    CB

kakaoke sounds great but I am a bit worried that some of the revellers appear to have set up camp behind the compost....

    Cham....

will you give us a hand with the empyies? Put em in the blue bin - I have brought back some duty free quality brandy for us.

Val - are you telling me we have a missing person?

    Is it likely Rehab??

The mac and vest are dry now? But no-one in either of them?

Maybe he's still got a mega hangover? Serves him right.

Have ambled in for a builders before I start thinking about lunch - sausage and mash today.

Glorious day here, will be out in the garden this afternoon.......would have been out there this morning but needed shopping and had a doctor's appointment. Foot still swollen - he says he doesn't think there is any inflammation there but to go back in a week if no better.

Will take my builders out in the garden and chill for a few minutes.

Hope you are all having good days

Have been out and replanted some of last year's crocus bulbs - they have the usual two choices, they either come up or they don't!

Be interesting to see what does come up in the Spring.

Have also been throwing gravel down either side of the pathway by the flat. What a very relaxing job that is! Have about a quarter of it left to do, but it is the quarter requiring the most work. Hope the weather stays good for a couple of days and I can get it finished.

    Hi Annie

Let's hope the bulnbs suprise you eh? a lovely spring display :D

Does the gravel dry out your hands? It is a good idea though - drainage and all that. Today will be nice too so hopefully the job will soon be done.

    Morning - Happy Saturday!

If anyone is wondering why our trees our festooned with cans of lager - well it's a brilliant plan, hatched by Toni to make sure that the hunks don't slack! To quote Toni " I wondered about hanging cans where you want them to work - sort of carrot and stick - they are of small brain after all.... "

    Thanks for that Toni!

It's a glorious day here - hope you all have lovely weather too and are able to get out and enjoy your gardens!

    Love Tilly x

I'll have to get on with my knitting and crochet, I guess. Have just discovered that some oregano seeds I put in pots ages ago have suddenly burst out and are now several inches tall. Haven't got the faintest idea what to do with them at this daft time of year!

Why not bung in some garlic cloves for next year.
    Broad beans if you hurry
how about some chinese stuff which will give you leaves for late autum,
    French beans too
There is so much that can still be done.

    Rose bush late Autumn

    Thanks for the ideas rehab.

Ive got loads of basil, tiny bit of sage they gotta come in ive not room. I am hoping to rid them off at the Good life veg show. Ive been posting the leaflets for it which is 2nd October. Yes a daft time of year for veg show but they want it. We have got veg but i think we will have to beg for it. All our allotment friends are cleaning green houses. clearing plots or on holiday. There are a few with veg but i will have to try the other allotments.
They are doing a comp entry for the biggest, funny veg, oldest grower and youngest. etc.
At home though not much is happening in the garden. There should be but rain or not being in when weathers ok or ill has stopped me in my tracks. Arther is with me and has made his unpleasant entrance felt. I also have put on a stone . This will not do. I have still more work to be done in the garden. My body is trying to go in hibernation though. I must get out there maybe i will shift this weight. Wishing everyone well from joanne
