You people are brilliant!
I hate this drip... it make you have a headache and without the anti-emetic I get very unwell. Its getting harder to got in for it
The main hospital didn't send the drug :x :x :x They couldn't get it there till later today and well now, thanks to their cock up I have to have 5 days dose in 4 days    My reluctance has gone into hyper drive and without Toni and Iris I would have just sat and rocked crying in the chair.......
Instead I took my anger out with a pounder and some fence posts.....
Went to un-do the calves Armageddon...... they raided the sheeps shed big time, fences all over the place, posts pulled up and well other not so pleasant things that make it evident they HAD been in there what ever they said....
I might just have a bit of scheduled armchairing cus I is so tired..... hey least I can sleep this week, especially when the bp falls s low
Toni thank you for tarting the thread and helping to hold me together this morning... I was very upset at the thought of 5 pushed into 4.....xxx

hi Cris, wishing all the best for the rest of this week with your horrid treatment. Be thinking of you and hope you are back to normal when it's over. You've got so much for other people you deserve a lots of treats this week for yourself.
love S0 -
Cris, I've posted on the CC forum, but in your honour and because it's you, I'm leaving behind the jellied eels and taking cheesey rolls with me instead.
I will be there hanging from the drip stand, roll in one hand and a large glass of ..........something in the other. I will be suspended by a harness. That way I can give you alternate bites and sips.
Love from a very concerned Annie who has found the pushing solution - a snow plough!0 -

Hi Cris,
I know you hate this awful treatment flower, but we know that this is so important to your health. Deep breath and we will count the days together. Just think that you will start to feel better able to cope with infections and maybe get a bit of your oomph back!
Stupid hospital trust needs a kick up the you know what.
I see the employers are running you ragged again. We will have to have a stern word with their leaders.
Oh I do hope the laptop works ok for you.
Loads of hugs, Lv, Ix0 -
Hi there Cris
OOOh - what a blooming pain that they didn't have your meds today!
Hey - just heard that that woman who dumped the cat in the wheelie bin has been charged .....good!
Have you seen the new ikea advert Cris, with all the cats and kittens? It's really good.. you could probably watch it on the laptop actually..
I 'm thinking about you and wishing, wishing, wishing, that the next 4 days pass very quickly Cris..

Hi, I'll be thinking of you. Seems like its going to be quite a crowd at your place in the morning! I'd send you my lucky black cat, but I've just discoverd she's got flies!!! So tomorrow she's getting Frountline down her neck and that sends her hyper, running round in circles, still does the job with, ohh itch, bloody flies!!! Lots and lots of love,
Sue. xxxxxx0 -
Hi Cris,
sorry you dread this week so much and that they co**ed up with getting the meds on time. Still, you're saved a few stabbings. Try and get up to bed early tonight to conserve strength for tomorrow.
Take care,
Speedy

HI Cris
my flabber has never been quite so ghasted
I wish I was nearer you and then the hospital would have received both barrels from me, and believe me at the moment NO _ONE dares get on the wrong side of me
IF they can't organise themselves it is a disgrace, and we should all decamp down there and let them know what is what
in the meantime, littlelegs has her best nurses uniform on, large syringe of 'I really must go' meds, and she'll be there all the way with you, just in case I can't be.
thinking of you loads and sending you as many hugs (((()))) slurps, wags and woofs as you can deal with.

Hi Cris!
As usual I'm late booking my seat on the bus but I hope there'll be room for a little one! Hopefully by now you'll be all tucked up & sleeping but when you wake you'll hear us all outside the window clambering into our seats!
I know how horrid these weeks are for you, sweetie but you will get through it & we'll all be there with you.

(Read this in a David Attenborough 'gorilla' whisper)
It's close to dawn and you find me lying in the long grass outside the front door of the home of a rare creature - indeed possibly the rarest I will ever encounter. This is the den of a Cornish Skezier, a small creature, as I understand it, one prone to bouts of shyness when others express concern for it, and who is often found curled up in an armchair. The skezier is characterised by its acts of great kindness and concern, always aimed at animals, which include sheep, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and last, but not least, sick humans who all have the same illness, arthritis. The skezier is also rumoured to be extremely fierce when roused and very independant.
I was contacted by one of those humans, a DD, who told me that a covert operation was being mounted this morning to gently capture this last remaining skezier, to ensure it is transported safely to hospital for essential treatment. If the skezier does not recieve this treatment (which the DD assures me is painful, uncomfortable in the extreme, and very lowering in its initial effect) the skezier could find it more difficult to live in its natural environment, doing what it does best, which is caring for others. To that end, I understand there is also a dorcas, a frogmorton, a tillytop and a barbara12 somewhere in the vicinity, together with many back-up people, to ensure that the skezier does not escape (which is what the skezier really wants to do). So far, all is quiet on the skezier front, and I cannot see the others, but I know they are there.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
From my vantage point, I can now see Tilly on the roof, peering down the chimney for signs of movemement in the embers - which is the other favourite snoozing place for a skezier. Through the morning mist I can also just make out the other members of the party moving quickly and quietly through the trees to begin this most delicate but vital operation....0
-
'Tis I, DD. I have found a perfect vantage point outside the back door, from whence I can spring out and trap and escaping skezier with an expertly timed rugby-type tackle. I can see the tilly, prowling over the roof area, she is an extremely nimble example of her type. Anyone spotted frog? Or anyone else?Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this.
