Hi Barbara, Sally, Annie, Berty, Chris, I, Marion, Sue, Speedy, Iris, Colin, Wonky, Debs, Louise, Sharon, Pennie and DD,
I can believe how kind you lot are and I don't deserve it but thank you for this incredible support. I honestly am so grateful to you all for bothering. Its really moving that your all right there, prodders in hand to make me go and also make me go a bit less miserable that I used to.
Paying for 2bouts of stupidity...... one, remind me not matter how cross I am and it needs doing I MUST NOT use the pounder like that unless the pain clinic appointment is very imminent The other one I did the stupid unschedule armchairing all night......I was just so tired...... I did think I would make it to bed before I feel asleep but..... I will kip today cus that ends up being the best way of getting through it!
I got the wrong mind set about this today..... I usually do have mind It will get better once I have got there....... I hope you all got your prodders, shovers and did I see a snow plough
Worse thing is this fear of being thrown back to the big hospital..... I had it done thee for 5 yeas and it was endlessly cancelled and if you did get it (I went 18 months once) they just don't get the line in till dinnertime or after......I wasn't getting out till gone 11 at night but they want you back at 8 the next morning...... I know its 5 years ago and things change.... but..... I doubt its got better! What do you recon Lose cus we have the same hospital......
As Chis said its come around quick this time.... I am so sorry I need your help like this every 4 months...... They do talk at putting it to every 3......
Feeling quite weepy actually, some of that's pain and horror cus I know how bad this drip can be (its not always like this, I just get a few of the side effects so if you ever have to have it it will be ok) mostly cus of the kindness you people show me. DD your tight the skezier thing is shy over kindness...... they just not used to it ( That was brilliant by the way and I will think of answer I thought done in the voice of Steve Backley hey that's something I could work on to aid as an anti boredom thing )
Sharon a shed load of bubbles coming up your way and I have actually found the best bubble mix ever yep i know I am sad
Right again thank you all so much... now I have Snowy sat here and a fairly small whiskery faced nurse.... in the immaculate uniform.... and L. Legs on her name tag.... best get cleaned up cus I think they mean business.
Mine don' help get me gone cus for them its a conflict of interests
You all take care and I really will try to get the legs working better....... right come on ... 1...... 2...... 3 push!
Oh Iris I drank your potion by mistake  what will it do to me
Love to you all and ((((( ))))) as well Cris xx
...... ooooo whats that on the roof......I think I might just slide out the door and leg it across the fields...... and Tilly your lovely! xx0 -
(David Attenborough again)
Dawn has been and gone. The skezier has been spotted and appears to be in a highly charged state. Much gentleness will be required in handling the skezier today, as the armchair has claimed her again, leading to poor rest and tiredness. I think the provision of many treats, laid out along the way, may be beneficial. Thus could the skezier be lured out if its hiding place and into the gentle arms of its rescuers. Here's hoping.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi DD,
Well depends.... what sort of treats and is cdm in it
Got to get moving... made a cuppa just now and hell is my beck unhappy ... something has crept in an stole my coordination as well... drat this armchair! xx0 -
Morning hun, I have in my hand a recently re-charged and thus glowing cope. Any good? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
-
Oh DD please... mine is failing at the mo... Just said to Toni if they can't get a line in easily.... I might not get out till 6 or even 7 and then I burst into treas....... So yep a bucked of stamina and fortitude is needed as well as a giant kick up the bum xx0
-
All on its way now. Luckily you have a small bum and I have big feet so I shall easily boot you in, then I shall chuck in after you various buckets, the cope, cdm and a bottle of lovely glugs. Oh, and the ellies and the laptop, tho you might have to catch the latter. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
-
Oh now the glug would he;[p them find a vein
Got to go flower and will fly over the CC and just thank the people there and get clan... find some shoes that dont have steel toe caps I just hope I get home early enough to let the chicken out..... xx0 -
We're with you all the way. Oh go on then, as it's you. ((())) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
-
Hey Cris
I'm right behind you too and I'm sure with some gentle encouragement we can get you there today. Perhaps the talk of cattle prods and snow ploughs etc is a bit much for you this morning.
Given that your co-ordination is not good this morning, I have found an old shopping trolley in the hedge, cleaned it up and lined it with a nice fleecy blanket and some pillows, so we can push you to the hospital in style (or as near as it gets to style round here.....)
Thinking of you and sending more buckets of courage.
Love and ((())))s
Tilly xxx0 -
Morning Cris,
The potion will make following DD's trail of scrumptiousness irresistible.....and the hossie will now take on the look of a racecourse where you will be seated in the royals box for a day of fizz and strawberries
If that doesn't work then I'll have to warn you about nurses little legs and hope.... their combined nursing skills and bedside manner (trained in the M.A.S.H unit don't you know!) are second to none.....and they don't take no for an answer!
so I think you might just be in safer hands in the hossie.
we'll be with you Cris and watching the docs and nurses to make sure they get it right first time.
love and some more anti emetic super strength (((hugs)))
Iris xxx0 -
Hi Iris,
It tastes like strawberries as well... oh fiz and group one race... much better
I did see Miss L Legs has a bit of possy   Sheep always look so sweet in nurse uniforms but... they view it as .... payback and stampy said she had injections recently......
You get the bus out side the door and I will get clean.. and find the non steel shoes (((()))) and Hope said she will let you know where they have taken me xx
hi Tilly,
Oh love the shopping trolley Fleece lined and after the arm chair it will be so comfy
Might drift to see the deer and the tree....
Hope your ok today and leaving you a (((( )))) as I make a break for freedom xx0 -
Hi Cris, just wanted to wish you all the best. I know it's not easy but I know you'll get through it. Everyone is thinking of you and sending their support. Big hugs, rita0
-
Hey Cris,
What's this about drifting off to see the deer and making a break for freedom?
Any more talk like that and we'll all have to ride in the shopping trolley to sit on you so you can't esape!
Have arranged for the deer to nibble the grass outside the hospital window so you will be able to see him while you are having your meds and he will be able to send lots of virtual nudges through the glass.
Obviously more courage needed, so sending more buckets now.
Lots love Tilly xxx0 -

(David Attenborough - if you don't know why, look back at the previous page)
The operation 'Skezier Rescue' seems to have gone off without a hitch. The skezier is now safely on her way to the hospital for her treatment, safely caged in the arms of her various friends and supporters. This operation occurs at least twice a year, and it does ensure the survivial of that rare beast, the Cornish Skezier: it is vital that the friends continue to gather, when necessary, to ensure that things proceed as planned. Skeziers are very, very, rare: their survival is essential to other fauna of this planet.Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Hi chris
Will be thinking of you

Well everyone
Ive had a text
Supernurse Charlotte (scary but GOOD!) has got a line in Hoorah and only second go at that If it holds they hope to use it all week.
As yet the 'substance' iloprost has yet to be connected, vut shouldnt be long. She is hoping for an escape time of 5.30-6pm
She is still raving about how wonderful we all are  how embarrassing.
Looks like, DD and David Atteborough, the rare Cornish Skezier will live to fight another day
LOve

I have relayed the news to Mr A, he is delighted (as am I) that the line is in: fingers crossed it holds and they can use it for the rest of the treatment. I hope she can let you know during the day how things are going. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Thanks Toni for the updates! I was almost frightened to look in case she had bolted at the last minute - I know it was a close run thing!
Cris, hopefully you will be able to log on and see these messages. We are all still with you. The deer can see you through the window and sends a nudge!
Chin up chuck!
Love, hugs, and more buckets of courage.
Tilly xxx0 -
