Thanks to you both, I ma kinda off balance today.... That run in with the sister has really effected me confidence and strength wise I think... but legs are much better, the back has given way though..... I see them in 11 days and I Will plead with her to do multiple sights..... I hope she will.....

She went for the jugular! It was a huge slap in the face and well i haven't made the appointment for the next drip and be honest..... I sort of hope the leg is something and the drip will get cancelled.... Glad that your friend has cheered you up..

That nurse sounds really unpleasant.. why are some people like that?? I had a irate man shouting at me yesterday, saying my car was blocking an exit in john lewis car park.. I apologised and moved it, but today I went back to the store and asked to see the manager and showed her where I had been parked - and she said I was quite OK to park there - it was the man who was at fault!! I hope I see him again - I'll be ready for him next time!! These bullies need to be taken down a peg or two...


I've had my 17.5 mgs of methotrex this week and (touch wood) so far have not had any nausea (I've got some anti-nausea medication in the cupboard though, just in case). I haven't felt any improvement to my hands as yet, they still feel like they've been crushed in a vice, but I'm hoping the mtx will work ....)

I'm just about to get the vacuum out and clear up the chunks of fur on my kitchen floor - the girls have had a real 'set to' over a biscuit they found, so the fur has really been flying this evening. !!

Hope the cats are not giving you too much gip over the disrutpion to their sleeping accommodation!

I sometimes have to drive my self in and the other is over 20 miles which isn't much but is if you have been throwing up for 4-6 hours.....Its also in at 8.30 and you are lucky to be hooked up before 13,00 so kinda a long day there... and never a midline either! :roll:

Which ever I get moaned at cus of getting this line in.... I get hurt cus well i keep on being told I am difficult and you know what..... I am so compliant and don't ever ring the bell no matter how unwell i feel...as you know I just go to sleep

You come with next time and give em your stern face! Ange will help stare the sister down... me I just lowered my head, waited for her to leave the room and burst in to tears... you'd think by now I would be better at all this! 9 years practice and i am still rubbish xx

They do this girls don't they? I had more problem with my **** then I have had the dogs.... Rivalry they say and worse if they are related as well..... I hope they have sorted out their order and will be happy in each others company for a bit.

I so hope your 17.5 works and you will soon feel the benefits.... I still have this hope that the mtx will do something for the wrists and elbows but maybe when I see the rumo he will up it to 20 and that could work eh? I so hope you will find the benefits come in really well now.

Eeee, Cris, you do talk such a lot of old potatoes sometimes! If anyone else has a need for support you are the first there! So just now we are supporting you for a change.......it's a good feeling for us.

I know only too well what self-recrimination that kind of situation brings........I replay such scenes over and over in my head (or I did, until I got too old and too decrepit to care) and they nag away at me for months if I let them.

Let it go, Cris at least for the moment. Such easy words to type and so hard to do! But it is water under the bridge now and I'm sure all the sheepsis would wholeheartedly agree with that one.

Leave it till you see your nice Rumo.......fretting over it won't make it come out any different..........so try? Pretty please.......

Truly hope the legs improve and that all round things get better for you.

I promise to try and let it go but poor Doc H is gong to need his tissue box and you know for once I would really like someone to come with... I know you lot will but you know what I mean?

Bit down today Annie... I woke in so much pain from my back and neck I was basically paralyzed..... Took me so long to get the arms and legs to respond so well not a good day been there before and hell I don't want to go back there....

Petal, I wish so hard I could be there for real.........I know how it is I long for someone to come with me and do all the talking.....but I've found I'm even worse if that happens.......on my own I have to pull myself together to a certain extent or I spend the entire appointment time bawling my eyes out. A tip - take your own tissues, theirs make make my nose sore!

Just hope you can get some decent sleep tonight, even if it is with your head stuck between the speakers. No accounting for tastes!

Listen a min Cris.... the support you get on the forum is gladly, freely and lovingly given. You have such constant and revolving difficulties and pain and I for one am amazed at how you cope day to day. :!:

if your buddies here can help just to lift you a little then it's a job well done for us ....you're a precious friend to many and the most unselfish person I know, that's for sure.

Right.... I've sent down the loons again to help with the roundup and with a bit of luck they'll bring them in this time rather than chase them all away.

My twin sis Margot... is also on her way. :shock: ...now she is definitely the best organiser ... and will have you, the lodgers, the hens and all... ship shape in no time. ...and banish fear from the house! (she makes a mean veggie soup too!)
