good night`s sleep..........Much love.......Ange.0 -
Hi Lynn,
Got to admit I was a bit miffed...... Never said anything just vowed to my self I would never see them again, well left in their 'care' I wouldn't be able to see them!!!!!! That really was the last straw and I did grovel to both minor injuries and the new doctors but well in the end its sort of came easy.........See you people have helped me so much! I was nearly crying in the miner injuries unit cus I have effectively blind in one eye and the doctor was doing his 'I couldn't give dam' audition....... You mates here really were behind me at that point and I am so thankful cus it meant I didn't slide back under the stone......
I just hope its real but if for some reason they work out I am not as near as they think I am I shall fight all the way to not be put back to those people...... You know what word that should be
I don't understand the attitude..... look at the size of my wrists and the swelling across the lumber and the neck and explain why they think I no longer need anti-flams as well..... Sorry hint of rant there   :?
The bones will get some help on friday and its just such a huge relief to not have to see those..... again!
Hope your ok there? Love Cris who hopes she can get the eye department to come up with some treatment as well now xx
Hi Ange and Chris,
It was a he today...... they are universally useless..... I don't know what lies behind it. I think for me it was ok till I got the 3rd condition and since then if I have dared to see them they have been as bad as this but how could he tell me my eye was fine when half an hour later the nurse in MI tells me the disc is enlarged and there is a real problem..... I asume he is qualified  Its beyond belief but this sort of came to a head when the duty one on the phone told me I had an ulcer and didn't need to see a doctor...... the walk in doctor told me to phone the Rumo cus of a major reaction to the sulfa the day after! What can you say but well I'm free
You both take care and I will let you know as soon as I get home, likely to be a long day eh? I just want my eye to work again xx0 -
Sooo happy that you managed to change Drs. Well done you! Really hope things go well tomorrow. Maybe things will start moving for you at last. Sending you all my warmest wishes, Ix0

Hi I,
Oh what ever comes next can't be worse than these 'people' eh A ((( ))) for you as well and a hope your doing ok? xx0 -
Hi Cris
I'm so sorry to hear about all the problems you are having with your eye and useless doctors. I'm thinking of you, and I hope you will get better treatment now.
Joan0 -
Hi Cris,
words fail me
to be treated the way you have been today by the uselessness is appalling. :x :x
would you consider making a complaint :?: :?: cause surely their 'treatment' borders on neglect if not negligence. :?: :?:
as others have said..the one good thing to come out of that harrowing visit is that you have now got a new GP. Hip Hip Hooray
hope the pain and problem in your eye eases :? and that you can get some sleep tonight.
good luck for tomorrow and for Friday....time to get out the forum mini bus again.?
lots & lots of ((((HUGS)))) Iris x0 -

Cris
You done it, well how proud we are of you.
I'm thinking of you, and cannot wait for you to to be able to tell us how you you got on.
When you do feel better you should report those useless ones. They really have treated you in an unprofessional manner.
They have also neglected you too, your eye, they should have sent you to the Eye Clinic if you have one at your hospital. If not they should have referred you to a hospital that does deal with these sort of problems as an emergency.
Love and a bucket, full of ((((()))))

cris well done knew you could do it hope they good mind you got to be better than last lot. mine phoning me tomorrow could not manage with out her.val0

I'm very lucky I do have a lovely GP, well there are 3 of them at the practise they are so nice to me, will do anything for me. Nothing is too much trouble.
When they see hubby out they always stop and talk to him also they are always asking how I am.
I consider myself very lucky in that way.
Trish xx0 -
Hi Joan, Iris, Wonky, Barbara and Trish,
Thank you and Wonky I grabbed the relaxation ones first
Saw a different doctor (who funnily enough I kinda know cus she is into animals. She said that the neuritis is not as active but the optic nerves have become over sensitive for some reason (well I am so why not them ) The big zig-zag jumping divides are circulatory  They are of a bit of concern........ She upgraded the consultant to needing it asap and has blood tested me for the cat bit/scratch thing to rule out or confirm why it keeps happening.......
She agreed with me tis time to find out what the cause is.... if we can and she did say it might not have a testable reason........ I tell you one thing though I am sick of it what ever is causing it.
Oddly mtx will help and is better than steroid so tomorrow I beg for it I think.....
Oh been done for Lyme's again (still haven't been bitten by a tick and besides nor have my sheep ever had one ) and she is going to try and find out what is gong on and why.......
My thanks to you all again I do appreciate it all I really do. ((( )))'s to you all Cris xx

Hi Cris
Goodluck tomorrow (well today) I will keep my fingers crossed that you got something that helps you Cris.
If the Mxt is what you think might help. They do not like giving it to us with the complicated case history you know
If you really think it will work then I really hope you will get it

Good luck today Cris,
I am a bit confused by all the issues you are having to deal with! So forgive me if I dont make sense.
