rehab44 wrote:THURSDAY? THIS THURSDAY?????? Bloody hell that was quick, I must get onto the brewery and arrange the party. Is it a bit too early to start boiling water?
A bit early for the water-boiling, but you could get some clean towels ready....bring em over to the acf and we'll wash em for you....0 -
Time has slowed to a crawl!
This past week has taken its time to go past. Still no sign of him but I'm not sleeping more than a couple of hours a night so that's good practise.
We've been trying things to get him moving inc curry and a bumpy car ride (although not together as could get messy).
Just heard that my 91yr old Gran has managed to survive her 5th knee replacement (same knee). They bred them tough! So will be taking in a pack of cards to keep us both occupied while we both wait.
Take care,
Jen and rather large bump0 -
Are people saying "Are you still here"? That used to drive me crackers Jen!!
"Err no, I`ve gone on me holidays, and me sisters carrying this lump round for me for a few days"!!
Good luck, and I`m still sticking with May 1st..........Much love......Ange.0 -

All the best jen

Hi Jen,
The time has flown by for us..... but I know each day seems like a month as you and hubby wait for your precious little son (our little 'star' ) to appear.
You've managed to cope really well Jen and baby bump will be with you really soon now. Think how great it will be for you to hold your baby boy (forget about the nappy business...that's what dad's are for!)
thinking of you with love and (((hugs))) to all. xxx
and special (((hugs))) for granny for coming through her op with flying colours.....she certainly is made of the right stuff. perhaps she would like to join our forum too???
Iris xx0 -
Good luck Jen. I hope you have primed your hubby to log on and inform us of babies birth. I chose yesterday as his date and I am quietly hopeful that the deed is done and you are sitting up in bed cuddling your bundle of joy.

Hi Jen,
Hopefully he is staring to think about arriving? Just leaving you a ((( ))) and well thanks for sharing this with us and you know we will all be in the waiting room don't you? Another ((( ))) and a huge hope he gets on with it...... Cris xx0 -
No sign at all of baby!
Am feeling ok, incredibly hormonal (just rang hubbie in tears over silly things after promising not to ring unless it was 'the' phone call - luckily he's very understanding although said his heart leapt, poor bloke).
The endless waiting is driving me round the bend. Seeing midwife tomorrow. Think I may go out for a stroll.
Having a better day than Gordon Brown though.....0 -
Oh yes
I think ANYONE'S day is better than Gordon's
Hope the walk calmed you down...but i bet you see loads of people who are saying...when is it due?? or not long now?
This is such a hard time really (my neice is TWO weeks overdue  the poor lass eh?
When did you say you were seeing the hospital next??
Love
