hugs & healing drafts
WOnky0 -
Hi Cris, thanks for the draft and ((( ))). You need to "adopt" a properly trained farm dog - to do things like round up absconding ponies!!
Foul weather here.
Have you guests or is your stereo lent/broken?
SpeedyI have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.0 -

joan xx0 -
Hi Wonky,
Oh Miss. L. Legs will definitely get the bellows working... I think also she would do the perimeter thing... but not sure about her cow-girl costume Can she use that lasso?
I tell you though what would we do without her?! She has helped me through so much and I do know she is also wearing her matron costume under it all so..... hope your doing ok? ((( ))) and slurps Cris xx
Hi Speedy,
haz is almost a good rounder upper... he just has a bit too much spaniel in there so as well as rounding he has to chase! I could do with a fence dog...... one that got in front before they jump out and not come behind barking manically..... I will see what I can find ((( ))) and more anti-lergi drafts xx
Hi Sally,
Its grown legs this post (Chris calls it that which reminds me hi Chris)

Hi Joan,
I have got the ark on standby so if needed we can pick you and Sue up ((( ))) xx0 -
Hi Cris
Been following your progess on the thread and thinking of you.
Belatedly- thank you for the youtube link you sent me for Deadmau5 "Brazil" contrary to DDs suggestion that I would be horrified, I loved it! I also listened to "Faxing Berlin" and "I remember" (as recommended by DD) and my eyes have been opened! Good job G (and the neighbours!) are out as I have it pounding out of the computer very loudly!!! So thanks Cris and DD for that.
Cris - love what you and Toni did to DD's cope! Hopefully your cope is bearing up at the moment!
((()))s Cris - and a nudge from the deer.
Love Tilly xxx0 -
Hi Tiily,
I actually did think you would like it...... Its uplifting as long as you don't dislike it too much..... Berlin is good so is Not exactly and well when I first found Brazil I was a bit down.... I try not to let it show but I do get swamped quite a bit here and there
It took me and lifted me to the clouds Good place to go and well....Try Not exactly as well. I think he is one of the best out there in the modern set..... very clever isn't it really?
((( )))'s to you and I have kept the deer so he can help teach Primmy to act like one if in the antler costume Cris xx0 -
hi Cris, glad you ok.Waiting for rheumy appt on 13th as only on steroids and have had to put them up today as in a lot of pain last night. Things v up and down but guess that is the nature of the beast.
Speaking of beasts - I take it you live in the country - on a farm.....? Certainly seems very lively round your way. I've got a cat who is always delighted when I am in bed as she likes to sit on me. Can get a bit uncomfortable at times at night. I seem to have to accommodate her rather than the other way round.
xx0 -
Hi Sally,
Glad you are being seen and will think of you on the 13th. What time you going? I have the pain clinic in the morning but will be in your pocket in spirit if your appointment is about that time. Really hope he comes up with something that will help you!
This is a small holding... came here with dreams but now have nightmares
Oh cats eh..... Like you I live alone and well what would you do without your girl.... even though all cats tend to be the most demanding users out there ((((( ))))) and Sally really have got my fingers crossed for you. Cris xx0 -
Hi Cris,
Send the Ark up here will you. Never stops raining at the mo. Hope you are managing to take things a wee bit slower still. The ponies seem to have taken to their trips out.
What is down that lane???? Sugar lump factory?
Hope you manage to stay in bed tonight. No falling out with or without head warmers!!!!
Lv, Ix0 -
Hi I,
I am going very slow just now... the legs function but not so well I know something they don't know.... I see the pain clinic doc with all her steroid and botox jabs the week after and she might be persuaded to do me a job lot
Oh just around the corner is a meat processing factory.... it got a bit tempting for a min
Miss L Legs has bellowed up some sun and we are really trying now to get enough of the employers and lodgers to help blow it up country.... its coming from the west so will keep trying.....
Hope your doing ok? (((( )))) xx0 -
Great news about the Botox Appt. It was a great pity that you missed it last time.
It sounds as if it will be really helpful.
October is the Rhummy appt for you I think. So I will be with you for that one. Not too sure about the Botox one....so many needles :shock:0 -
Thanks Cris, appointment is 6pm which I like as the place is really quiet by then. Thanks for offer to come along. I'll take you up on it!
You must have heard the saying 'Dogs have owners, Cats have staff'
Says it all really.
A small holding must be difficult with arthritis. I can't work my allotment any longer. I share it with my sister and we are going to turn it over to just fruit which is easier to manage than veg. Just can do the digging and weeding any more. How do you manage?0 -
Hi Cris
I will go back on you tube at some point and listen to some more. As you say, very uplifting and, failing that, when you play it loud I guess you can't worry about anything else at the same time!
Thanks for the (())s Cris. And you are welcome to hang on to the deer - although I am a tad worried she might be a bad influence on Primmy, so you will have to keep an eye on them!
Love Tilly xx0 -
Hi I,
Yep, lot of needles... normally 5-6 but not sure how many she will use with the botox....Guess it depends on how many times I can swing my face int to needle
Thing is I really am in pain with this neck thing and so I will put up with anything for a bit of rest bite from that....... and it might work better cus the medron I seem to have adjusted too..... xx and the full compliment of horses
Hi Sally,
I had to stop the veg a few years ago now.... lost a fair bit of income but...The land is now grazed or cut for hay an then grazed.... It earns more that way but like a fool I got fond of the horses and so he know gets 8-9 months of grazing.
Tis a hard sometimes but it is kinda me and without it all I hate to think what I would be.
Loved the saying.....
Have you ever heard this one.....
3000 years ago people worshiped cats...... Cat have never forgotten
Be be in you pocket on the 13th flower don't you worry abut that. xx
Hi Tilly,
The Deer is back now... but.... she has taught the poor thing how to be a horse as well
Its able to shake me out of the hole..... I know I got a lot of techniques to get out (which reminds me you still got that ladder) and your right if all else fails it blows your mind ((( ))) and hopes Cris xx0 -
Oh I hadn't heard the cat one and that explains all. I like it! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
-
Sounds like an interesting life. I live in a city so have to make do with the cat and foxes. Got several in the back garden and they don't half make a racket. Hope I will get back to gardening eventually. Just need some better drugs.
Hadn't heard the 3000 years ago one. Nice!
Thanks for coming on 13th!
xx0 -
Hi Cris
Sorry I haven't been in this week to see how you are. So sorry to hear about the legs not behaving and no doubt you are still in the process of building an ark there if you have had the day we have had. Just leaving some energy, stamina and restfulness, along with a few hugs. (((( )))). Do hope the legs improve soon for you.
love and bestest fudge (from you know where)
Chris xxx0 -
HI Chris!
good to see you posting ....... even if it is from the top bunk in the ark Can I join you please? and may need room for littlelegs as she is not too impressed with current weather patterns
how are you doing? how's work .... are you managing to avoid having to work extra? Oooooh so many questions  sorry!
anyway, good to see you
WOnky0 -
Hi Cris so sorry to hear that you are feeling so rough at the moment, you've not had a good run of it lately, lots of hope that things get better soon. Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and sending lots of gentle healing hugs (((((((())))))), love Brenda xxx PS hope all those animals are behaving for you xxxxx0
-
Hi cris I am also sorry you are still having a rubbish time after all what you have been through. But you know what :?: with some of your comments you still make me laugh.
I love the fact that eventhough you must feel cr*p you still manage to answer the forum and give us a little giggle along side of the serious stuff.
Hope you have a good day today
Thinking of you
JuliePF x0 -
Morning hun, 'tis I, DD, checking in to wish you a much better day. I hope the weather has improved - it's quite reasonable up here today, and that the contents of your ark are all well and behaving. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
